Yannika nodded, still completely unsettled about the situation but comforted somewhat by the idea that Izzy appeared to be on her side. She boarded the shuttle and remained quiet on the trip back to the palace.

"Mmmh. We're done here. Let us return." She beckoned everyone back into the capital. Once there, unless anything drastic happened, they spend the time practising. Rikkert to train in the first books offensive spell, further strengthening his combat psionics. Alexandros and Halipa to train in the second book's barriers. With Alexandros aiming for the absorbing one, and Halipha the reflective one. Verner meanwhile will continue to hone his stealth, hoping to improve his detection evasion even more.
