Despite his lack of armour, Vladimir receives many look of shock and fear as he strides through the palace, though a group of large reptilian aliens look like they want to challenge him to a fight, making for an unusual change of pace. Escorted by imperial guardsmen, Vladimir is lead through the halls of the palace, arriving in a huge library, where the young emperor stands beside a beautiful blonde woman. The woman, and the young sovereign, share a long look, before Carius approaches Vladimir. "I wanted to thank you." He waves away his guards, until the two of them are alone. "You did your job with the duchess' planets well. She was here a few days ago, negotiating her annexation." He smiles, his expression friendly, but even, making it hard to tell what his true demeanor is. "It wasn't part of the deal, but I think you deserve a reward. For three centuries, you've been serving my dynasty, implementing our policies. Now, I want your help in creating them." He hands Vladimir a badge, the metal tiny in the warrior's huge hand. "What do you say, councilor?"
Halipha nods, as one of the marines takes his place between Mary's legs, and another slides his cock between her breasts. In the med bay, Vizelle hears giggling, and sees Omera and Verner sitting together, chatting, with Urik in stable condition nearby. Verner bolts up as she enters, surprising Omera. "Mo-Mistress."
Vizelle smiles as Omera, and Verner seemed to be getting along. "Be at ease, my dear boy." She hummed, moving closer to Urik. "I am simply here to make another attempt to extract whatever is ailing him." She said, holding onto the young man's cheek, Vizelle once more tries to draw in the ancient power within him.
Verner nods, and Omera looks with undisguised attention. Spoiler: Psionic Roll D100: 34+15=49 (Fail) Vizelle feels herself get a little closer on this attempt, but the power's alien nature eludes her, as if it were...slippery, for lack of a better term. It's hard for her psionic energy to keep contact with Urik's for very long.
"Hmm. A little bit more." Vizelle said in a slightly annoyed tone. "It seems our races psionics aren't that good of a match." She sighed, "I shall try again at another time." She hummed, moving away, "Fufu. Sorry for intruding." She teased, heading out to look for Jaya. The sorceress licking her lips as the gangbang from earlier had gotten her heated up. Fufu, I wonder what she's done with that mech. She pondered to herself as she headed for Jaya's room.
She finds Jaya in her cabin, sparks flying as the engineer welds some sort of machinery. The sounds of gagging and moaning coming from the cargo hold do little to help Vizelle's heat.
She carefully approaches Jaya, waiting for her to stop welding before calling out. "I think we have some unfinished business." She hummed, "I recall you mentioning a remodeled mech. Yet we haven't gotten to use it yet." The sorceress grins, "So, how about we rectify that?"
Jaya turns, grinning, before using her terminal to send off a signal. Out of a storage container emerges a mech, a massive dildo attached to it. "I've seen to it that he's very...passionate."
Vizelle licks her lips, "Very well then. Will you be joining, or will we be playing alone together?" She teased, leading the mech back into her room. The sorceress removes her dress, "Fufu. Let's see what you can do then." She hummed as she lay on the bed.
It was the first time Vladimir had yet the young Emperor in person, and the moment the Eternal Warrior walked through the door he dropped to one knee and bowed his head. Both of his hands came up to rest on the knee in front of him and he asked "What is thy bidding? My Emperor." Upon hearing his liege's request, to say Vladimir was surprised would have been an understatement. While true he was, technically, ruler of his world, he was no politician. His solutions to problems were quite... direct to put it diplomatically and politics were not something he was eager to engage in. But the Emperor had asked. "You do me great honor sire. If you believe such an appointment due, then I accept. What matters need addressing?"
The mech is, true to Jaya's words, far from timid. Grasping Vizelle's arms, it throws her onto the bed, pinning her down, and rubbing the dildo against her entrance. Jaya enters not long after, grinning. "Ready?"
"Rise." Carius gestures. "There are multiple matters you could assist with." Missions (Pick one): Missions already chosen by another player are marked with a *. You can still take these missions - The Gates of the Warp: Seeing the previous emperor's death as an opportunity, a demon worshiping cult has opened a gate to the warp on an important agri world, threatening to overwhelm the region in a demon invasion. The Inquisition requests aid in closing the gates. - Corruption on Constantinopolis: The recent murder of a government figure in the capital has exposed the existence of a government corruption ring. One or more high powered officials have been embezzling large sums of money, and they're clearly willing to kill to evade justice. These criminals must be exposed and brought to justice. * - Death and Taxes: The Empire's financial system is currently a mess. It's not the most exciting job, but helping the emperor set the new tax rate could be very useful to the Empire. * - The Traitor: Captain Maxon, formerly of the Imperial Guard, has fled with a contingent of his men after being implicated in a coup plot. He must be brought in to answer for his treason. - The Demon Planet: A massive sphere of demonic energy has been sighted moving into Terran space. Exactly what it is and what it's for is unknown, but one thing is for certain: It's far from holy. -The Automatons: In the fringes of galactic space, an army has begun to attack human space, an army made up not of humans, or even of aliens, but of a group of ancient and powerful AI. The military and the Research Institute could use assistance in dealing with this threat. - Paying dues: One of the Terran Empire's oldest and most loyal vassal races, the Tel'reah, are under attack by an invading xenos empire. Normally, the relationship between the human empires and their vassals is one sided, with the vassal providing tribute under threat of force, but Carius wishes to take things in a more equitable direction. He's called for a force to be taken to liberate the Tel'reah, and exterminate the invaders. - Stay Quiet for now: It might be beneficial to not take any mission for now, and merely focus on familiarising yourself with the Imperial Court, it's people and its pleasures.
"Mmmh. My, my." Vizelle hummed as the mech pinned her down, grinning as Jaya entered now soon after. "Fufu. You know I'm always ready for a little fun." She replied, spreading her legs to give the mech easier access to her crotch.
Eanne nodded to Yannika in greeting as they passed each other. “Your Majesty.” The noblewoman bowed to the Emperor. “I hope I am not interrupting anything, but I wanted to inform you where each faction stands on the taxes issue...” Eanne proceeded to tell Carious about her conversation with Duke Chernobog and the results of it. She did not mention any of the irrelevant details, such as the potential bribe the Duke had hinted at, or that she had spent the night at the Duke's place, enjoying the company of his daughters. The arrival of a tall and imposing man interrupted her report. She waited calmly for Carius to finish talking with the new person and get back to her, then resumed her explanation. Next she told the emperor how her conversation with professor Isabella had turned out. She made sure to mention the mechs, but not the other experiment she had watched. Then she moved on to Bishop Lysandra. She did not mention the true power of the artifact the church was looking for or the blessing she had received – she had promised to keep the former to herself, and the latter was a personal thing so there was no reason to bring it up. “And finally, the Trade Guild – this is where things get interesting...” Eanne proceeded to describe her meeting with Aurelios, how she believed he had lied about what the Guild was truly after and how important the mining seemed. “I find it curious that both the Church and the Guild are interested in the same sector. If it was just the Church I would not think much about it – the artifact they seek might not even be there, or it might not be what they think – though I have no doubt that no matter what they find they will think of some way to present it as an artifact of significant religious importance. But then it turned out the Guild is also interested in that sector... it could be just a coincidence – maybe they just found some good mining spots that will allow them to earn a lot of money by selling rare resources... or they could be searching for something else such as another artifact – or even the same one...” She paused giving the young emperor a few moments to consider the things she had just told him. “That is all I have for you right now. What do you think, my liege?”
Vladimir stroked his chin and contemplated his options. Death and Taxes was not something he was suited for, and he was satisfied that another councilor was addressing the issue. The Automatons and Paying Dues he had no special feelings on either way. The Eternal Warriors from Noctis typically dealt with internal conflicts rather than external ones. But perhaps once other matters were complete he might be compelled to deal with them. The Traitor and Corruption on Constantinopolis did draw his attention. Treason and injustice caused his blood to boil and he felt a familiar rage swell within him. But another councilor was already handling the corruption issue, and something tugged at the back of his conscience that it might not be the best thing to deploy a Legion of Eternal Warriors to hunt down one man, even one who had committed treason against the Emperor. He would like to handle that matter personally... The Gates of the Warp, and The Demon Planet were the last ones he was left with, and privately he was happy about that. While he was uncertain what the unknown sphere could do, he knew from experience a demonic incursion had to be addressed. Immediately. "Should it please you my Emperor, I shall depart with the Nightfall Battle Fleet and end the demonic incursion on your agri-world."
The mech has no concern for Vizelle or her comfort, pounding the massive fake phallus inside her at intense speeds. Jaya grins "Nothing little about that."
Carius listens quietly. "Well done." He nods. "We'll have to investigate exactly what's in this sector of uncharted space that makes it so valuable." He flashes Eanne a smile. "You've done a great job, my lady."
Vladimir bowed before the Emperor, bid the ladies present farewell, and returned to the Endless Night.
Aboard his flagship, Vladimir sees the information ready for him. He's to travel to a planet called Lars III, and, once there, rendezvous with Sister Andronicus of the inquisition. The planet is already heavily occupied by demonic and cultist forces.
