"Lovely, ma'am." Miriam looks her mistress up and down, and it's clear that the girl wants to do more than fix Eanne's hair, but she does as told nonetheless. Heading to Sitra's room, she finds the young woman getting ready. "O-Oh, hey!" She smiles. "Just a moment." Putting on a skirt, she moves to follow her lover.
“You look gorgeous!”Eanne beamed and gave her lover a quick kiss on the lips, then took Sitra's hand and led the way to where the dinner would take place.
They find the table stacked with delicious food, more than they can probably eat. Evelyn is already waiting, in a gown not unlike the one she was wearing before. "My dear." She smiles at Eanne. "And her friend Sitra. What a pleasure it is to meet you properly." Sitra manages a polite, if unexeptional, response.
“Mother.” Eanne nodded politely in greeting, then leaned over to whisper in Sitra's ear. “Relax, you're doing fine. And it's just us here, anyway. No one is going to judge you if you are not perfect.” She helped her lover sit down before taking a seat herself.
Sitra nods, trying to relax, as she sits next to Eanne. "It's okay, girl. I don't bite." Evelyn grins. "Unless you want me to." Sitra blushes and laughs awkwardly.
“Mother! Don't start teasing her right from the beginning!” Eanne admonished her mother, though her happy smile made it clear she was saying that for Sitra's benefit more than anything. “In some ways mother is just as young as we are. Don't let her embarrass you.” She added as she squeezed her girlfriend's hand reassuringly. (Eanne bringing her girlfriend to meet her mother is not something I've written before, so I'll be improvising here.)
"I'm old." Evelyn shrugs. "I can be forgiven a few eccentricities." She begins talking to Sitra as they eat, and though the girl is scared of the interrogation, to older woman begins to put her at ease with humour, telling an embarrassing story about Eanne's first crush.
Eanne did her best to help Sitra relax. “Mother!” She protested when Evelyn got to the story about her first crush, though her happy smile made it obvious she was protesting only because it was expected of her. “Well, if we're talking about old crushes, how about you tell us about your first crush, mother?” Eanne suggested with a smirk. She almost included Sitra's first crush as well, but then remembered what had happened to Sitra's husband and decided not to make her sad by making her remember.
"My first crush?" Evelyn chuckles and looks at Eanne. "Actually, my first crush was for your father." Sitra smiles. "That's so romantic!" "Of course..." Evelyn puts on a naughty grin. "I was engaged to your uncle at the time."
“Engaged to uncle?” Eanne raised an eyebrow. “I don't think I've heard this story before... go ahead, mother, tell us more about this engagement...” She encouraged, curious just what had happened back then.
"Heh." She smirks, sipping wine. "It's not the most honorable story, but I've always been honest with you." Putting down the wine, she begins. "As you know, I was born into a minor noble family, here on Samodiva. As such, my parents had me engaged to your uncle, the second in line to Samodiva's throne. Then, I met your father..." She sighs. "He was everything your uncle wasn't. Handsome, charming, intelligent, a great warrior. Then, one night, he came to my room, and I found that he was better in bed, too." Sitra blushes hard. "When your grandparents passed, and your father took control of Samodiva, he came to ask for my hand, and I accepted. I always felt bad for your uncle, but I wanted to be with the man I loved." She shrugs.
“I see... well, I, for one, am glad you chose love over duty, mother...” Eanne nodded, then looked at Sitra. “Come to think of it, I know nothing about your mother, only about your father. Would you mind telling me a bit about her, dear? If that is alright with you, that is...”
Sitra nods and smiles. "Of course! She's...well... I suppose she's a lot like you two. Confident, sexy..." She says, almost envious. "She's still around. She and father had a dispute over money, and now she runs her own organisation. I see her sometimes." She shakes her head. "Not as much as I'd like, but you know how it is."
“I see... well, I can see where you got your looks from...” Eanne smirked as she openly checked out Sitra's body. “I hope I will get to meet her later... but for now let's give the food a try. It looks delicious, it would be a waste to ignore it...”
“Mmm, this is divine!” Eanne sighed after tasting the food. For a while the three women enjoyed the meal, making small talk in-between dishes. Eventually Eanne decided she'd had enough for now. “Wonderful, simply wonderful! Ah, it's so good to be home and in the company of beautiful women...” She sighed, a happy smile on her face as she looked at her mother and girlfriend finish their own dishes.
"I couldn't agree more." Evelyn smirks. "So, as to why you've brought this young beauty..." She looks at Sitra.
“She is beautiful, isn't she.” Eanne smiled and put her hand on Sitra's, squeezing lightly. “She seemed like she needed some time away from her usual daily life, so I invited her to visit Samodiva and she accepted. Since then we spent quite a lot of time together and we have gotten rather close...” Eanne paused as she struggled to find the right words, her face red, “...very close...” deciding to risk it she put her hands on Sitra's face, making her turn toward her, then pulled her closer and placed a tender and loving kiss on her lips.
Sitra gasps in surprise, before easing into the kiss, moaning softly despite herself. "She's gorgeous." Evelyn smiles. "I see your taste didn't diminish in the capital. Should I leave you two alone?"
“No, let's finish dinner first, we still have dessert left. Me and my girlfriend will have plenty of time for ourselves later.” Eanne smiled happily at Sitra as she spoke, pleased that the silver-haired beauty was already accepting of kisses in front of other people – her shyness had clearly diminished significantly.
