Story Map is a Headache

This would work to some extent IF accompanied by a change to the date field.

If the branch is open, it shows the date of the chapter.
If the branch is closed, it shows the date of the most recent chapter added within the closed branch.

Otherwise you just end up having to open EVERYTHING back up to find a new chapter.
