The Life of Simone Stewart

I'm honestly not sure what I expect from this thread but figured it couldn't hurt to make one for the story (https://chyoa.com/story/The-Life-of-Simone-Stewart.32381). I started it after getting some encouragement from folks off a short branch I wrote about the character in another person's public story so it's not exactly planned out yet.

I know it's starting slow but I feel the need to fill out a lot of detail before getting to the good stuff. Any suggestions, comments, and requests could be very helpful though I don't promise anything

 

Well, I did finally get to a couple of sex scenes in chapters 14 and 15. I admit I'm kinda addicted to writing non-sex scenes and dialog at the moment though.

I just figured I should update this

 

I'm the same. I love the world building chapters as I call them. I love dropping interesting little tidbits that could go on to be plot material like there's a space under the old barn or there's a PTA meeting next Tuesday or this girl works in promotions, here's her business card. I find there only so many sex scenes I can write and I need to be in the mood to get them really steamy.

 

I have a regular reader who calls what I do world-building but to be honest, I am just really enjoying writing dialog in this story for some reason

 

There's never anything wrong with dialogue or worldbuilding

 

I'm enjoying writing it but I just published chapter 21 and only two have sex in it so far. I suspect that's abnormal here at CHYOA. I'm having fun writing it though so that's really my measure of success now.

 

Two more added today and there is another sex scene. For those keeping track, that makes 23 chapters and 3 sex scenes. Don't ask me why I'm keeping track like this

 

Branched out a bit this time because I'm not sure which part of the story interests me most at the moment

 

For some reason, this is my favorite scene in the story so far. Something about it just works for me even if there is no sex.

 

You all can complain about my crappy writing but not that I don't provide lots of chapters. We're 31 deep at the moment

 

I aim to produce an average of 1000 words a day, is that your credo?

 

It all depends on what I have going on. Most chapters are around 1,200 words and I'm averaging over a chapter a day. If life gets busy, I might pull back some though. Right now, I'm happy to push at least one a day out though.

 

Wait until life gets in the way!

Luckily for me, this is my escape.

 

COVID has worked to keep me less busy than normal so I write more. If things go back to normal soon, I'll probably cut back because I'll have a real life again lol.

 

OK. I had requests for both 'Rest Stop' and 'Revenge' in the comments of the porn post so I'm working on Revenge first since it was the first comment. I may be a tad slower with these since I haven't quite written anything like them before. Cut the author a bit of a break

 

The first part of revenge is out. I'm too tired to edit the rest for posting tonight though. The rest will likely be posted tomorrow. Then I'll bend my brain to tackling rest stop.

 

The Revenge branch is posted for the Porn storyline. I'm hoping to get Rest Stop done by the end of the weekend

 

OK. Rest Stop has been started in the porn branch for anyone that has been waiting for it. I'm not sure if I'll finish it tonight though. I got busy earlier on rl stuff for a bit

 

I'm done writing for tonight. I owe y'all about two more chapters for Rest Stop. I'll see if I can't knock them out tomorrow

 

The last sex scene in rest stop is posted. I owe you all a wrap up chapter though. I'll get it tomorrow, promise!
