    Do vampires count as non-humans?

As much as I'd like to try and play the minotaur, I just have no idea what his personal story would be. What is his motivation? What does he want to achieve? What sort of hijinks do I want him to get involved in?

With the changeling, I have a much clearer mindset on who she is, what she's after, and how she'd go about doing it.

I'm not @merkros so I can't make this call, but I'd say storywise it'd depend on: a) if your character was human before they became a vampire and (probably more importantly... b) how do the human societies view vampires.

Vampires are fine. The Empire probably views them as monsters that need to be destroyed.

Well, what they want is probably what everyone in the party is going to want in some way, shape, or form. Freedom from Tyranny and safety.

Dunno. I can picture a kind of whole thing for him.

"Pity them? Humans? They're just stains against the soil. My whole existence is punishment by the gods themselves or their arrogance and what do they do? Double down on it by trying to capture anything being that doesn't fit in with their ideals of nature. No claws, night vision, or wings...they are just the weak links on the earth only given a free pass because of the gods favoring them...yet, they still spurn it. The gods give them gifts, help them build their so called mighty kingdom, and they spat on the same hands that fed them into becoming anything close to a dominant species.

Thus, the whole point of the labyrinth. Take humans out of their element where they stack everything in favor of themselves. No weapons. No tools. Only their strength and wits to preserve....and you know how many of the hundreds, if not thousands sentenced to trial to prove their strength?...one. Just one alone, who was a demi-god among the mortals. allowing him to do things that this "superior" species, never could. For all their alleged pride in how they made things for themselves...they're just weak creatures that the gods failed to realize their mistake. They won't change. They won't grow up. They won't evolve. For all the thousands of years of incurring divine wrath, they learned nothing. So, it falls to me. To break all of it. No more monuments to the sky, celebrating themselves.

My mission is to return things to the natural order. To toss aside the false crown they wear as the kings of nature, and return things to the natural order, where a creatures actual strength and intelligence determined it's place on the food chain, rather than just patting themselves on the back for the clever tools of a few, but celebrating as an achievement of many. For every truly great thinker they have, they're is one hundred more who praise themselves just as much for simply reading and parroting the thinking already done before them as if it means anything to just cite someone else's discoveries. Do you think that's fair? For every exceptional individual to have their success undersold because a useless band of people want to leech it off as their own accomplishment? Destruction isn't even a punishment for these humans. The ideal is to return things to the way they should be, where the truly great among them will be able to rise above the rest when all that matters is your real skill. That's the dream. That's my vision. That's the god's decree.

In other words....SMASH THE PUNY HUMANS!"

Omega can correct me if i'm wrong, but I assume that he was speaking of Minotaur as a race, not deciding to literally play as Asterion, the minotaur from greek mythology.

Still, I do like the idea. Regardless, it's up to Omega who to play.

That's an interesting take @Auraicide but if I do end up playing as the Minotaur, I'm thinking of going down the cleric path. Inspired by the song "Missionary Man" by Eurythmics

I know the game is underway, but is it too late to throw in another character?

Technically it's never too late. A new character can always be introduced in some fashion. It might just take a little bit, the pacing has been quite slow so far...

Currently I think we’re all mostly waiting on each other. Now that they’re moving things should be happening
