as valerie strikes the leg it begins to burn....the manticore falls on it other side you see robert fighting the imp alone. downpour finishes his spell and suddenly tregus and valerie seem to feel quick, extremely so, downpour falls unconcius.
A haste spell! Nice! Valerie thinks as she feels the burst of speed. She immediately starts attacking the manticore with all she's got, aiming to finish off the beast as quickly as possible before it can recover. Hopefully Robert can handle an imp on his own... She adds in her mind as she slashes at the beast.
Yes, fall down creature. Tregus taught, and strike on head manticore, in to her nose. After he jump back to dodge reattack.
as tregus strikes the manticores head he feels something give way....the manticore falls into dust and ash as valerie burns the body with her blade, you see the imp fallen over and roberts sword pointing at his throat he seems to be begging for a deal.
With the manticore gone Valerie takes a quick look around, searching for any other enemies left. “Good job!” She says to the dwarf (whose names she still doesn't know but decides introductions can wait until the battle is fully over), then briefly looks at the unconscious Downpour on the ground and turns her attention to the busty elf who was healing the bear earlier. “Excuse me, miss, but you seem to be a healer, or at least to have some skill with healing. Could you check on him and see if he needs any healing, or if he's just exhausted?” She points down at the high elf on the ground. With that taken care of Valerie moves closer to where Robert and the imp are, trying to hear what they are saying. She remains alert, ready to interfere if the imp tries anything.
"You... Uff... too do... Ufff... well..." Tregus gasp simply, too weak to say something more. Dwarven battle mode is very bone-tired, and he need some time to rest. By premie on axe, he go to Aurora and Ir. "Well done Aurora. Later I will give you rewald." Dwarf caress head Ir.
as valerie points at downpour aurora goes over and checks on him "he's just tired from to much magical usage" the imp seems to be offering power to robert if he lets him go...robert seems rather annoyed by it
“Power, huh... Is this how this whole mess started? Someone was offered power, accepted but couldn't handle it, and suddenly the city is under attack by demons...” Valerie wonders out loud as she hears the imp's words and is reminded of something an adventurer told her at the beginning, before she got her flaming sword.
"Good bear. I know that I can count on you." Tregus said to Ir with pride in voice. They go tougether in so many fights, and survive all of them. Dwarf want badly sit down and stay with Ir, but their works is not yet done. Ignoring pain in the muscles he go to join woman." By the Way, I'm Tregus" He ofert her hand.
Valerie turns to face the dwarf. “Nice to meet you, Tregus. My name is Valerie.” She introduces herself and shakes his offered hand. Then she takes a moment to think back to the battle. “If I remember correctly, you called your elven companion Aurora, right? What about the bear? I think I heard its name too, but I'm not really sure – I was focused on other things at the time...” She asks the warrior, then takes a quick look at Robert and the imp.
" His name is Ir. My pride and joy. I rise and trening him since he was a little baby." He said to Valerie. Battle in mind dwarf was almost done. "Yeh, fight doesn't support making a new relations. I hope i isn't be more of this shit." He kick the ashes after manticore.
“I too hope we're done with the fighting... but somehow I doubt it. It would be too easy.” As she says that Valerie takes out the enchanted map she was given earlier and takes a quick look, checking out the current situation in the city before returning her attention back to Robert and the imp.
the city seems to be empty of enemies except the small orange object in front of robert. who is golden. you see robert lower his blade and begin speaking to the imp about what your unable to hear
Valerie gives Robert and the imp a curious – and a little suspicious – look but decides to let them be for now. Instead she examines the map some more, looking for the second golden dot she saw earlier, as well as any black or blue dots still remaining.
Tregus give a look at Valerie's map, but... In reading this thing he wasn't the best. "What did you said, for join forces? Tougether we will be safety. He ofert her.
“Sure, why not. Working with Downpour – that's the unconscious elf over there – worked out well. Having another reliable ally to help in battle would be nice. Although there shouldn't be any more fighting – for the moment, at least.” Valerie points at her map. “There are no more red dots, so the only enemy left is the imp – who appears to be the enemy leader too, I guess.” She decides to give Tregus an explanation about the map “Red dots are enemies, golden dots are important leaders – I guess that would be Robert over there and his father – blue are soldiers, guards, and similar, green are heroes – seems that includes us – and black are civilians.” I hope Grace is alright and did not get hurt... She thinks as she remembers the busty redhead. “Oh, right!” Remembering the book she left in the nearby alleyway when she joined the fighting Valerie goes and takes it, then quickly checks to make sure the stupid ring is still in her hidden pocket, where she put it (not that it's had a lot of chances to disappear). Later I should find someone who can help me read this book. She adds in her mind as she goes back to the dwarf and takes another look at Robert and the imp.
robert has dropped his weapon and now appears to be earnestly talking to the imp....the imp seems to be smiling as robert walks away and kills a knight saying the knight is a triator, you still have the ring
“Well, fuck. Let's kill the little bastard and then figure out what to do about that idiot Robert.” Valerie says when she sees Robert kill a random knight. She drops the book, grips her sword tightly, chants the words of her haste spell and with her temporary boost in speed rushes at the imp, attempting to kill the little bastard from behind before he can react to her attack. (OOC: Edited my character sheet to include most of the stuff since the game started. Later I'll double check and include anything I missed.)
Tregus only split on ground and acompany Valerie, he was ready to protect her by his shield, if imp make some dirty trick.
