Bostar nods and follows along, Anai's daughter falling in alongside, as they head to the council chamber. Inside, she sees a long table decorated with a map of Nane and its surroundings. Bostar gets to business, walking to the table and pointing at a spot near the edge. "That's the main Roman supply dump. No army can survive without its supplies, so I suggest we commit to a raid."
This time Ivyari's arrow hit one of the shields. "Not when they have scorpions and Celtic archers to counter." The woman shook her head as she run into the fray, cutting several gladiators.
The burly soldier nods, amd his men stay by their horses. "You're brave, for a Roman, boy." The man lifts his shield and spear. The Carthaginian moves steadily, not seeing any need to rush, using his spear to jab at Aulus from a safe range.
Anai nodded. This was along with her thoughts. But not enough. "That is a good first step, but not enough. The Roman fleet will quickly deliver the troops additional supplies. " She looked at the general. "We need Quintus dead - without their leader, the Romans will fall back and we shall gain enough time to prepare for the next wave." What she meant was to negotiate with Rome.
Aulus chuckled, 'Brave or foolhardy, I suppose we will find out.' Aulus raised his shield and unsheathed his gladius. Blocking the Carthaginians attempted with his spear, Aulus tried to find the right moment to move in past the spear point, where his sword held the advantage.
Pesca stands like a statue as the priestess touches him, neither relenting to her advances, nor rejecting them. "Governor Anai once thought that my own defeat was inevitable. She bears my child as a living symbol of her mistake. She won't underestimate me this time, which makes her dangerous." Pesca sighs. "You're right, we'll win eventually, but if we're careless, priestess, the losses we take could sour the victory."
"Maybe, that is why we are tribe and not country. This island is too small for proper horse riding." She said and send next arrows. "Why we ewen fighting here? There is no way that city would defend themselves after two years of fight. When Rome block the coast and port, it will be only a matter of time before we fall."
"She might not underestimate you, General." The woman leaned on Quintus's shoulder. "As she should. But that doesn't mean she will pay attention to... other things. The blade might come from the other side, general." She moved her lips to his ear and whispered. "One, she does not look to."
"A nice idea, but assassinating a general in the middle of his camp is far from easy, ma'am." Bostar grunts. "I assume you have some sort of plan?" His tone is just short of insubordinate.
As she loses another arrow, it hits the man's shoulder. He turned to look at Ivyari and charged at her, two of his companions at his side.
Aulus' large shield manages to absorb the repeat jabs from the spearpoint, but the Carthaginian is good, not giving many openings. Finally, the enemy soldier changes his plan, feinting yet another thrust, before charging forward, using his superior strength to shove Aulus down. - The young Roman spots an opportunity to slash his opponent's leg, but if he misses, he risks having his sword taken away. - He could also get into a shoving match with the Carthaginian. If he wins, he'll have a clear opening at the man's vitals, but if he loses, he'll be shoved to the ground and be far less capable of self-defence.
Ivyari take another arrow and shoot it on the closest enemy, as she taken next she made few steps back and shoot again in the next one.
"I have a plan. I have sent an assassin posting as a traitor to his camp." She also had a backup plan. Anai nods, then glance to Taia, giving her a slight nod, then looks at Bostar. His insubordination might be a problem. "General Bostar, I understand that you are dissatisfied with me. But we can't allow ourselves for divisions now. Our very own lives depend on it." She leaned against the table, facing the Carthaginian. "So, to quell your anger for me, you can do what you want with me - while we are in this chamber. Will that make you more... cooperative, general?" She asked as she trailed her finger alongside her clavage.
The first arrow lodges in ma's chest - but he ignores it. The second arrow hit's the other man in the neck, making him collapse, with a gurgle. Ivyari had no time to notch another arrow - her enemies were upon her.
Amazon woman left her bow and take her sword. In other hand she hold arrow like a knife, and without wasting any time she attack she use sword to push away weapon of closer gladiator and stab him in the face by arrow.
The woman smiles as she steps into the general's comfort zone. "It is true, that Anai is a cuning opponent. She is a glue, that keeps the city together. But it's also a weakness, without her, the city would fall apart. She is also has a fatal weakness you can use." She put her hand on the man's chin. "You said it yourself, deer general - she paid the price of underestimating you... Taia, your daughter - use her." Flavia smirked wickedly. "Tell her you will adopt her, if she brings Anai's head. With Anai dead, the city will be yours."
{Doing Legolas?} She thrust her arrow, but it hit the helmet and broken. Luckily for Ivyari, the broken would lodged into the man's eye. He screamed and fell on his knees. Before she could do anything, the female gladiator was upon her, swinging her hammer, knife in her other hand. She wilded both mid and short-range weapons. Holding only a sword Ivyari could -keep her distance, hoping someone would come to her aid, extend the fight. -attack and come into close quarters. This would surprise the woman, but the knife was quite dangerous in her hand. -fight mid-range, keeping her distance and dodging, hoping to get a hit after one of swings. But if she was hit by the hammer, it would be quite painful.
Aulus clashed shields with the Carthaginian brute. He had managed to close the distance, with the opponent using a spear, it should be his advantage now. He used all his strength against the other man, but as he did, he attempted to stab his gladius around his shield and behind his enemies' shield.
Taia appraches the general from behind, hands moving around his waist and sliding down his armour as she presses herself against him. The Carthaginian looks at Anai with lust, though he maintains his resolve. "I'm a servant of Carthage. I-ugh..." He grunts as Taia begins to slide a hand up his thigh. "I don't need to be bribed with sex. I'll do my duty regardless."
