Right, I'm not in favour of getting another body now, I don't think we need it. Identify the items, then I want to look into the next domain, but unless it is Lydia (if I remember the names correctly) I want to go back and open the big door.

 

That went well.

But yeah, I don't think we need to bring Alide back right away. Sally and Maple can probably build something much better then a lame golem anyway.

Incidentally...wouldn't the same system work to safe...what's his name Del?

We obviously would need another Soul Taker but I imagine either Sally or Maple would take the curse for that one.

Anyways, it something to consider after we are done with everything. Probably not wise to load everyone up with curses before the final battle.

Beyond that, yep the usual stuff, identify our new items and then it's time to see what's in that special door.

 

Let's check the reward now. Then we can decide if we want to go through Alide's domain or wander around first.

 

Sounds like a tricky situation! The Tower’s restrictions definitely complicate things, and yeah, tossing curses around feels risky. Maybe focus on the Soul Taker/Jar decision first and hold off on the Golem, exploring other Domains for tech or monster-based solutions could open up better options. Flexibility’s key here.

 

It's lucky the one item plan did work. I do love how the crazy plans will actually work.

Huh? That was not what I was expecting. Can we pick later if we want?

The ring of sanctity could be very intresting, for example Yulia has 6 things (including 2 the cancel out, and being pregnant) listed as status effects, but things like being undead may also qualify. Testing it on Sally (for positive effects) and Talwa (for negative effects) might be an idea if we think Yulia using it is too risky.

As for what items, things that are more valuable the earlier you get them, so anything scaling to start. Conquerer's promise or wall of sacrifice for example. Then things that are useful and versatile, Maple's tech armor (for conversion) or Alide's bow (or ring of sanctity). Combo pieces also work, such as plasma rifle with Maple's armour (infinite shots). Anything that can heavily skew a fight is also good because it can open up options that might otherwise be rather hard, mirror shield or Yulia's cloak. Finally we have the archdeamon of gifts right there, we can have some demonic items generated and sent without cost to ourselves, if curses are indeed status effects this could combo very well with Alide's ring.

So, if we can deposit some and come back and the ring does prevent curses, let's do the ring of sanctity and a bunch of useful demonic items (and bring Maple's tech armor later). If we can come back but only deposit once, let's come back later. If we must deposit now and the ring cancels curses, let's go with the ring and bunch of demonic items plus the tech armor. If the ring doesn't cancel curses and we have to deposit now, let's do tech armour, plasma rifle, conquerer's promise, wall of sacrifice.

After that, let's head down Alide's path to the end. Keeping an eye out for traps.

 

Slayers handbow sounds great on Lri and would compliment her stealth setup nicely

Ring of Sanctity is a bit of a double edged sword but if curses counts as status effect...I probably don't have to tell you that we have a huge exploit on our hand lol

Sadly the only person with a curse right now is Dahlia, we could test it on her, but given that this is, well, Dahlia that's a bit risky

Another question would be how exactly the ring works, for example, would it immediately restore Beck's mind? Or would the build up effects still last. There's also a chance that it removes the potion entirely, which would kinda suck.

For now, I'd say we give the ring to Goma. It's not terribly useful on her, but Yulia has too much good stuff on here to chance it. Let alone the whole undeath issue

As for what to send to the future chosen, I'm against sending anything that will make our current journey more difficult. Meaning we should go with items that basically have become obsolete


Also, I'm currently checking the characters and I noticed, is Goma still running around in swim trunks? XD I guess we had her change in the desert but yeah, time to suit up again.

Grenade Launcher
Grenade Bandolier
Silver Ingot
Yulia's panties

 

Goma has a curse, it's not doing anything, but it is there.

Anyway, I have a fun idea. I don't think we can send a person (even enslaved), but we could send the soul jar and a body, so an Alide starter kit.

 

Oh my god! You evil genius! Sending her panties away is clearly the most optimal option! Think about the morale boost from getting a pair of panties from the chosen that completed the tower before you!

 

I actually toyed around with that idea, lol. Issue is that Alide isn't a companion, so she has no obligation to help the new chosen

What curse are you referring? I think "incensed" just is a regular status effect

 

Goma did also have a curse from learning Puppet, but... arriving on the final floor had a reset effect and removed a lot of permanent curses and debuffs including Goma and Yulia's atrophy curses.

 

That's the one I meant. I didn't realise it had been removed (or more likely forgot).

 

I agree with Gambio on sending the grenade launcher and bandolier, they're obsolete for us but would be super useful on the early floors. My one issue with sending Yulia's panties is that one of the Tower Functionaries (is Dahlia allowed to tell us which one?) wants the panties of important Tower residents like the Siren Queen and by this point Yulia *might* qualify, after all she has defeated an Archdemon and vacated two Tower Functionary slots (or, technically two of each since Dahlia counts as both) and also Malia exists meaning these are kind of her panties too. As for the consumable, the funniest option is a jug of Lemiel's milk.

Part of me wants to recommend the Weight of Righteous Justice because it'll be useless on this floor and would be super useful on the next run. Plus it'd be funny to hunt down more Archdemons. But the next Chosen might be the type to side with the Tower Below, so a weapon that isn't picky with its targets like the grenade launcher is probably better. Would it be possible to create multiple sets of items and leave the Weight for a third Chosen? It'd be a real shame if the next Chosen (Chosen 2) went down early and we lost out on this feature after all the work it took to get here.

 

There's also Conquerer's Promise, since it doesn't seem like it's going to get many battle levels ups before Yulia's done, but it might be really good for a new Chosen.

 

Newest Chapter: Until there is a clear unanimous choice for such an important decision it will not be finalized.

 

No answer to if the ring counters curses.

OK, I think our non-cursed option is grenade launcher and bandolier, armour I still like sending the converter tech armour but sending Goma's armour could also be a good and cheaper option (and make Goma happy). Is a shield a separate item type? If so send wall of sacrifice, it needs some time we don't have to build up. What about spell books, consumables or something else entirety? We don't have any to hand, but we can send a demonic one and we know those are good.

For finding out if the ring works on curses, we could get Alide a golum body and test it on whoever take the curse. Shame we didn't find our from Alide before killing her if she was cursed. I am keen to try that option because it is easily the cheapest way of packing in the most power. If we are prepared to wait we could try it on Alide (or just ask) after getting a different body.

So, wait (so head down Alide's path) or make a golum body and test it that way.
