Well, sower baby is not good... But not sure what we could do about that.

Dwarf artist is long gone... We could search but this feels like possibly a waste of time. Do we need to just guess what an artist would do to be immune? Is it the imagination part? Coffee? Paint fumes? A history lesson might help.

I'm kind of lost on the way forward this time.

I suppose we go to that Dwarf Museum?

Not much more to say here

Let's do this: We should look for this museum, see if some of the dwarves are is up on display. Ask around and see if there is anyone who knows of the dwarf who entered the dream long ago.

If we find the "weapon" then we prepare with Liloth on the plan of attack. If not, then let's next talk to the mayor and see if he has any information. We now know the mimics do not pass information back to the Old Mind so getting answers should still be truthful regardless of who we really are speaking to.

Should all of this bust... I guess asking around the bar could be our final attempt. Try and see if there are street artists perhaps?

I mean, I didn't even looked at it as a riddle. I thought we where firmly still in the information gathering phase lol

Hm, yeah I feel like at this point the floor has definitely overstayed its welcome.

Alright, I struggle to find the proper words for this, because believe it or not, I do have a hard time criticising stuff(ha)

But I am having trouble staying invested in the current Old Mind questline.

I can't really put my finger on what exactly it is. Might be the fact how much the dream path has screwed us over already, or might be our dwindling ressources in addition to Yulias mana problems.

A part of it is definitely major regret about some of the decisions I made (should have bloody insisted on that puppet)

It sucks, because I know engin was looking forward to this part, but it's just not doing anything for me.

Well that's a shame, also in terms of hint, well... You already know everything you need to know. You were previously told about this artist and about a strange object with a seemingly mundane usage that they were connected with.

To add to Gambio. This floor has been tough. I've been bummed out at it seeming like a dead end. I'm very glad you game us as many chances as you have since I feel we've made the wrong choices each time. It's frustrating as player, but the story is good since it has that struggle element. I love being apart of this story, don't think this still isn't great! It's just we're out of ideas and it feels really bad for us since we are supposed to guide and we can't do that right now.

I agree with Gambio I didn't realize this was a riddle... but I also have no idea what that hint is supposed to mean. I looked back at the posts but I have no idea what artist we learned of or what mundane item there was. If you mean Liloth just now... that didn't really tell us anything? Artists us paint, brushes, coffee, hipster stuff, idk. If he walked into the dream first, then it had to be something he did before or brought but I have absolutely zero idea what that could be. This is maybe part of the reason we are frustrated as players right now, we have no idea what to do right now. Your hint just sounded exactly like Liloth in game and told us nothing as far as i'm aware. We don't know this artist, we don't know about any mundane items.

Think that link is wrong, but how in the world did you find that! Good work Gambio, let's go get it!

    here is the correct link:

Definitely wasn't my first choice, I actually was searching for the sex shop chapter when I remembered that Li was somewhat suspicious and that this is still a loose thread.

Great Work Gambio. Also, yeah I'm glad you are still enjoying yourself at least, I am sorry this floor has been so frustrating, while obviously difficulty is only going to get worse from here I do also promise that in most cases at least, things will be more straightforward from here on out.

Newest Post: Li and the Illustone

With everything stated so far, I am a little remiss about this fight. I know you would prefer to just be able to grab the Illustone and continue on, but... I am determined to have the story play out as it's supposed too.

It's a good idea to stick to the story, no hard feeling there. But this seems tricky for sure.

Ok we have a aerial fight on our hands, luckily it doesn't seem to be using anything ranged but that could change. Goma, sound the horn then prepare to heal anyone who gets injured. Everyone get closer together should he either have a ranged projectile or do fly-bys. If he starts casting magic then separate a little in case it's an area spell. Yulia cast Blizzard on the ceiling, make this thing have to get closer to the ground and within spear range. I'd like an undermine, but that is the only spell she could use right now and using a mana potion feels like a bad move since we will need them later. With the remaining mana prepare to use an icicle attack if an opportunity shows up.

Cherchiel do NOT use the mask. This is an Imp from the Tower below and may have seduction or lust magic. We need clear heads and your grace will be more than enough to hurt him. With your strength, as long as you feel good at throwing, you can use the throwing daggers to attack him in the air. Isalia you should be prepared to intercept and block his attacks with your shield, do not worry about counter attacking, leave that to Yulia and Cherchiel with their poking weapons.

If he remains in the air and we run out of daggers or magic then first try a poison gas grenade, thrown by Cherchiel to shatter it on the roof with her strength. If this seems like a poor idea then a mana potion with undermine may make him lose flight. Blizzard I feel should be enough of a deterrent since it could eventually tire him to exhaustion and fall.

If he lands immediately then I want everyone surrounding him, then attack from his blind spots. 4 on 1 is easy if everyone takes it slow and pokes him down.

Shit! Fuck! Argghhh! God damnit! Stupid Albino Goblin!

Alright, alright, I'm calm, I'm calm

Before we engage in battle with this oversized bat, I feel we need to consider our overall strategy for making it trough this floor, because the way I see it, we are very quickly running out of options

I think we have three ways to progress

Strategy I: Fuck this shit I'm out.

We just abandon the whole Old Mind stick, head out to the Monarch Throne and hope that we have enough resources to beat the floor boss. We might get away with not fighting the Albino Goblin this way. Unless the fucking thing is suicidal it shouldn't have a problem with us just moving on.

    Strategy II. Supply procurring

We fight the albino goblin, then head back up to Liloth and engage in some good old fashioned divide and conquer. Ask her to provide us with supplies. If she wants us to fight this proxy war for her, she needs to fork over some good stuff. This is a risk, Liloth might just say no, in which case we are probably fucked, but given that Liloth has now the Old Mind and (probably) a Demon against her, its in her best interest to make sure we don't croak. We need Mana potions and some bombs would be good too. Also, since she has no use for puppet might as well fork that over as well. If we go with this strategy I'd say we go all out on the Albino Goblin

    Strategy III: Kill Liloth

We could always just kill Liloth, loot her house and then give Puppet to the Old MInd. Since this is what the Albino bat wants, he's probably fine with letting us go. I'm not a fan of this strategy, but I'm putting it out as an option.

Personally, I'm in favor of Strategy II, all of them are risky but failure here is not an option. If we don't get that illustone we won't be able to defeat the Old Mind plus whatever penalty we get for losing. That would probably be a game over as I don't see how the hell we are defeating the floor boss in our weakened state.

Strat 1: Could work, but this means all the negatives we gained will make the final fight almost impossible.

Strat 3: That ship sailed away I think. We could have fought Liloth before and full strength but it just didn't work out that way. Doing so now is just as bad as fighting the boss, but maybe worse since we know she can control someone and that would be really bad.

Strat 2: This is the path we chose I think. Old Mind seems unreasonable and we have, for the first time, a clear advantage. After Albino bat's monologue I'm actually trusting Liloth a lot more. Her work is trying to be undone by the Tower Below then that means she was truthful I feel. She wants what's best for her people and that means helping us. We could ask for help, but personally doing something because it's right then asking for help after always feels better to me.

Also I don't think this bat will be too bad after my battle strategy... hopefully

Your strategy is sound, my main issue is that we simply don't know how strong that thing is. In general Imps shouldn't be too powerful andrely on trickery instead. The problem is that our ranged arsenal is very limited here, so I worry about our damage output

Actually, might it be prudent to retreat to the Illustone tunnel?

We currently are in a huge cavern, which gives the Imp plenty of maneuverability, but that shouldn't be the case in the tunnel. Granted, there is a chance that the imp just camps in the cavern instead of following us. But might be worth a try at least.

Alright, feels like I should clarify, I am for trying to lure the Imp into the Illustone tunnel in order to better fight him. Beyond that I agree with Wariders strategy.
