My bad, I didn't word my question properly. I meant to say "Someone ask what the previous Chosen's name is." Maybe one of the Sirens or Mermaids gathered here knows, since they're presumably the elite forces and personal guards of the leaders. I was hoping we could fix things up on this floor, but at this point I'm inclined to agree with Gambio that we need to focus on ourselves. Rather than trying to fight the winner (and presumably her forces) it might be best to take the scepter and leave. Between the scepter and some explosives, I think we should be able to take down the Leviathan as things stand. Although, while my vote is in favor of leaving now, if we decide to fight the winner we have one advantage to keep in mind: We can use Identify. Now that we know what specifically the artifacts are (the Queen's cloak and the Goddesses' veil) we can Identify them so we can't be blindsided by their effects.
You know, I can appreciate the leaders actually duking it out themselves. Using the scepter would prevent us from having to fight their forces. I know this will come across as me just flip flopping but the fact the two are now going at each other does pose a new risk. Namely that one of them gets access to both artifacts. If said winner then comes after us to get the scepter, depending on what the artificats do, having two of them might be a pretty strong advantage In that case finishing the job here might be better when both of them are exhausted from battling each other. That would mean jumping in just as one is about to kill the other. Ideally I would like to keep both of them alive for the hostage exchange swap.
Honestly. Both of these ladies are much more vulnerable than you think. Tell goma to hold Siren Queen in place for split of a second and Goddess will obliterate her in an instant. There is no indication where caster of puppet is so Goddess won't realize what happened to the Siren Queen. That cloak goddess wears might stop puppet from working on her though. Goma could try casting it on the Goddess first to see if it works, Hold her still so Siren Queen cracks her shield wide open. And when one of them finally wins, just hold them in place with puppet again and crush them in a single strike. Make these two ladies realize that as long as they fight, they are in danger. Who knows until someone else takes advantage of their fighting and make everyone suffer. Who might be waiting for them to exhause themselves with their silly war? Humiliate them both for putting their people in brave danger. The moment Levateinn stops preventing other Archons from entering, they will all be enslaved or worse.
Newest Post: Yulia might get to be the rapist instead of the victim for once... Though how she'd feel about it later is anyone's guess.
I'll probably be out voted on this, but I really don't think we should take advantage of the Queen and Goddess. We've taken their Artifacts, which will weaken their rule. I think it would be best to try and emulate our predecessor and not use victory as an excuse to rape the defeated. Isn't that part of what Lri wanted to change? I still think we should simply allow them to be imprisoned by the other faction. But before we do anything, please ask the Queen and Goddess what the previous Chosen's name was, since they both interacted with her directly. If my theory is right, this is something Yulia needs to know.
It sounds llike Yulia is not enthusiastic about raping the defeated. So maybe we should listen to her for once and not rape the defeated. Let them remain as hostages.
damn, psycho voice saved the day for once. Alright, first things first, we gotta loot Queenie and Goddess. Their artifacts of course but Queenie also has a nice spear that might be perfect for Lri Basically lets just strip them naked. Since the goddess was injured we might wanna heal her. If any of the two mucks up we can always cast undermine/puppet to keep them at bay As much as I love the idea of getting two sex slaves, how would the logistics of that work out? We can't really treck through the towers with two prisoners in tow, and these two will betray us at the earliest possibility I'm against killing them as well, sends the wrong message. that leaves the hostage option. First we should have the two officially declare an end to hostilities and a pact of friendship. Lets have Queenie and Goddess make out with each other to demonstrate their goodwill(Goma feel free to speed matters along if they prove uncooperative) After, we hand over queenie to the mermaids and Goddess to the Siren. Maybe they can be brought together every few months in fishpeople castle to renew their oath of friendship And speaking of the fishpeople...might not be a bad idea to use them as a buffer state instead of dealing with the headache of trying to split them up. As long as Mermaids and Sirens are allied they won't pose a threat and their existence will be another pillar for peace
I'm disappointed by the distinct lack of lesbian hate sex! I have absolutely nothing to say on the whole predecessor/traitor angle, so this is all yours, Emmie. It's nice that you are so eager, Yulia but we have a shitload of loot to distribute before that. I don't think we ever identified the scepter so we should do that first, I mean we know what it does basically but it still can't hurt to get the whole picture and since Yulia napped a truckload of stuff we need identify on Binding Bandages, golden bangles, silk gloves, Siren Queen's black heavy armor, and especially black bikini bottoms. I'm very sorry XD "The Cloak of Turbulent Waves, a cloak that grants the wearer immunity from ranged attacks, both magical and physical. This only works against projected attacks however, something like a whip will not be affected, but arrows, bullets, javelins and magical bolts or beams will be," is returned in regards to the Siren Queen's cloak. While I would love to give this to Lri, for thematic reasons, I can't help but feel that Yulia is better suited for it. Yulia is our magic nuke, but sucks in the defense department. If Yulia is knocked out we suffer a massive decrease in fighting strength, as such I feel this extra protection is warranted "The Veil of Hidden Depths, a veil that grants it's wearer the ability to become invisible. While invisible any interaction made against another creature will break the invisibility be it physical, magical or even just an intended gesture such as blowing a kiss or winking at someone. Attempting to speak also breaks invisibility," Now this is something I like to have on Lri. While useless so far, Lri is an ambusher, with this we probably can have her sneak behind enemy lines and conduct sneakstrikes Also we kinda neglected it but we should distribute the sword of envy as well(Incidentally the sword wasn't added to our item list) ""The Blade of Envy, a demonic heirloom. Levateinn's prized weapon, given only to those she trusts. It is a powerful blade on it's own. Comparable to the highest quality swords, but it's true worth is in it's enchantment. With focus the wielder can force the envious thoughts of someone to boil over, often turning them against their comrades. Even the most simple and inauspicious bits of envious desire can be forced into a traitorous rage. The blade's only downside is it has no effect on those who feel absolutely no envy and the wielder has no control over the actions of the affected once the affect takes place. The result can be... detrimental to the user, the demonic taint of the weapon causes the wielder to experience increased envy as well, though not as much as the spell on the blade infers to the target," I like to give this one to Isalia, snce she was somewhat neglected this floor. And yes, I realize that given her a sword of envy doesn't exactly help that but I do believe the weapon is most suited for her. Our angels probably aren't to keen on a demonic weapon and the rest of the party has other jobs. phew, as for the rest of the items, we have to identify them first before making a decision. So, yeah unless engin wants to do this out of story this will be a two parter.
I thought I had cracked the code. To be fair, I did say it was a wild crackpot theory. (I thought that the previous Chosen was somehow the goddess Yulia worshipped.) But getting some more concrete info is still good, especially since this traitor is still out there. The fact that the Goddess and Queen only know of the traitor by reputation means she probably joined Elena on one of the upcoming floors. Although… I’ll save my full speculations for when we’re climbing to the next floor since that’ll happen soon, but I will make a note for the future that we should ask around about Elena and this traitor going forward. I agree with giving the cloak to Yulia and the veil to Lri, but I disagree with giving the sword to Isalia. I don’t think we should use it at all, and just trade it in to Alide on the next floor. I don’t think the effect is worth the trade off when Puppet does the same thing but better. We should use Identify on the remaining stuff as Gambio suggested, but unless something has a crazy ability I don’t think we should worry about distributing it before fighting the Leviathan. Let’s save that for the climb up the stairs rather than dragging this out. As for Leviathan, I think we have everything we need. I suggest we give the Scepter to Lri (who is most familiar with underwater combat) or Goma (a skilled mage in her own right) based on which can get the most out of it. Their primary job would be to cancel out the Leviathan’s own water control abilities. But I also think we could use our two grenades well by using our own water control to force them down the throat of the Leviathan. It worked well against the Kraken. Yulia can be on magic artillery duty as per usual, and all of our frontline fighters can be on hand to charge in once we’ve used the two grenades. I think it’s fine to use both since we’ll be getting a new one after this fight.
I agree with Miss-Emmie that using The Blade of Envy is not something we should use. especially, if we can trade it for something useful later.
What? Nah... It's totally there... Has been all along... I definitely didn't just go and edit it into every post since Aqua's death to now or anything! Also I apologize for the lack of lesbian hate sex.
I can understand the concern regarding the blade of envy. I don't think we absolutely need it, altough I would still like to know the damage output on that thing. I do however still think we should gear up properly to the best of our ability. This is the floor boss after all, we shouldn't take it lightly.
When you say damage output... You mean like the -modifier? In the hands of say Cherchiel it would be about a -8 but would also have an extra -0 to -10 for the effect depending on factors during the fight. For Yulia or Goma it would be about -3 with the same 0-10 effect and Isalia or Lri would have -5 with the extra modifier.
Ah got it, yeah that small increase is probably not worth to deal with the hassle that weapon brings It's still worth to keep it in might if we ever come across an enemy that really warrants us to go all out
Nooo! These panties might be part of a quest! What if we come across a pervert somewhere down the line and provides us with a super awesome item for these panties? We absolutely need to keep them. I also hope we find some proper magic panties for Yulia to wear. I'm a big fan of them. I'm honestly having fun with this floor so I'm not sure what's the big rush we are only on here since LAST DECEMBER! We have officially overtaken floor five in length wise but surprisingly enough I found this one much more enjoyable. I guess you could say it had a nice...pfft...flow. yeah looks like this stuff is mostly junk, eh might be worth it to trade for something Before we go I just want to clarify one thing: Will we have our equipment once we depart this floor? If I remember correctly most of our armor is deposited at the swimsuit shack and once we kill the boss we are body conrolled of the floor, would suck to leave it all behind. Besides that, I do think it's time to move on. I imagine we are getting one more post before the actual battle against floor boss?
Why hold off any longer? We’re armed to the teeth, and while the scepter will just be an ordinary staff on subsequent floors, it should be very effective in handling the Leviathan. I stand by my tactics I posted before, I think we’re ready for this. I will add one thing: before beginning the fight, it might be worth having Goma try to command the Leviathan to stay out of our way using the scepter. We won’t lose anything by trying it and we may be able to skip the fight outright like we did on the fifth floor.
