Oops I forgot about the identify...

    The Dome Helmet:

"Fishbowl of Illusions, when worn it gives the wearer access to a magic spell that they cannot learn or retain while the helmet is not worn. The spell is as follows:

"Illusion, Mastered, cost: 10% create an illusion of any object or person, the illusion cannot move, speak and is not solid, but opponents who do not have a specific ability to see through illusions will believe it to be real unless proven otherwise."\

    The red tinged sword:

"Blood Drinker, a sword that upon cutting a foe heals the wielder and applies a debuff to the injured target in the form of a bleeding wound that will not stop bleeding until healed via magical means"

I think Lri would be my first choice for both of these. (The fish needs a bowl) I mean the illusion magic seems like it'd be a real boon for our ambusher, and she's probably the one who'd adapt to it fastest. As for the sword, I could see it being good for either Isalia or Lri, but Isalia has the Life Drink spell. (ALso the leech mask and this new sword would've made for a nasty combo, but the tradeoffs to the mask are far too high for me to give it to anyone, so I'm relieved we won't be tempted.)

Not handing the fish bowl to Lri definitely feels wrong.

And the weapon sounds perfect for her as well given her ambushy nature, I would have her hand the daggers over to Goma since she could use a weapon with a bit more damage output

Alright, first things first I'd like to cast Identify on the manager to see what we are dealing with

General things: Since the thing is the manager we should assume that it can work the store and the most immediate concern with this is that it turns off the lights, blinding us in the process. The fact that it shuttered the doors and windows makes this very likely. We have very little to counter that except Yulia's fireball so if it comes to that just torch the whole place.

Yulia: Cast energize on Cherchiel, Isalia, Goma, Lri and Lemiel, then undermine on the director followed by Blizzard and Icicle, fireball and force lance If I didn't screw up my math this should drain your mana completely. I authorize the use of one mana potion if you need it to cast more fireballs and bring some light in.
Cherchiel: turn into Boarchiel and rip and tear until its done
Goma: sound the horn, and see if we can screw up the manager with puppet. If he cuts the lights out try to get them back on with puppet. Beyond that I like you to use the ritual knife for this fight and cut anyone loose that got captured
Isalia: We really need to find a proper role for you one of these days, for now focus on defending Yulia, this might however be your time to shine if my darkness theory turns out to be correct, if that happens we need you to give the group direction on where the enemy is.
Lri: use fishbowl to create an illusion and then lets try the cut tracks strategy while invisible
Lemiel: summon your twin magic blades and hit that thing with angelic rays, use heavenly soothing when we need the heal
Maple: stand back and cheer them on!

Obviously depending on what Identify shows we should adjust our strategy.

No, I have no idea why my text suddenly got small.

Yulia should pick suitably flammable target for the fireball first before lights are cut so that we can have some illumination and possibly distract the Director with having to deal with the fire.

I agree with the distribution of the new items and trying to cut the tracks.

Do not read below this until you've read the chapter

I realized something while writing this post and I'm going to be very nice here though it might not seem like it. This is surprisingly the first time you've run into something that fully destroys equipment. With some exceptions all of the armor worn by Isalia, Lemiel and Cherchiel was destroyed, which logically I realized should include Lemiel's visor, stripping her of all her powers, I am going to fudge it and say her visor remained on and undamaged, because that would be too evil. I'm sorry about the rest of this though.

    Woo! There's my boy!
I felt like Yulia didn't have her cute ass whipped for way too long, so I was rooting for that devious bot to show the girls who is the boss!
Not disappointed in the least. That thing was smart, powerful and a freaking beast. I am firmly on the team Manager.

And the draaamaa! We finally have some drama in this bitch! The tension! The tragedy!
Will Yulia lead the remains of her party to victory and free her friends or will she fail, losing her clothes, rest of her dignity and those few friends she has left?
(In case Yulia loses, she should totally get "experimented" on. Not everyday that you can do stuff to the chosen~ I feel that Sally is a curious soul that will see the advantages of testing Yulia's body before letting her rest in a stasis vat.)

Maybe if you want Lamiel to keep the visor then have it fall off her head when she gets grabbed and whipped raw, so Lri can snatch the visor up during retreat. I am cool if you want to just smudge it and make her keep the visor.

From now on, on thi level we should always ask first Maple about everything we are going to do.

True! Poor maple forgot there is a giant manager in the megastore and now 3 of our girls have red stripes all over their bodies.

The visor being destroyed or removed would be the problem, so I'm just gonna make it so the bot didn't bother with the visor, cause giving you Lemiel and then immediately removing all her powers would be cruel.

You could make the case that the Manager left the visor since Sally probably hasn't captured a fully powered Angel before, so it tried to leave her powers intact.

First of all, thanks for the save, Lri. We've got another chance thanks to you, and we've come back from a similar situation.

As with our loss to Aqua, this wasn't a complete defeat. We had a real shot at winning, we were just a bit unlucky. I know I said we should go back to Alide once we're done with this, but I have no idea what to get from her. Ask for a utility spell in the hopes it's something we can use? A new weapon that might be more effective? Part of the problem is that only Yulia and Lemiel have a real shot at damaging these enemies, and now we've lost Lemiel and most of the team. The one thing I'm really glad to still have is the Veil of Hidden Depths. We can use that to sneak around, either to steal things, gather information, or maybe even do some hacking with Maple.

For our next step, we should head over to Maple's workshop. We can use any resources we can get our hands on at this point. And it seems as good a place as any to plan our next step. Because it seems like our next big objective will have to be getting into the prison to bust out our party as well as Kel. But we can't rush straight in. Is there anything we could do, such as getting control of our own robots to help us? Maybe finding other isolated prisoners kept in plants and such? There's also the residential district that we haven't even gone to.

Now better be very, very careful Yulia~ You should make Maple tell you everything she knows about places you visit.

I doubt there are many enemies that can measure up to The Manager in strength. That bot was made to protect a huge shop filled to the brim with goodies and with external power source I bet.

I suspect Sally will try to blackmail you with your friends. Try to not lose cool when Sally gives you a video stream of Lamiel or Isalia penetrated by a giant tentacle while getting whipped raw, teheheh!~

I wish I could be more optimistic but you are fucked, Yulia. You are just soo fucked! You are only damage dealer left! Poor catgirl and Lri can't measure up.

If you ever get stunned, that's it. You will be hoisted up next to Maple and Lri, whipped and violated until you can only cry~ You will probably get off from that too, Dahlia made sure of that~ Maybe Sally will let you say goodbye and sorry to your friends before putting you inside the gel.

    ARGGHHH!

So I went over the calculations and I actually think you gave us +10 too much points since Boarchiel is counted as a +10 individually and as weapon and armor.

Well, on the bright side we got Lri and Yulia who have most of our important equipment. Oh, does that mean we lost the boar mask? Noooo! That thing carried us so hard.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

We definitely should head over to Alide next. Utility spell sounds like a decent choice. I don't think we will do much offensive fighting in our current composition.
We also should ask Maple if she can do anything with these robots we stored with Martin. Maybe she can make us some robot killing swords, that would certainly come in handy right about now.
And yeah, after we can head over to Maple's for our next step.

I think the first thing should be, as Miss-Emmie said, asking Maple to help us with resources she has or can acquire. Then we could see if Maple can help Marten to make us something useful against the robots on this level. We can deside what to get from Alide afte we see if we can get any new equipment from Marten.

I'll agree with Gambio and say we should just head to Alide now, and see what we can get. That way, we can potentially plan around whatever utility spell we get. The section on Alide's shop mentions Invisibility as a potential option, so I'm sure that even though it's random there are some useful spells we can get.

Normally I'd consider giving Cloak to Isalia or Goma so we don't have all our eggs in the Yulia basket, but given the circumstances it's a lucky pull. Lri keeps the Veil, and Yulia gets Cloak, and that should let us move around safely for now. It's good to know there's an enemy who is almost certainly stronger than the Manager waiting for us at the prison.

For now, I say we head to Maple's workshop, check in on Martin on the way and see if he can help her. He doesn't understand the tech here, but he's a very skilled blacksmith, so with a bit of guidance he'll probably make an excellent assistant.

(Also, I've been thinking about that last bit in the previous chapter, where something was placed inside of Isalia, Lemiel, and Cherchiel. Lemiel said "I can't hear them" but Isalia didn't, so I don't believe she was referring to us, the Voices. I think Sally has a way to sever Lemiel's connection to the Tower Above. She's likely trying to keep both the Tower Above and Tower Below out of this floor. Which makes me wonder if we can use that to our advantage...) Ask Alide if it's possible for us to summon Dahlia to this floor, if we can create some kind of connection to the Tower Below she can exploit? Maybe Ash's Quiver (which has been sitting in our inventory for ages) could help? I'm not sure if we SHOULD summon Dahlia to this floor, but I'd like to know every option we have at our disposal.

I want to give a bit of a fun hint here... There's a visible difference right now between Goma who didn't have one of those things placed in her and the others who did... That might give a hint what those things do >.>

I agree with Miss-Emmie here, checking on Marten and going to Maple's workshop seems to be a reasonable course of action. Also it would be good to know if we can summon Dahlia here in either of her capasities if needed.

An egg would be my guess but there are other more mechanical options still open.
