I believe it was covered that in an emergency like this the Tower allows the Voices to follow a companion.

Yeah, but I was referring to the fact that we have access to both Maple and Lri right now.

I was under the impression we had to choose who to follow and then stick to that character

Technically we're only following one companion, Maple, we just can also see Yulia.

I suspect Sally has some kind of countermeasure against us trying to doublecross her if we accept her deal, maybe by leaving some kind of device on our party members that will let her neutralize them like a shock collar. If we take this deal, we've basically given up on this floor. But Sally making this offer means, to me, that we've got a real shot of winning. We're at our lowest point at the moment, but we've bounced back from similar situations. I think we reject the deal.

Maple, you're not one for fighting, so focus on escaping with no regard for the cure being used as bait. I say we go back to my previous plan of having Lri infiltrate the store.

Yeah what Miss-Emmie said. You will never not have access to Yulia. If Lri and Maple went somewhere else you would be able to choose one of them and would then only know what happened to that one and Yulia. The other would be unseen.

Oh, another thing Maple: Tell Sally you want one more thing, and that's for her to unthaw Del long enough for the two of you to have one more conversation. As she processes that, make your break for it.

If we wanted to double cross someone, this floor would give us a decent change against Dreg if Del was willing to take over Sally warbots and help us. But I agree with Miss-Emmie's plan.

We have three healing kits. Using one on Yulia now to slow the illness should not be too bad.

Maple should know the workshop well. If there is any backdoor or similar entrance, sh should move toward it destroying the cameras as she goes, forcing the predator to come out if Sally wants to see what is going on.

Yulia has God's light, so she should, in theory, be fine, but I only now noticed that the disease is steadily progressing. No, reason to risk it I suppose so it's better to use a Healing Kit

Well, if there's a second entrance to the shop that would be the best way to go for an ambush. That's a big IF though.

At least making blind spot for Sally should help us if reinforcements arrive before we are out.

No worries Lehe, chapter came out fine.

Once Yulia is back up, I see three viable paths: 1. We go back to grab the metal plates from the last couple fights since we were in a hurry, maybe make more EMP grenades, and maybe play around with the item changer. 2. We head back to the super store to defeat The Manager so we can get another of the major upgrades. 3. We head to the prison to begin the jailbreak. I’m of the opinion we do 1, 2, and 3 in that order, but open to skipping steps.

Also Maple, great job using your back door to defeat Sally~

That worked better than I was expecting. Well done, Maple.

I think we should first re-equip, as Miss-Emmie said, and also get Maple's armour fixed. After seeing how much fixing Maple's armour requires we can decide whether to risk attacking the manager or skipping to the jailbreak right away.

I was contemplating just toughing it out with Yulia, but ultimately one heal kit wasn't exactly a big price to pay.

Looks like Yulia still needs a bit of time to recover, so this might be a good opportunity to check her body for any long lasting damages of this disease. Make sure to be thorough. In particular her response to erotic stimuli should be tested.

It looks like Maple needs a heal, so once Yulia is back to healthy again she can take care of that
After, we have a bunch of equipment to repair, so use the repair spell.

Finally, some more info on the conversion upgrade would be nice, chiefly what items we can make with the thing. Before we do anything I like to do some item management, depending what our options are

forgot completely about repair spell. Healing and repairing should, of course, be done first.

First, we have a pair of poison gas grenades in our inventory we can turn into spare EMP Grenades. We also have a syringe of poison and a vial of strong aerosalizing aphrodisiac, if those are also valid conversion targets for more EMP grenades.

The Manager is designed to prioritize magic users. So if Yulia steps in and begins casting, it'll try to close in on her like last time to grab with its many hands. We can use that to our advantage, throwing a pair of EMP grenades right into its path and firing with the laser rifles. After that, Yulia should go invisible and create an illusion to distract it while staying out of reach, and at the same time Lri and Maple will fire at the main body or the tracks depending on which is a better target. Dealing with the tracks will limit its mobility, creating safe zones for Yulia to fire off Force Lance to join in the assault.

I'm not to keen on fighting this thing given what happened last time, we are still down a lot of damage in our current situation

What it will come down to will ultimately be to just blast the thing with EMP grenades and our rifles, we need a lot of firepower, so this is no time for holding back. Turning whatever we can into EMP grenades is probably not a bad idea in this situation.

Yulia try to divert it's attention with an illusion then cast: Undermine, Blizzard, Icicle, Fireball and Force Lance, after that it's time to blast it with the rifle

Lri and Maple, you are both speed based so take a hit and run approach as you blast the thing. with your rifles. With your defenses of the suit and your speed you shouldn't get hit. After that just chug EMP grenades at it. No holding back here, losing is not an option.

I think it's very likely that the manager will go for Yulia here, he has to get close to do any damage thanks to the cloak and her non suit status makes her the perfect target. I thus like to use her as bait, to provide both Lri and Maple with an easy target. EMP grenades don't really do much damages to humans, so Yulia will be fine even if she does get hit.

We got the core and plates to replace equipment used for the EMP grenades and get Arcane Flux upgrade for Yulia to allow her to use magic with her armor on.

Entire store appeared to be some kind of illusion. I am curious about the door. Should we consider coming back after getting the upgrades done?
