Once she was sure the beast was dead, Mirellia let out a sigh. Looking around to see how her allies had fared, she sheathes her weapon while watching the portal.
"Too much magic... In too short time... I just have to paid... For use much potion and magic..." Trista said knowing she will suffer until her body detoxed hersellf, but she was able to walk again.
Looking around, she sees that all but one of the hounds are dead, the last one collapsed at the feet of the elf, and that the brown haired witcher seems to be in poor shape, Gustav helping her stand. Gustav nods sympathetically, knowing how she feels due to shared experiences as witchers. Slowly, the pain gets less potent.
Spotting one of the beast still alive, Mirellia prepares to move in just in case it gets the better of the elf.
Trista feels like she is going to vomit, but her body rebels like someone who really don't know what to do. She look at the staff of killed navigator. "Mage... I hope you will be able to create way back for us with this staff... I hope killing this guy won't go for nothing..." She said to elf.
"Understandable. I bring You his Head then, that should wash away all Your doubts. I need to prepare First. You have a Room for Me and My Partner over there?"
@unisol_gr44 Ard sees the noblewoman and the dark haired witcher approach him, and hears the witcher's question. Though he can't use the staff's power, the portal behind them is still open, and doesn't seem close to closing. The hound in front of him moves, trying to find its feet.
Trista steped closer to elf and stab hound in the jaw, to kill him before it will get up. She get tired of fighting.
Seeing his sister in pain Varrin made his way to where she was, to check on her and help her if necessary. Hopefully the rest of the people there would be able to handle the last remaining hound.
The last of the creatures stops moving, and finally, the chamber is silent. The only sound comes from the soft humming of the portal. Isabella leans against her brother, hugging him against her as she stands. "I-I'm fine, Varrin. Just need t-to catch my breath. A few too many spells in too short a time." She explains. @asddas193 Gustav looks at the portal. "I suppose we have little other choice but to go through. Still, though... I can't help but wonder what's on the other side. If it's the home of the Wild Hunt, it could be very dangerous."
She leads him into an elegant house in the center of the estate, but Lutz has little time to admire the architecture, as he's led down into a basement, and through a hidden door into a dungeon. There, a female elf hangs chained to the wall, looking more irritated than scared. "I need you to get information from her. You can't do any damage to her body, however. Are you up to the task?"
They're led to a bustling tavern, and upstairs. Clearly, they've been given one of the smallest rooms, a tiny space with two single beds.
"I concur. We either risk what's on the other side. Or die slowly in this world. I doubt we'll find anything edible here." Mirellia replied, looking at everyone to see their reaction.
“Since we don't know what awaits us on the other side it might be a good idea to take a short rest and recover our strength as much as we can.” Varrin suggested as she held Isabella close, helping her stand until she caught her breath.
Trista stand up, leaning on Gustav's shoulder to keep balance and not fall down. "But we don't know how much longer the portal will be able to let's us pass. It could be closed in any moment."
