The mage turns on a time, incinerating several of his attackers with Fire magic, but soon more attackers approach from behind. "Me fight?" Dog asks, waiting for Danielle's signal to attack. The count's men look to her as well.


Crossing to the other rooftop, she sees four more crossbowmen, and Ashton. The young noble stabs one of the inquisitors in the throat with his enhanced abilities, grinning with pride, but his look turns to a worried frown as two of the others draw swords and rush at him.

The remaining crossbow man fires a bolt directly at Mirellia.

“If you boys could lend a hand here, I’d aperricatte it.”

Growling as she saw the other man prepare to finish the job, Mirellia calculates whether or not she could make it to save her son. If the chances were too low, she stops and offers her life for his.

"I'm witcheress, but in the same time woman, so that should answer for your question." She gently punch him in the shoulder. "Lady have to keept her own secrets."

The men and troll nod, charging into the fray. What emerges is a furious melee as metal clashes against metal, Samuel's magic lights up the marketplace, and Dog's huge arms send inquisitors flying.

In the midst of the chaos, Danielle sees a young, thin inquisitor break from the melee, clearly unused to such violence. Seeing her, he panics and charges at her with a mace.

Given her enhanced speed and strength, Mirellia guesses that she can make it to her son. Whether she can do it before Ashton dies depends on whether the young man can defend himself. Mirellia judges that she has to decide whether she thinks Ashton has the skill to defend himself.

Gritting her teeth as she realized she should have trained Ashton more in defense, she figured he wouldn't be able to defend himself while pinned down. "Stop, let him go, and you can take me." Mirellia tries to negotiate, hopefully Ashton will be able to free himself, otherwise, she'll have to sacrifice herself for her son's safety.

Danielle was satisfied at seeing this go smoothly as it really could go. The inquistion clearly wasn't prepared for any backup and it was working their way through their numbers well. They just might make it through this. But as a surviving member made it's way through, she went on alert. If she disrupted the flow now to enhance herself it could end up killing everyone. If she didn't enhance herself...then she might only die with them. Having to keep her movements going while fighting wasn't going to be simple, but she had to hope one by himself wasn't too much of an issue. Her constantly changing movement at least made her not entirely easy to predict without her staying in one place for long. Over her head, she lifted her arm up and her sword with it, letting it extend into it's whip as she turned and lashed out with it. The range difference between their weapons might at least force him to keep his distance without getting too close, and with her constantly changing motions, she slowly began to use her whip just to force distance, but knowing where Gynnie was positioned, she aimed to put him out in the open and in her line of fire.

"Mother, no!" Ashton shouts and tries to free himself, but the swordsman facing Mirellia, realising that she isn't attacking, kicks the boy into unconsciousness. "Drop the sword. He ain't what we're here for, so we don't need to kill him."

Danielle isn't a skilled combatant, but her dancing skills allow her to move herself and her weapon in ways foreign to her attacker, the young man simply not able to predict where the whip blade will be. She hears the sound of a string buzzing, and an arrow appears in her attacker's skull.

Looking at the fight, she sees that the inquisitors are falling back, trying to escape the clutches of troll, mage and soldiers. As Samuel incinerates two unwise attackers, however, Danielle spots a man clad in black sneaking up behind her husband, blade in hand.

"Tsk." Clicking her tongue as her son was knocked unconscious, Mirellia drops her sword. Still glaring at the men, she looks for an oppurtunity to strike using her hidden stiletto knife, and witcher sign.

Trista whisper to Gustav, wraping arm around his shoulder.
"Wait. Let's pretend that we hear nothing, maybe it will show up this time. I'm tired of playing cat and mouse." She said, knowing if anything happen, they will be ready to fight in speed light.

The man on the ground keeps his dagger pointed at her son's throat, while the second moves to her cautiously to bind her arms with dimeterium shackles.

"Right." Gustav whispers back. As the two wait, she hears nothing for a few moments, until finally she hears footsteps approaching.

"Why not?" The man shackling her grins and walks behind her, as the one grappling Ashton stands up. "Everything down there might have been a fuck up, but at least we got something out of it." He gestures to the street. "Now, come with us. Try to escape or call out to your friends, and we'll kill you and come back for your son."

Trista wait as footsteps tell her, that person if few meters behind them and on her signal, both witchers will get up with the swords in hands.
"Finaly our stalker decided to show up. Who are you?" She asked.

"Kkh." Mirellia growled, but nods at their demand. She follows them to the street, hoping her son would at least be safe.

The sound Trista hears isn't speech, but a strange insectoid chittering. Soon, her eyes adjust to the darkness between the trees, and she sees it: A kikimore, far larger than the ones she fought a few weeks ago. The beast looks at her, drooling, but staying still.

"Forgive my pet." A voice sounds out, beside the creature, and a man enters the clearing, looking like some sort of mage.

@moonblack Varrin and his sister are interrupted as they hear the man enter the clearing, and see the shadow of something in the trees.
