The Witcher - Stories from The Path RP

@unisol_gr44 The sphere is made of a smooth metal, jet black, though now it shines with a white-blue light. The object pulses with energy, sending Ard's arm recoiling backwards, and sending a shockwave forwards into Verena's chest, painfully knocking her to the side.

As the two look up and recover, they see a portal on the shores of the lake, blue light on the edges of unknowable blackness.

As they look at it, Ard, Verena and Abigail all feel themselves being pulled towards the portal, as if it were a magnet, and they made out of metal.
Verena grabs onto a nearby Tree with both Hand.

"Turn that thing off whatever it is!" She shouts

She manages to shake the feeling, but as she does, she hears footsteps echoing from around the corner behind her.

"Tsk. It looks like we're being followed." Mirellia gave a hushed whisper, as she looks for a place to hide. And if she couldn't, she instead turns to another alley way, waiting to see what their pursuers were up to.

Trista turn around to siblings.
"Yes, he have a lot of luck to survive this, but I doubt he would managed to do it again. In short version, he tried to paid off debts of his lover, but Whoreson prefer to keept her." She said and get up.
"If you guys are ready, let's go to our contact. I have enough of waiting."
“We're ready.” Varrin assured the witcher. “Lead the way.”

(My replies will be slow today due to something that came up and I need to take care of.)

At the Passiflora, a large an elegant brothel, the group quickly finds their contact. Boris, a balding middle aged man, greets them "Well, well... You're the new guys? I've planned out your route through the sewers." He gestures to a map. "It's going to be dangerous, though. Plenty o' monsters down there."

The two of them find a cramped wardrobe, and manage to hide there, pressed together tightly. The footsteps thump outside, until they've passed by.

Once she was sure the pursuers were gone, Mirellia slowly exits the wardrobe. "Sorry about that, but I couldn't risk a fight breaking out while I'm ill equipped." She said as their breasts stop pressing against each other. She takes a look around to make sure no one else was following them, before leading Saria back to Gunther's estate to make sure the mage believed in the deal they made.

@Sabine Wren Abigail nods, walking towards the portal with him, the force pulling them in relenting as they move with it. As Verena watches, the pair disappear into the portal, while the Witcher still feels herself being pulled in towards the gateway.

Looking about, Ard sees nothing but blackness around him as he exits the portal, but eventually his eyes adjust, and the magical blue light from the gateway helps illuminate his surroundings somewhat, and he realises that he and Abigail are standing in the cellar of a building.
Ard looked around the cellar, 'A cellar? I hope the owner will not be too furious we came in uninvited.' He looked for any stairs or ladders up, before he turned to Abigail, 'Let us see where we have ended up.'

Trista look at map of servers and tried to remember it with map of Novigrad.
"Well, thank you. Do you know how many people know about these passage?" She asked and when get replide witcheress go to servers.

Saira manages to lead Mirellia back without too much issue, slipping out through a loading dock for the casino's supplies. Once they return to Gunther's, Saira talks with the mage about various magical implements, and Mirellia gets the impression that the man is satisfied.

She moves out of its range and stares at it, unsure what She is dealing it and what She could do in this Situation.
As she escapes the pull, Verena looks back at the portal. The magical energy still tugs at her a little, making her medallion jiggle slightly, but for the most part, she's free to move as she pleases. The portal remains for several minutes, and eventually begins to slowly close, inch by inch.

Heading up a small flight of stairs, Abigail cracks open the door at the top, a sliver of light shining through. On the other end of the door, Ard sees bookshelves, and thinks he might be in a library or bookshop of some sort.

@moonblack "About the sewers in general? Plenty. There's all sorts of smugglers and gangers use the tunnels. The specific tunnels leading to the vault, though? No one knows 'bout them but me." He pats his dagger. "The architect had 'em built in secret, probably thinking that he'd do a heist some day. Unfortunately for him and his workers, though, I spotted them digging the tunnels. None of them made it to the surface." He grins.

Ard opened the door and stepped out of the stairway to the cellar, looking around the room, 'Anybody home?'

Trista rise eyebrown for that, but she didn't commented. No suprise, that kind of people get know information.
"Alright, lead the way." She said, wanted to done this job as soon as possible.
