'I see I have you to thank for keeping such good care of it?' Ard smiled, 'It is good to see you again. Forgive me for the charade. Troubling times are afoot and I need to warn the king.'

"Thank you for the compliment, dear sister." Varrin smirked as well. "Now let's hear what our new friend has to say..." The two moved closer in order to be able to listen properly, but let Trista ask the questions for now.

Ard hadn't even finished the sentence before she runs into him, knocking him back a few steps, as she hugs him tight. "I knew you weren't dead! I knew it!" The tall elf fails to notice that she's pressing Ard's face into her cleavage as she hugs him, and Ard is pretty sure that if he didn't have armour on, her hug woukd be tight enough to squeeze the air from his lungs.

Approaching, he hears the elf say that they need a navigator to chart a course home for them.

Hearing the elf's answer, Mirellia shakes her head in disappointment. This means our only hope left is to help quel the upcoming rebellion. She thought to herself, as the siblings describe their missing sister. "Is there anyone else looking for Caranthir?" She asked, wanting to know if they should expect more company.

Ard wrapped his arms around her for a moment. His face pressed into her ample cleavage, Ard nearly didn't want to let go. But his arms coaxed her to relent a little, while he laughed, 'I am glad to see you again too, Evir'i, I missed you a lot. What a welcome.' He was glad to be wearing armour, because that hug certainly stirred his loins. Looking into Evir'i's eyes, he nearly wanted to kiss her.

She looks back at him, and though it's unclear how she'd react if he really did kiss her, it's obvious that her affection for him is immense. "Are you alright? Any wounds, sickness?" She begins to fuss over him. "Are you hungry? Why are you wearing armour? There's no one trying to hurt you, is there?"

"Some human slave, I guess. I don't know, I don't pay much attention to round ears." He speaks dismissively, but when Varrin gives a brief description of Madeline, there's a tiny twitch of recognition, and then a larger one when Varrin goes into more detail about what Madeline looks like. Again, he's clearly lying.

'I am doing alright, thanks for asking, I am glad to see you doing well too,' Ard smiled, really not used to anyone mothering him for quite some time, 'I need to get going again and quickly. Could you prepare some food and drink to take with me? Enough for a couple of people?' He ended their embrace and went to take his grandfather's sword, 'As I said, the king is in danger and I need to warn him. So yes, there are plenty of people who might try to hurt me. But I am a warrior, Evir'i, it is my lot in life.'

"You're lying," Varrin declared, feeling certain that the elf knew something about his sister. "You know something and you will tell us what." He demanded in a cold voice.

Evir'i reluctantly releases him, nodding. "I'll have the supplies prepared." She seems unsatisfied with his answer, but nods dutifully, not trying to prevent him from going. "Okay... Just... Come back, okay? And don't disappear for years!"

He sees the sword, an elegant but nonetheless deadly weapon, in a similar state to the armour.
