The Witcher - Stories from The Path RP

Verena sneaks up on The Beast from behind and slashes at one of his Feet with a Strong Swing downwards.
The silver sword digs deep into the creature's flesh, and it gives a roar. Turning quickly, the fiend slams Verena with one of its legs, and she goes flying backwards. Picking herself up, she feels that one of her ribs is broken.

Looking forwards, the witcher sees the fiend looking at her, stamping the ground as it prepares to charge

@asddas193 @Regin34 As they pass under the rock of Erzaram's Point, it begins. The familiar chill of ice magic reaches out, freezing the ground on its way to the column, as black clad horsemen descend from the heights.

Standing and leaping from his litter, the king casts a spell of his own, a small sun radiating from his hands and melting the ice as it approaches the column. That's the end of the magical display, however, as the riders of the Hunt begin to charge into the convoy. Ard, Trista and Mirellia see three horsemen riding hard directly at them.

With the king off the litter and in the middle of the fight, Varrin and Isabella stand as the only people protecting Madeline, the noblewoman tumbling as the slaves carrying her litter run away in panic and drop her. Looking up, the siblings see two riders charging towards the destroyed litter, eager to finish the job with their maces.
Trista decided to prepared ard, to push from the saddle rider who charge at her.

She gasps and holds her Chest with a Hand. She quickly casts a Yrden trap in front of her and provokes the Creature.

Ard drew his sword and, holding the reigns in his sword hand for a moment, he conjured up a ball of ice and launched it at the nearest horseman. The next moment, he spurred his horse to meet them head on.
The ice flies from Ard's hand, knocking the hunter backwards in his saddle and leaving him off guard.
Unsheathing his sword Varrin stood between Maddie and the riders and prepared to engage the two attackers. “Issie, can you make their horses suddenly stumble and fall down when they get close? That'll leave them vulnerable for a few moments, until they manage to recover from the fall.” And hopefully give him the time to kill at least one of them.
Isabella nods, and ice sprays from her hands to coat the ground, the sorceress apparently taking a page from the Wild Hunt's book. The horses slip, and go down with their riders.
Trista decided to prepared ard, to push from the saddle rider who charge at her.
Trista's shockwave blows forward, knocking the rider out of his saddle. The huntsman, smaller than most of his kind, is able to roll acrombatically as he hits the ground, and is up in a moment, lifting his sword.

Seizing the chance Varrin attacked the closer of the two fallen riders, trying to stab him through the slit in his helmet. If he could not get a clean enough strike he would aim for the rider's neck or another vulnerable part of the rider's armor. His goal was to kill the first enemy as quickly as possible, before the other one could recover and come to his ally's aid.

Ard rode past the stunned rider, slashing his sword across him as he went past at speed.

Varrin's sword slices through a chink in the armour. The noble gets the impression that he's wounded the man, but not killed him, but Isabella steps in to keep him off Varrin's back. This is useful, becaus the second elf rushes forward, swinging his mace at Varrin's head.

Ard's sword collides with the huntsman's breastplate, but Hunt armour is evidently as quality as ever, and the sword bounces off, though it does glance up and deliver a non-fatal cut under the opponent's helmet.

The rider reels around, pulling the reins to reengage.

Seeing three horsemen approaching, Mirellia figured they'll be taking on one each. And as her companions take the initiative, she copies the witcher, using the Aard sign to knock the rider off his horse.

Ard pulled his own horse around, staring down his opposite number. He conjured another ice spell, as he spurred his horse once more. Though, this time he aimed for the enemy horse's legs as he unleashed the spell.

The black armoured rider, wielding an axe, flies backwards as he's surprised by the spell. He recovers quickly, though, a looming figure in the black armour.

Trusting his sister to finish off the first rider Varrin focused on the second one. Side-stepping the enemy's attack the young man slashed at the rider's hands with his sword, trying to wound – or at least disarm – the opponent.

Sprinting forward, Verena's able to send her silver blade forth into the eye of the fiend, but it retaliates with a headbut that sends the witcher on her back. Angrily, the monster raises its head, preparing to impale the witcher with its horns.
Verena casts a strong Aard push that makes The Creatures head push upward. The quickly rolls Sideways and stabs into The Side of its neck, pulling the Sword trough his neck.

Seeing her opponent's heavy equipment, Mirellia uses her nimbleness to her advantage. She quickly gets into a stance, as she lunges to pierce the heavy elf's neck with her sword.

The horse's leg breaks, and the huntsman falls forward, sprawling on the ground.
