Defeating the boss generally compels the Chosen to move on to the next floor. Also no both of them will still have the lustful effect on the next floor.

So they can't have a break and take care of it? Well, in that case they can only climb up and chat. Take should use the chance to learn more about her new companion.

That fight was closer than I’d like, but we were close to guaranteeing victory. When we get the chance, we should test out the helmet and gauntlets combo in a fight, especially since we have a ranged dealer with healing magic.

I’ll second Take getting to know her new companion. She could also benefit from an introduction to the Tower Above and Tower Below as larger factions.

That was bit close, but the fight worked out in the end. It is good to have an ally.

Huh. Guess we found the secret third option. While we don’t have mana right now, I think we could retreat from a fight if necessary so let’s look to the right first. I want to get a better grasp of this floor before we take a rest (and deal with Dreg’s ‘protection’) and I suspect the right will lead to more angels (albeit ones fighting demons).

Remind me, can one of them stand guard while the other rests, or must they rest together?

In any case, I agree, some scouting of the Angel half of the floor might be good, to give us some idea what we're dealing with here.

    Secret third options are nice.

Scouting to the right works for me.

They can take turns sleeping, but having someone on watch doesn't prevent ambushes or encounters, just warns if one happens so it's not fullproof in the way Dreg's offer is.

Does the “adjusted” part still apply now that Take is on the next floor?

In any case I vote that they help by distracting one imp at the right time to allow the angel to take out the other. No need to actually fight the imps, a distraction should be enough. And considering that Malphiel is naked it should be easy to get the attention of the male imp...

Yeah, Moonblack’s plan sounds good. I’ll add that Take should find a spot a little away from Malphiel to hide so she can ambush the approaching imp just in case. If we want info on the situation we can ask this angel once we back her up.

OK, let's keep our new ally happy and save this angel with minimal action.

Oh oops no, I removed the status effect, but forgot to remove the adjustment from the spells. Thank you for pointing that out.

FUCK! I JUST REALIZED I FORGOT TO EXPLAIN THE GEAR CHALLENGE FOR THIS FLOOR!

Third Floor Gear Challenge: Kill 10 demonic or angelic forces before leaving the floor. Nephilim does not count as either. The commander of either army only counts as 1.

Oh sweet, those counted towards the count. I was gonna ask if Take or a party member had to land the killing blow but I guess we have our answer. Also, I’m assuming the Nephilim is the wandering floor monster this time.

    Questions for the angel:
    1. What’s your name?
    2. This was referred to as the frontline between the Towers Above and Below. I’m assuming this is one of many such floors?
    3. How expansive are the forces on each side? A dozen? A hundred? A thousand?
    4. How strong are the leaders? I’m assuming we aren’t dealing with an Archdemon or similar level.
    5. If we side with your forces, would you be able to supply us and let us rest back at your camp?

Given the choices we made at the end of the last floor, I don’t mind siding with the angels on this floor, nor heading to their base for now. If we can rest safely without needing to rely on Dreg that’d be great.

Also if Malphiel could finfd something to wear would be great

Okay, now that I am no longer too tired to think:
That went quite well. Hopefully the other demons on this floor will be as easy to distract...
    Anyway, questions:
    1) What is the name of the angel we just saved?
    2) Who are the leaders of the angelic and demonic forces on this floor?
    3) Can the angel we just helped – or any of the other angels – cure the effect of the incubus' lust aura?
    4) If not, do the angels have a safe place for Take and Malphiel to rest, so that Take can help her new companion with the arousal issue?
