Tower of Voices: Second Run Voting Thread

I will guess that it a goblin tending to those herb. Anyway I think we should head back to the voice, it seem more urgent and we can always come back here whenever we want.
 
Nice catch by Huginn, I forgot the lanterns were the sign I said to look for. Resource points are fair game for the Chosen. And I think they vanish when you leave? There’s no harm in taking them, so grab them and continue on.
 
If I remember correctly resource points are also safe from wandering monsters. So gather the herbs before moving on.
 
If I recall correctly, there was a flower monster guarding one of the exits to prevent the floor. We didn’t defeat it, so it might still be there. That could be the source of the smell. The goblins lived in a cave, so that’s probably what’s in the cave. Let’s head there since we’re so close, but be ready to run if there’s something wrong.
Also, no worries about shorter chapters, that’s just how it is when we get to a new floor.
 
For context, “The Beast” was Ash Meddai, the previous Archdemon of Lust. He was exploiting and terrorizing the goblins on this floor.

Take, use Force Lance, then the bow, then Cloak, firing off a few shots at the archers before vanishing. Pop out of invisibility to fire another attack when there’s an opening, then just as they get used to you being a ranged attacker, you should creep up and stab one with a melee weapon. Then focus on helping with melee at that stage. Malphiel, use the gauntlets and helmet combo like usual. I want to save your mana for healing after the fight for now. Just focus on clobbering them. Try to take one alive if possible, but we can get intel from the goblin as well so don’t take big risks to keep one alive.

(Assuming the aftermath isn’t left for another post) We should free the goblin. Ask her about the situation on the floor, such as what the deal with this cult and Lord Windtrace are, and how the goblins are doing. I also specifically want to one what’s going on with Goma, Isalia, and their child Izzy. If we take any of the cultists alive, ask about the state of the floor and their cult.
 
Fortunately, thanks to Gako’s info, I can fill in a lot of gaps.
Goma and Isalia were companions of Yulia, both very strong in their own right. Goma is a goblin native to this floor, while Isalia is from The Deep, which is a floor connected to this one by an elevator. It seems the two of them were visiting there when the cable was cut by Lord Windtrace to keep them away. Magritte was a goblin who led the others, and a former Chosen, but it seems she’s been overthrown. Izzy is the son of Goma. Due to the… unique circumstances of his conception, he’s a mix of goblin, angel, and more, so I can only guess as to what kind of abilities he has. Goma, Isalia, and the other goblins were raising him but it sounds like Lord Windtrace has been a bad example for him. The elves on this floor were all men, because their mistreatment of their women caused those women to all flee to The Deep. They don’t deserve any pity.

For now, I think we should continue down this path, and keep Gako with us for her safety. I think we should see what else is going on on this floor before we confront Windtrace, and also deal with The Breaker before that to avoid having to deal with both at once.
 
I'd like to know more about Breaker, but dealing with it first seems sensible, as we do not know much about Windtrace.

Anyway luring the Breaker inside is the obvious choice, we may be can defeat it but I don’t really sure. Also Take should use the bow to take it attention then after they get inside the sacrifice room, Take will lure it to one side and the other two go opposite so they can run out first then Take can use Cloak to sneak away.
A little bit extra but I pretty those cultists still alive right? If they do and the plan success, i would want Take to wait at the entrance a bit to see what will the Breaker do to those cultists. I just want to know if they are actually the same side or those idiots literary don’t even know what they are worshipping.
 
I assume we are still going to try to defeat all floor monsters. Anyway, if we run we are likely to meet Breaker several times on this floor. I think we should try fighting it now that we are in good shape and will have ability to rest before continuing to investigate Windtrace's action.

Though that is a good start for a battle plan. Gako should stay behind Malphiel while Malphiel circles behind Breaker. Take can try luring Breaker towards the cultists before cloaking and continuing ranged attacks, even if I suspect it will concentrate on Chosen. Malphiel should attack from behind when opportune moment appears. If fight appears to be going badly use the last smokebomb and escape as Frostgolem245 suggested.
