"Oh will you?" The redhead smiled, as she turned her attention fully to Chloe. "And how would you do that?" She asked curiously. "Would you pay my loggings? My food?" She leaned closer. "Spoil me?"
“I’m certain those things could be arranged, my pet,” I say, leaning in close and nipping at Lexi’s ear. “But Uhm, perhaps we could discuss matters in a more private setting?”
"Hmm~" moaned lightly. "But, I am still working~ Tani could start searching me." She protested, while her own hand started moving up, over Chloe's thight.
“Tani, yes, I don't think she liked me very much,” I say as I open my legs to give Lexi’s hand more freedom. “Are you free to leave? Or do you know a place we won’t be disturbed?”
Lexi bit her lips. "She is just protective of me." She said with a sigh, defending her coworker. "There were a couple of creeps and she stood up for me." She shook her head. "Unfortunately, I am still at work. And will be for another two hours." Chloe checked the time - that meant she would be finishing an hour before midnight.
I smile at Lexi and push the blood into my cheeks to mimic a slight blush. “I can wait. I have all the time in the world, especially for someone like you. I’ll be in the fiction section. Come find me when your shift is over.”
The redhead smiled with ligh blush on her cheeks and nodded. She turned around and left, leaving Chloe alone. It would be two hours before Lexi was free...
I head out to the fiction section, perusing a copy of Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu, awaiting my fascination to come find me. I smile as I think about being the predator but having my prey stalk me. I look about to see if there are any other late-night bookworms perusing the stacks.
Surprisingly, there were several people in the library at this late hour. Most of them, were students and some workers - most of them were searching through the technical and statistic books and magazines. But there was hardly anyone in the fantasy at this hour. At least, not at this day.
I take stock of all who are here. Perhaps this can be my hunting ground: students with their late-night studies, coffee, and high libido. I think perhaps I can convince them to take time off to spend with me, and in return, I get that special nourishment I require. I walk up to the closest male and do my best ditzy blonde impression, asking him to help me find a particular book.
As you look around you find a male in probably his thirties. He has slight overweight and is dressed casually. He is checking the book about engineering, a few other books laying on the table next to him - some about law, but most about engineering. He flips through pages, while scribbling something on the notepad, making notes. As she approached him, first, he had not noticed her, only when she spoke he looked up at her, eyes unfocused as he gathered his wits. "I'm sorry, could you repeat?" He asked.
I sit down next to him without asking, I smile at him and begin to play with my hair. “I noticed you are studying engineering. My brother is an engineer. It always seemed like so much math to me. And those Greek letters too. I don’t know how you keep it all straight.”
The man smiled and shrugged. "It's mostly math and logic. The equations can... Well, you simply have them written somewhere to check. I just need to know where to find the desired information, to apply it... Or know someone who knows how to solve my problem." He smiled. "Examples of applications are interesting as well. Working on examples helps greatly to understand the process." The man explained simply.
I lean in close, brushing against his shoulder as I look at the text, my hair tickling his cheek. “This is amazing. Are you a professor or perhaps a researcher?”
The man stiffened a little as she came closer, but at her question, he chuckled. "Me, a professor?" He laughed. "Oh no, I am a simple student." He paused, then added little bashfully. "Well a little overaged student." He admitted as he glanced at Chloe. "And you, miss? Searching for some aids for your brother?" He asked.
"Oh?" the man leaned back in his seat. I gathered that the rules in the US would be different from here." He winced, but after a moment, he shook his head. What do you find fascinating about this?" he asked curiously and sincerely, but also with some amount of doubt in his voice. "As you said, most of this, is math."
“Rules?” I scrunch up my brow and look confused. “I’m not what you mean. I guess because everything is created is made by engineers. The math is so hard. I can’t believe you can do it. You must be amazing.”
"You are from aboard?" He perked up "I will give you a little secret - heard some words in language, like thank you, or bye bye and use them at least once in conversation. You will buy much good will with the locals~" The man chuckled, his cheeks darkening a little. "Oh no." He shook his head with denial. "This is nothing incredible. I am barely a practitioner..." He sighted. He opened his mouth to speak, but then hesitated for a moment, before closing, in thought. "Anyway..." He started little awkwardly, "I... That is, what are you searching for in this section? Do you- I mean, are you just checking out the palce?"
“Yes, the southern U.S., I think hello is Witam and goodbye is da… no do widzenia, correct?” I ask, giving a sly smile. “I’m waiting for a friend. I just…. Well, you looked interesting. Sorry if I am disturbing you.”
