Going downwards, they begin to see a line of statues along the wall, covered in webs. "Fucking spiders." The ronin grunts.
'The spiders seem to like this place, keep your eyes and ears open,' Jian said, looking around and listening to the skittering of spider-legs.
He hears the sounds faintly in the distance, but none are in the immediate vicinity, or if they are, they're being extremely quiet. Looking at the statues, she's disappointed to see that they lack anything of value. Made of cast iron, they depict warriors equipped with ancient weapons and armour that she doesn't recognise. As she takes her sight off of one, she swears that she sees its head move in her periphery, but examining it, she finds no sign of life, and the act fails to repeat itself.
Midori was quite surprised by how large the place was. Yatsebe's family appears to be a lot bigger and wealthier than I realized... She examined their surroundings as they walked, but made sure to listen carefully to the man's words. “Indeed. Yuki, my elder sister, was like that too for a bit, but mother talked to her a few times and got her to try making some friends. Fortunately it went well.” She agreed with the man's comment. Once they arrived at their destination Midori politely greeted Yatsebe and the other people there before smiling at the archer. “I'm happy to see you again, Yatsebe.” (Not really happy with this post for some reason...)
Yatsebe leads her deeper into the room, an audience chamber. "You've met my father." She points to the pretty boy. "This is my cousin, Jiro, and this is..." She goes to point to the huge man, but somehow he left without anyone noticing. "Errr..." She shakes her head, walking to where cushions and a tray of tea paraphernalia have been set. "Please, sit."
"Huh?" Kyouka tilts her head as she stares at the statue, "Keep your guards up." She said to her group as they continued deeper. "Say, which civilization was these ruins from again?"
"No doubt. Their weapons and armor alone prove it." Kyouka replied, as she keeps her hands ready to draw her blade.
Going deeper, the group comes across a t intersection, with paths going forwards, left and right. As he looks, Jian can hear a faint feminine chuckle coming from one of the tunnels, not sure which, though Kyouka hears nothing but the sound of arachnid legs coming from all of them.
'Did anybody hear that? Sounded like laughter,' Jian said looking at the tunnel where he heard the faint noise, 'Maybe there is somebody else down here with us?'
"Laughter? Only things I hear are those spiders crawling about." Kyouka shrugged, "Either way, we'll need to choose which path to take. Seems like there are all sorts of odd things in here." She said, listening closely hoping to hear which path had the least spiders.
“Nice to meet you. My name is Midori Hara.” Midori introduced herself to Jiro, then blinked in surprise when she realized the large man had left unnoticed. I never would have expected such a large man to be so good at moving stealthily. She followed after Yatsebe and took a seat as instructed.
Yatsebe's father begins pouring tea. "I heard that there was trouble at the palace. I do hope you weren't harmed?"
"Alright, let's go left!" Kyouka proudly says, and if no one complains. She urges the ronin to lead the way.
"Thank you for your help." Kina grinned as she got the information. She asked a few more questions about this stage of test to understand it better. With that done, she started moving her fingers faster, bringing the woman to the edge of climax. "When you wake up, you will not remember my questions. Only that I have done wonderful things with my tongue, as thanks for the help you gave me." With that she brought the woman to climax, whispering the commands again, making sure that the woman has no suspicions, only pleasant memories. She then gently lied the concubine on her bed. With information, Kina went to meet her target.
@unisol_gr44 Heading down the left tunnel, Kyouka soon sees it growing more narrow, before it opens up again. Now, she sees a circular stone chamber, with statues lining the wall, and a statue of a warlord in the center. As torchlight illuminates the statue, they see that it's clad in real armour, an exceptionally fine set of samurai armour, in fact. Jian sees writing engraved on the breastplate, in a language unknown to him, but that has some connection to that of his homeland. He thinks he can make out the words prove thyself. Kyouka, looking down at the statue's sword, sees that it's a beautiful blade. Pulling it slightly out of its sheath, she realises that the sword is incredibly sharp, and made of a steel superior to her own, and perhaps even the purified steel of the nanban.
The woman slumps to the bed, unconscious. As Kina walks up to the next level, she sees who must be her target. She walks for a moment through the hallway, before stepping inside a room.
"Oh-ho?" Kyouka cooes, closely inspecting the beautiful sword. "The blade is mine, feel free to take the armor." She shamelessly calls dibs, yet she wasn't foolish enough to take the blade yet. "Still... it's too clean don't you think? It's not covered in dust, and I'll go as far and say it. That statue's equipment would easily be recognized as a national treasure." She said as she looks around to see if the room had traps of its own.
