'Maybe I will, it is still a long journey to take just like that,' Jian said. He nodded to his sister, 'We're cousins. You know Lord Jurobei Yokuboo's son Shenzen? He's her father.'
"I see." She chuckles. "I was afraid that you were going to say she was your sister." Chitsukiko gives a laugh. "Nah, though I'd probably still snapped him up if he was." They share a smile. Amalia stands. "Ah, damn, I'll need to start reapplying my makeup. My shift starts soon." She gives Jian another tight hug. "I'm really happy that I got to meet you. Shall we see each other again?"
Jian chuckled, 'No, she's not. I only have one sister, as far as I know, but you can never know with the way father is.' He returned the hug, and gave her a kiss on her cheek like his father did, 'You look fantastic as you are, but of course you know better than I, so we won't keep you any longer. I really enjoyed speaking with you too. I'll be sure to visit again soon.'
"Fine." Kyouka sighed, taking out her two sheathed blades. "Don't even think about stealing them." She glared at the guard to let him know she means business, before she takes out her sidearm. "There. Anything else?" She asked, and if there was none, she'll follow them to the lord.
Midori took the note and put it away. “Well, after the Empress told me about my mother I figured there might be more revelations waiting for me, so I prepared myself.” She shrugged. “But enough about mom – there's only so many revelations I can handle for one day. Please, tell me a bit more about you and what you do. Last time you mentioned a 'voyage of exploration', I believe...”
Kina decided to leave the note to the eunuch, who she believed would take care of the problem. With that done, she decided to return to Sengoku - the sudden change in her demeanour was not a good thing. After making sure that lord Sengoku was present she requested meeting with him. Kina's change in feelings drove her to the conclusion that she was under the spell. She wrote the report of her mission, including all the important details on the first scroll. Then, on the second scroll, she wrote change in her person and her suspicion that someone cast a spell on her. She believed herself now be a danger to her lord. With both scrolls prepared, she ordered the guards to tie her - she did not know, if there was some trigger. She had her hands tied behind her back, the rope coiling around her chest, her mouth gagged with bit-gag and her eyes blindfolded.
She holds him tightly, before finally releasing him. "I look forwards to it." She makes a move towards her desk to start applying her makeup.
They don't respond, leading the flame-haired woman through the complex, into a small but elegant main house, gilded in gold. She's taken into a meeting area, where a middle aged man sits, bald head glistening. "I am Lord Mochi. I hear you have something to propose?"
She nods. "Indeed. I've been trying to prepare a voyage, but the project has been overwhelmed with problems so far. The nanban who were going to help construct our ships have gone silent, there have been materials going missing, the man meant to be the admiral of the exploration fleet has gone on a bender." She sighs. "This was to be my legacy, but I think it'll never get off the ground."
(I'm guessing she's going to Shintaro, not Sengoku?) She's allowed out, though many are surprised that one of the best candidates would leave after the most difficult tests were completed. As she returns to Castle Yokuboo, the blonde is told that Shintaro is currently outside the complex, in the city. She's led into a room, nonetheless, and at her request the guards bind and gag her, tying a blindfold over her eyes. She's alone for quite a while, nothing but the sound of her own breathing for company, when she hears the door open. At first, she assumes that it's Shintaro returning, but the gait is far too light and feminine. The newcomer slides the door closed, before slowly approaching Kina. "Mmmm, so you're the Yokuboo's delicious little morsel, eh?" The voice is silky and seductive, and as Kina hears it, she can't shake the feeling that she wants to hear more. The woman moves her hand forwards to open Kina's robe, exposing her breasts. "Just perfect." The woman caresses Kina's breasts, pinching the nipples in just the right way to fill the blonde's head with pleasure. "We're going to have so much fun together. When Shintaro is gone, I'll keep you around me all the time."
"Mhmm. I'd like to discuss the temple you bought, I hear you haven't been able to utilise it due to gang related problems. So, I'd like to buy it off your hands." Kyouka said with a grin as sits down right in front of the bald noble.
“I don't know how much help I will be, but still, I am curious. Please, tell me more about each issue and we'll see if I can do something to help you.: Midori suggested.
Tiyaka nods. "Well, firstly, we're having problems with the nanban. When my agents go to visit the shipyard they've leased, they find the gates closed, with no answer coming from beyond."
He grins, and armed men begin entering the room. "Funny, I've been approached many times by a certain Oichi Mitsurugi, trying to get me to betray my lord. I believe that last time I said that if she sent any more of her agents trying to seduce me, I'd send them back without a head." The men begin to close in on her. "I must commend her, though. For what it's worth, you're the most appealing girl she's sent yet." Mochi stands, and goes to leave. "Make it quick." He says offhandedly to one of his men.
'So do I,' Jian said, 'Goodbye, Amalia. Until next time.' Jian left the room with Chitsukiko. His father would be busy for a while, so they left the brothel. 'She's a really nice girl,' Jian said.
"Oh ho? Interesting." Kyouka cooed, "Though if you think I'm on my sister's side. You're awfully mistaken." She said in a haughty tone, "But it is amusing how you haven't fallen for her "charms" yet." She chuckled, while skillfully evading his swordsmen if they strike.
Together, they walk down the street, taking in the sights of wealthy nobles and upmarket geisha. "I thought so, too. Both of you got the better parts of Shintaro's personality, without the less appealing bits like the chronic drunkenness. I thin-" She stops talking as a group of men in black yukata walk down the street, wielding swords and matchlocks. They spread into two groups, four heading into Amalia's brothel through the front, and another four going into an alley behind it.
