What about a branch in 1st person with Gavin? Shouldn't be too difficult, since there's only one character to write scenes for.
That would be awesome. The story could be from his perspective and there could be tangential information about the others, but the story would remain in Gavin's prespective. Maybe the story could also have an epilogue to tell what happened with Gavin and Heather and maybe say some information about the others
I think it'd be best to do this on ARC, there's more freedom, and a vague plot sprung up in my head. Let me organize myself a bit better with my active projects first, and then I'll try to tackle it.
I guess it'd be something like Gavin going through most of the female cast while solving his problems and living his life. Zack would remain dating Lisa so he stays happy as well.
Holy fuck, with just a single post today after more than three months, Azure Rocks Chronicles got Story of the Week for the first time, that's amazing! Wish this story had taken off better, it gives way more freedom than At the Cabin.
Nice. I just have one question, is the post the one that you placed with "Plot suggestions for writers" or a new chapter that i didn't see? Maybe now, new readers and writers will see the story and maybe they will help develop it. The story is great and it's a shame that it didn't really take off.
Just the plot suggestions. I was amazed that a single post in the last day of the week put this as Story of the Week. Granted, they exclude from the race stories that recently got the award, but still, it surprised me. It would be good time to post a few chapters on it, but unfortunately, I got nothing as of right now, I'm really busy with my next chapter for At the Cabin. I don't remember closing up this story, I think it was always on Moderated. The only one I initially set as Private and then changed to Moderated was the quest version of At the Cabin.
Okay, I have no way of guaranteeing what will be my state of mind when I return from my writing break, but I thought I can use the time to plan a possible story here in the Chronicles. Wanted to bounce some ideas here and see what sticks. Alright, I mentioned some time ago the idea of having a string of connected one-shots, and my main intention is having something like that, to be easier to write. Maybe a chaptered story, where each chapter revolves around a sex scene and the following ones build on top of each other until the story is complete. Another thing, no complicated plots like the bear costumes or the illegal underground sex club that Azure Rocks Chronicles had in my original plot, those make the story difficult to write. I want to focus mainly on the characters and their relationships to each other. Now, let's move on to some ideas: - Heather possibly doing that sex/swing club I mentioned a while ago. Maybe she has to work to get everyone on board, then they all like the idea at first, but as time goes by, one or more characters try to get out because of different reasons (too much sex, hurting relationships, etc). - I'm digging the idea of making Gavin a sibling for Ashley and Hannah. Although, to not break up the mythology too much, just a half-brother (something like Ash and Han's dad having an affair with Gavin's mother and getting her pregnant around the same time he got his wife pregnant with Ashley). Even if they live at different houses, Ashley and Hannah know he's their brother and influenced him accordingly to not make him awkward like in the original story (not going to make him Mr. Smooth, just not as awkward and difficult to write; maybe he's not afraid of interacting with women, but he doesn't have any luck with them because of his interests or something like that). - Shuffle the pieces around the board a little if comparing it to my finished branch for At the Cabin. Since Victoria ended up as Zack's girlfriend there, they won't date here; I'm partial to Chloe, Lisa or Ashley being Zack's main pairing here. Although, one plot I'm considering is having Zack and Vicky (or a random girl) start the story dating and her getting seduced to join Heather's club (maybe not using this plot with Zack, but with Vicky and Dustin, I don't know yet). - Not sure which version of Brandon I'll use, the good guy or the jerk. Maybe a mix of the two, a good guy who gets his mind a bit boggled when dealing with sex, possibly being Heather's main ally with the sex club thing. - Zack or Gavin (probably Zack), having a brief affair with Mary Moreau, the teacher. Maybe even getting her on the club.
The idea of Heather making a sex club sounds very interesting and it could lead to some fun and hot scenes. Personally i would prefer if Gavin would be Ashley's twin, but i also like the idea of him being a half-brother. I also like the idea of him being influenced by Hannah and Ashley so he can be more confident, but not Mr. Smooth. In terms of girls it would be interesting to see Gavin having girlfriend or two before the start of the story and, maybe have Gavin and Heather be friends with benefits and experiment, in terms of sex. I believe an interesting development would be, Gavin and Heather being friends with benefits and Zack dating Vicky at the start of the story and the sex club, but as time progresses Zack and Vicky break up due to the fact that Zack wants out of the club and Vicky wants to stay and experiment and she might join Gavin and Heather in their sessions, and then as the story progresses Gavin could enter a serious relationship with Vicky (that's unless Taylor or Heather are an option for Gavin to end up with at the end of the story, but that's just my preference ). I also think that it would be interesting for Zack to end up with Chloe. If it's not to weird, Gavin and Vicky could, potentially have swinging sessions with Zack and Chloe. Personally, i would prefer good guy Brandon. I think that the idea of having Zack have a brief affair with Ms. Moreau is very good. They could have the affair after Zack breaks up with Vicky due to the sex club. But, i don't think Ms. Moreau should join or be made aware of the sex club.
I came up with the half-brother variation exactly so Gavin didn't become a player, since I think he would have turned up exactly like that if living with Hannah full-time. His mom keeps him humble, I guess. I'm liking the idea of Gavin having had a girlfriend before, who got scared because of something Hannah did and broke up with him. Him paired up with Heather is a possibility for the end, maybe the club starts getting out of hand and Gavin helps her shut it down, and due to some previous sexual interaction they had in club meetings, they start hanging out more and get closer. The Victoria plot is a delicate one that I have to think about carefully, since it will involve cheating, which is why I'm not sure if I'll use Zack or Dustin for it, maybe even Brian in a special guest starring role. Vicky and the guy (one of the three) haven't had sex yet when she gets attracted to the club. But that swinging idea is also intriguing, just not with Zack and his final pairing. The Ms. Moreau idea still needs some refining. I want her in a brief affair with one of the boys, but the idea of her having sex with two at the same time also intrigues me.
It sounds really great. I agree that if Gavin would grow up with Hannah full-time he would be a totally different character. I also like the idea of Gavin helping Heather close the club after it/if it gets out of control and the two of them ending up as a couple. Maybe you will tackle this version of the story after you take your break.
Of course, there's also the possibility of keeping roughly the same plot I was already doing, only without the underground club and including the changes I was mentioning.
Forgot to mention an idea that occurred to me a while ago. This time I might involve some of the parents in the action too, maybe Zack, Gavin and Vicky's mothers and Heather's father, just to mention a few.
Don't have much planned out for them yet, just figured it could be interesting to involve them. If Gavin gets involved with Heather, it can be something near the end of the story, kind of like 'Heather is at his place and comments that his mom is still young and attractive, that gets Gavin thinking, and then Heather tries to seduce her into a threeway with them'. For Heather, it shouldn't be too difficult to plan a scene between her dad and her, considering how much sexual the two of them are. As for Vicky and her mom, maybe one of the guys is at her house and somehow ends in a threeway with them.
Those would be very interesting scenes. Especially Gavin and Heather having a threeway with Gavin's mother or one of the guys having a threesome with Vicky and her mother, especially if her mother is as good looking as Vicky.
Of course, it's pretty much a given that Gavin will bang big sis Hannah at some point, so maybe to not repeat plots too much, I'll shift the mom/son idea to Zack and his mother.
