“I'm sure it will be fine. But I will protect you if something goes wrong.” Azura promised, trying to reassure her companion. Realizing what Alicia was doing Azura played along, putting her hands on the woman's butt and returning the kiss. “Mmm, that was nice.” She kept her voice low, in case there was anyone outside. “Too bad we're in a hurry...” she smirked as she lightly squeezed her 'boss' ass, then removed her hands and resumed searching the shelves.
"Shit." Duke's face is perfectly even, and at first Jenny thinks he's fazed at the calibre of enemy he has. Then he starts laughing. "Damn, Infinity's gonna be heartbroken when he hears. Boy didn't think you'd give him up - he actually thought you were into him. But he's a bit on the light side for you, ain't he?" Chuckles fill the room. Like a sack of bricks, the realisation hits Jenny. Her suspicions about Infinity were right all along. The man she idolized - who she wanted to be like, is with Duke. "Then what if I said I was planning on going up against villains?" He raises an eyebrow. Tatiana turns the kiss into one of passion, gripping him tightly, but she lets him leave, nonetheless. "I think I should be saying that to you, no?" She chuckles. "...Yeah?" The gang leader's voice sounds on the other end of the line, a little raspy.
Goode pulls back, face red with a shocked expression that suggests she's perhaps surprised at her own boldness. She jumps as Azura gropes her ass, before letting out a surprised moan of pleasure. "I-I, ahem, yes." She nods, trying to regain her composure. Spoiler: Luck Roll D100: 88 Some time later, the two women get back into Goode's car, beating a retreat from the tower, though Alicia keeps from driving too rashly, since they haven't been caught. "Bingo - I got everything I need to bury them." She announces as they merge into traffic.
"I'd say good for you that you grew a conscious, but I fail to see any proof of that." Vanessa replied, showing Hammer that she's listening as she undoes her fist.
Despite her anticipation at her new direction in life, there was a strange feeling of despair that lingered in her gut at the realization. Like a final nail in the coffin, she knew now there truly was no turning back. For a moment her shoulders slumped and she pondered before her chin rose and she smiled at Duke. "A little bit." she winked. Cum covered her skin and flowed freely from her holes. Her gloved hand rested over her stomach and she felt like she'd just ate a full three-course meal. She waited a while, enjoying the semen caked onto her skin, before she cleaned herself. With her costume back on and her body as clean as she could make it she turned to her employer. "You said you had a job for me sir?" With the sunlight gone, she knew it was late and she wanted to get home to Harold as quickly as she could. Whatever this task was that Dylan wanted to her to do, she wanted to get it done quickly.
"Heh, you got me." He chuckles. "I ain't doing this out of the good of my heart. It's a job. Apparently some very bad people have gotten hold of some powerful alien artifact, and they've hired some top tier talent to keep anyone from taking it." He names a few infamous villains Vanessa recognises, though she's never fought any of them, since most are foreign. "Government wants 'em taken care of quietly, and they know I'm the guy to do it. Me and the team I pick. You'd be fighting the baddest of the bad. Maybe it's a little out of your league, though."
"More than a little." He chuckles. "It's a simple job. Remember how I said some assholes are fixing up cut Panacea and getting people hurt? We found one of their labs. Go there and bust the place up - it's the kind of work you'd have done even before you met me." He hands over an address.
"Wait, wait, so your saying the government reached out to you?" Vanessa was taken aback, though she figured it was true if what Hammer said was any indication. The government would want it to be dealt with... and have deniability on the off chance things go wrong. Coupled with the names he gave, which she only caught from foreign news outlets. "Hmm." Vanessa frowns, especially as he taunts her, "Uh huh, and on the off chance I do join you, what's stopping you from stabbing me in the back on the first sign of trouble?"
Hammer laughs outright at that. "Girl, do I seem like the kind of guy who makes elaborate plans to backstab people? I see a problem, I smash it."
Jenny accepts the offered sheet and takes note of the address. She couldn't keep a pleased smile off of her face. Duke was right, this was exactly the kind of thing she would have taken care of before everything in her life was flipped sideways. In fact before her encounter with his men in the alleyway she was planning on starting an investigation into the corrupted Panacea. The fact that the address was just being delivered to her was serendipitous. "Thank you, I'll take care of it right away." Jenny replied before she was led out of Duke's HQ by a couple of burly men. She enjoyed their eyes on her and made sure to give her hips a little extra sway as she walked. A light probe of their minds told her they were spent, but she was happy to see movement in their slacks regardless. Once outside Jenny used her powers to fly into the sky and she headed for the location Duke had provided. However, as she moved farther from Dylan's HQ she felt the headache from earlier slowly start to return.
"You're also the last person I'd call for a "quiet" job as you claim the government has." Vanessa grumbled, "And if you were their first choice, I'd seriously doubt their competency." She hissed, but as she thinks about her current situation. "Khh. Who else is on this team of yours?" She decides to ask before making her decision.
Head throbbing, Jenny finds herself hovering above an old warehouse, looking down through a shattered skylight into what can charitably be called a 'lab'. Sadly, her foes aren't what she'd perhaps hoped for on the way - they're skinny, skeezy looking and, well... Not her 'type.' A half dozen of them labor underneath her, turning piles of perfectly good Panacea into poison.
"True - but a hero would be making arrests, something my employers don't want." He shrugs, not seeming to care much about their motivations. "A few folks so far." Vanessa recognises the names of several villains, as well as some heroes for hire and even a proper hero - albeit one who's not been in the limelight for a while.
While Jenny scouted the area, her mind stretched out to probe the surface thoughts of the lab 'technicians' but soon she was distracted by the Panacea. She felt a pull to the substance, a yearning... and perhaps before she was ready she propelled herself through the shattered skylight to take care of the situation. "I suggest you all surrender." she stated as she hovered above the floor, her eyes constantly darting to the white powder. "Otherwise things will get unpleasant."
With a huff of disappointment, Jenny sent a flurry of psychokinetic blasts towards the various men she saw in the room. But she knew she had to be careful about blasting the contaminated Panacea into the air and tried to direct the blasts carefully.
"Khh." Vanessa groans at the prospect of having to kill someone. But as Hammer starts listing names, "Those... people won't be getting along now, won't they? You think you can actually do a proper job without your team imploding the moment you all meet up?" She asked, although she figured each of them had a price. She doubts they'd still be much of a team. "Fine, I'll join your team. In exchange, you keep quiet about my identity." But as Hammer unfortunately held all the cards, Vanessa had no choice but to accept. "However, the moment an innocent bystander gets caught up in this mission, I'm out." She hissed.
Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: 49+10-10 (Minor Failure) The heroine's mental attacks sends the men flying across the room, unconscious. Unfortunately for her, thanks to her headache, she failed to notice one more man in the bathroom, out of sight. By the time she's turned around, she sees one of the skeezy drug dealers pointing a revolver at her. As she formulates a thought to erect a barrier, she hears the firearm go bang, and suddenly she's feeling cold. Looking down, she sees a red hole above her hot pants, and then she feels pain coursing through her body, her legs going out beneath her. Petrified, the man raises his gun again, aiming at her face - and then out of nowhere, smashes the object into his nose, breaking it. He cries out in pain, but it doesn't stop him from raising the gun again. He slams it into his temple once, twice, and then he falls to the ground unconscious. "Oh Goddess, oh, fucking Goddess, Jenny!" The blonde looks up, vision blurring, but still clear enough to see a familiar redhead rushing towards her. Unlike before, where she seemed smug, the woman only seems panicky and concerned for Psychana. "Goddess damn those pigs! Hang on, I'm here to help, baby." In a flash of pyrokinesis, the contaminated Panacea goes up in flames, leaving only the product the men hadn't been able to corrupt yet. Dabbing a line on her finger, the woman holds it in front of Jenny's nose. "Sniff, honey, it'll help me fix the wound." Jenny's eyes wide, and unconsciousness takes a step back as the woman's psychic mask fails, much as Jenny's did when overwhelmed by pleasure by Duke's men, and the redhead is revealed to be a blonde. A very familiar blonde. "Don't worry, Jenny, nothing's going to happen to you. The Goddess won't allow it. I won't allow it. Now sniff."
"Right, even if you did, what happens then when your lackeys leave your aura?" Vanessa replied in a sarcastic tone, glaring as he suggests a kiss. "Never in your life." She hissed.
