Julia hearing it come from Adam's mouth actually couldn't help it. The giggling was immature, but there it was. "Aren't you sweet?"

“The enchantment past that door is intended to separate us, one by one. We could time it correctly to make sure people group off into pairs so not everyone is caught alone.” Julia still recognized that would leave the group in a odd number, but that didn’t bother her.

“I think it should be obvious that I have the best chances of making it without any help. None of you are prepared for fighting spirits. Worst case scenario, I'll be fine. I can't say the same about the rest of you.” She didn’t speak out of arrogance, but just as a matter of fact. If something happened, she could survive here. They could not.

The two girls find themselves in a fancy ballroom. It is currently configured as a large dining room, probably intended for the presumed cult's members.
