"I was worried about throwing Felicia off her game, but I suppose we can have a look." Adam relents, before moving into the dark cloud to witness the shadow game. Seeing Felicia's opponent, he calls out to her, growling in a low voice about what will happen to her once she loses and trying to throw her off her game. (Sorry for the lackluster post.)
Julia drew her next card as she takes another drink, stronger now as her life finally starts to properly recover now sitting at 6900, now getting close to having made a full recovery from the damage she had taken. The more time passed, the stronger she would heal for, but that wouldn't offset damage forever. She needed to properly finish the duel soon. However, Angelica was clearly getting desperate. And she had no cards left in the hand or sitting in her backrow and having burned through most of her effects, even with Angelica's better draws, it would still be a hard position to recover from. As Julia held her new card, she was kind of disappointed that while useful, it wasn't a monster meaning she'd have to sacrifice Trishula for Aidbhair's effect. "I set a card face down." Spoiler She could activate if she needed it to keep her safe, but that would mean her monsters wouldn't be able to attack either. Still, the stall card she had picked up could be very useful at giving her more time if this doesn't work. "Now, Abridehear. Return the skeleton beast to the graveyard. This time, stay in hell." Declaring the attack, she knew that Angelica could potentially special summon her tuner back out, but Gashadkuro would not be easy to keep returning anymore if this kept up. Arbidehar was still protected so this trade wasn't a cost to her even if their attack was tied. She held off on declaring Trishula's attack yet to see if she would summon out her new Tsukaghi as an attempt for more protection before she targeted the pesky ice spirit just yet.
"How dare you lay a hand upon your God!" Carley screams as Abyss bats her aside. She comes to a stop as a crumpled heap on the floor. The magical darkness the woman had summoned suddenly disappears, but the Shadow Game's unique, dark-but-still-bright nature remains. As the cult leader stirs, she looks up to see a gigantic, semi-physical spider. Uru picks the so-called Goddess up in his maw, crushing just enough of the life from the screeching girl to end the duel. The ancient being turns around, setting it's unconscious prey on the ground before Felicia. The arrangement...stands...Remember this... Uru, along with the other monsters, begins to fade away. The exhaustion Felicia feels does not disappear so easily. Like the last Shadow Duel, a disembodied voice prompts Felicia. "Victor, the defeated duelist is yours to do with as you will."
"Finally... finished." Felicia groans weakly, hearing Uru's voice, followed by the strange Egyptian words she could understand. "Broodmother... I want her as a broodmother." The red-head mumbles weakly, with the tension gone, her consciousness starts slipping away due to the damage she took, and the exhaustion that suddenly came over her. She tries to give Carley over, just to pay back Uru's help. After declaring her intent for the unconscious nun, Felicia finally drops to her knees, and collapses. Too tired to keep her eyes open, she drifts off to sleep.
As luck would have it, the cloud of darkness begins to thin in front of Adam's eyes. The disappearing sphere of shadow reveals Felicia standing in the middle of a richly appointed room. Felicia is obviously worse for wear. Spoiler: Room Another woman lies unconscious at the probable victor's feet. Her dress is charred and barely able to hold itself together. The girl is similarly burned and bruised. Spoiler: Woman @asddas193 Felicia hears Adam approaching from behind her.
@asddas193 "Nice job." Adam smirks, seeing another enemy brought low. As Felicia wobbles a little, he moves in to steady her. "Are you okay? You should sit down for a moment." He gestures to one of the nearby couches.
As Adam catches her before she fell onto the floor, "Huh... you... Adam?" Felicia mumbled in a weak, exhausted tone. "Y-yeah, I'm okay... just... tired." She replied, struggling to move to the couch. "Michio... where's Michio? She... lost... and Carley ordered her to change..." She weakly looks around as she sits down, asking Adam to look for their eye-patched companion.
"Ordered her to... change?" Adam tilts his head in confusion, as he guides the exhausted girl onto the plush seat. "You rest, and I'll look for her, okay?" @AnonYMooseBoG True to his word, Adam begins a search for the eyepatched girl.
@AnonYMooseBoG "Yeah... rest." Felicia leans back into the couch, breathing heavily. Her bruises, and burns still hurting. She didn't even realize how tattered her dress has become. While Adam began his search, Felicia remains on the couch, far too exhausted to do anything.
As Julia expects, her opponent Specials Summons Tsukahagi in Defense Position after the, hopefully final, slaying of Gashadokuro.
Debating what to do, Julia looked at the snow ghost. “Trishula….send Yuki to the graveyard.” While getting her tuners out was important, Tsukasghi would still need more cards on the field to synchro with. If she could prevent Yuki from activating it’s effects if she had too, that would finally leave Angelica wide open. After the ice dragon sent a gust of ice too powerful for even the ice spirit to withstand as it froze and shattered, it was now just the tuner monster left. She’d need some more pulls to break these defenses, but making sure she couldn’t set up in the graveyard took more priority, otherwise Tsukashi was simply a wall if it had nothing it could summon into. “I end my turn. This looks like a tight spot. I wonder. What can yo do here?”
Good...Rest...You will need...strength... Felicia feels the woman being bound to her as the student also begins to drift away. Yumi and Adam's serving nun join him in helping Felicia to a seat. Felicia sees a woman in a nun's outfit. A large hole in her dress reveals a brutal scar on the woman's stomach. Spoiler: Adam's Servant Adam finds Michio in an adjoining bedroom's walk-in closet. She lies unconscious on the floor, but she is nearly complete nude. Only a pair of pink panties preserve any shred of her decency. Another woman stands in the closet, seemingly guarding the student, wielding a flail. Her clothes are in even worse shape than Adam's new servant's dress. Spoiler: Guard Seeing that Adam's the one approaching, she lowers her guard. "Did Felicia win?" Yumi and the other woman who was with Adam do what they can to keep Felicia calm, comfortable, and awake. The professor gives her a proud, loving smile. "Good work, Felicia. Are you alright?"
"Aah... professor." Felicia mumbles, "Yes, I think I'm... fine." She replied, fighting the urge to fall asleep. "What about you? Did you and Adam..." Just as she was about to ask if they found trouble, she notices the nun with a wound on her stomach. "Ah, then you guys... also won." She lets out a relieved sigh. "That girl over there..." Felicia points to the unconscious Carley, "She's the leader of this... cult."
Adam nods, squaring up into a fighting pose just in case the nun is still on the side of her original masters. "She did. She was a little, how do you say, banged up, but she's alright." He looks at the nun. "This news, I hope, pleases you?" He says, pointedly staying out of range of the flail. As he spots the attractive one-eyed woman's state, the young man tries his best to resist a hard on, but fails utterly when he looks at the state of the nun's own clothing. Closing his mouth, he looks to his servant. "Tear down one of the drapes and wrap Michio in it. Let's get her some covering at least until we can find her some clothes."
"Draw and see what comes." Angelica says, matter-of-fact. "To begin, Yuki-Musume shall return anew with Hajun, the Winged Mayakashi as the offering." "The ice spirit and Tsukahagi Synchronize their souls, calling Oboro-Guruma. This, in turn, causes Dakki to stir from her slumber in the realm of the dead. I shall use Dakki and the second set of Mayakashi in my Extra deck, aside from the already-used Gashadokuro, to reach Yoko once more, so please use Areadbhair's effect now if you wish to prevent this." [Pick from the list of Synchro Summons where you want to stop Angelica, unless you have something else in mind.]
(I was planning on just banishing the ice spirit.) "I think, let's stop that at step one. Musume's effect activates...so..I will tribute Trishula to banish the ice spirit entirely, negating it's effect and preventing it from thinning out the deck. It's time in this realm has passed." She was a little sad to see the ice dragon knight be burned by his ally, but in exchange for banishing the spirit it would massively shut down her ability to engage in combat. Julia got the sense she was risking being baited into a trap, but the whole reason for putting Yuki into the graveyard was to avoid this. If she couldn't get the chain off, it didn't matter. And as the fire enveloped the spirit, Julia still felt she was going to breath a little easier despite having no more fodder for the knight's effect to go off.
"Good." The woman nods, tucking the weapon shaft-first into a sheath worn at her hip. "I'll redress Michio. Now where did she throw her clothes..." She begins searching the large closet, dozens of hanging outfits to look through. The nun verifies Felicia's statement, answering an unspoken question from Yumi. "Yep. That's Mis--uh, just Carley now." "Yes, but we were not facing the woman in charge." The professor says. "Julia is investigating the prison downstairs, but you should rest. Adam or I will check on her once we are certain you two are safe."
"From what Dinah said... Angelica must be the one in the dungeon." Felicia replied, "But then, Carley also said that she's already... crushed Angelica." She adds, slowly regaining her breath. "Also... my spirit... said he wanted Carley as... a broodmother." Felicia mumbles.
"So you're bound to Felicia now, just like..." He turns to the nun he defeated. "What was your name again?" He shakes his head. "Alright, I'll let you dress her. l" He turns and heads out to where Yumi and Felicia are. @asddas193 "Yeah, I'm getting worried about Julia." He says to the two of them. "I should never have let her go off on her own like that. I'll return soon." Turning, he heads back to the prison and tries to get in.
