"You possess a strong deck, if you don't mind me saying." Elisa releases the handshake after an appropriate amount of time. "Quintet Magician is incredibly potent. If I may ask, how did you obtain the card?"
"A strong deck - but it's the person that counts. The most powerful deck imaginable is useless if you don't know what to do with it." Adam says, ego showing. "As for Quintet Magician, it was a gift from...from a friend."
"But he can use it again." Michio whispers as Yumi talks. "We're definitely going to test that sometime." The student's devious expression remains as she rests her hand atop Felicia's thigh. "Why not? I'm an expert at finding men who'd love to fuck you. Are you only into girls? Because I can help if that's the issue." She leans closer to the redhead. Heat practically radiates from the Shiranui user. "You'll have to be happy with a toy instead of a real cock, though. I don't have an Uru to give to me one." Whatever Yumi was doing earlier, she hasn't hidden her hands behind the podium since starting the lecture. She stays behind it while speaking, but that's nothing unusual.
"I-I think it can? But it's too dangerous." Felicia replied, not sure how to explain the black cum that stained her bed, and Carley's sudden shift. Yet with her unease, she failed to realize that she still hasn't declined Michio's offer. And with the eye-patched girl's hand resting on her nylon-clad thigh. Letting Michio feel her soft skin underneath the thin layer of her pantyhose. What she said next had an even more powerful effect against the prudish red-head, leaving her to stutter, instead of declining Michio's offer of hooking her up. "N-no, I, before last night I've never even though of doing it with another girl, I-I don't..." Felicia's cheeks turn from pink, to red thanks to the embarrassing comversation. She couldn't even afford to listen to Yumi's class as she tries to hide her flushed face.
Elisa nods. "I see." She allows a brief silence to fill the air before Yumi and a student wearing the academy's red uniform enter the lecture hall. Spoiler: Student With Yumi From what Adam can hear, the professor is giving the girl some general deck building advice before starting the class proper.
"Dangerous? Why?" With Yumi's voice droning on in the background, Michio moves her hand from Felicia's leg, wrapping it around the redhead's back to pull the relatively innocent girl close. Felicia soon feels the eyepatched woman's other hand reclaim the vacated place. "Really? Then why'd you fuck Carley? And I don't hear you turning me down, either..." She takes a glance at the professor before returning her attention to Felicia. "Don't worry. I won't go any farther than this. Not during class, I mean." Michio smiles.
"Y-you know, with that thing about Carley suddenly... becoming more obedient." Felicia whispers as Michio pulls her close, "H-hey!" She tried to resist, but as she kept her voice down, and didn't want to attract any attention with how red her face had become. "I-I only... did it with her because of Uru... we made a deal, it used its magic to help me see in the dark... in exchange, Carley had to become... a broodmother." She whispered, quivering a bit as Michio's hand returns to her thigh. "Stop it already, what do yoh think you're doing in the middle of class." Felicia replied, though rather than an outright rejection, it could sound as if she'd be okay with this in a more private setting.
(Ignore wood. I literally couldn't find a better image to use.) "Welcome to the first class of- Julia yawned a bit, getting another long introduction out of the way, but found more of her energy back as she brought up the screen. "To start with the basics, we have the attributes that you're all familiar with. Of the four primary elements that shape the world, you have Earth, WIND, WATER, and FIRE. Then you have LIGHT and DARK. Now obviously, when it comes to in game mechanics, the type tree doesn't matter. And as a rule, Light and Dark tend to be treated as both strong against each other, but at other times it's viewed as light pierces the dark, but dark corrupts the earth, and while earth is neutral to light, it doesn't conduct the electricity of thunder and thunder absorbs the light. This will be important later." Julia clicked the button, bringing up a series of charts and images, waiting a few minutes each to give students time to write it down as she talked before switching. Spoiler "These are the stats from a few years ago, but the numbers remained consistent over the years. I'm sure by playing, you've noticed that Light, Dark, and Earth, remain by far the most common types you will encounter. Fire is among the rarest....and divine refers to only six cards that can't really be counted. Nobody even knew they existed until they saw play in a tournament a few years ago...but they remain....beyond rare. You will absolutely never see them in play, and only three of them are even confirmed to exist. The creator god while in a class of it's own, simply goes off the theory that there were blueprints for one and it was possibly printed, but obviously never saw any distribution, possibly meant to be a prize for tournament play not meant for actual use. I don't know. But, for today what we're focusing on is going to be the Dark attribute." It was a lot to write down, but Julia stalled. "You can take a picture with your phones instead of writing it, if that helps you." She made the offer, not really caring how they retained the information as long as in the end they did. "Now, we have the top five most common types. You've all played the game long enough it should be of no surprise. Warriors, Machines, Dragons, and Fiends. We've all definitely seen these cards everywhere. But machines would be an odd choice. If these really were to represent ancient wars, why then would machine monsters be so prevalent?" "The answer is actually rather simple. If you take into account the concept of electric monsters beating light monsters and earth being in a sense the counter to light indirectly... Julia let the next image come onto screen. "Well, of course, mechanically, light monsters can still certainly beat over machines. If you want to look at this in a lore context, remember what most of light monster abilities are. They tend to be purification of the soul which while incredibly damaging to dark entities, doesn't work on being that would be in a way, an artificial kind of spirit." Spoiler "Many fairy types are often built around locking out spells or magical effects. But....of course, if you were a robot and didn't operate under normal rules...you'd easily ignore any of those tricks to slow you down and would face a lot of trouble of anything capable of just ripping them apart through sheer brute force." Spoiler
Adam gives the girl with Yumi a look over, but otherwise doesn't pay much attention to her - not being much of a jealous type, except maybe a little bit with Julia. He makes eye contact with Yumi, doing his best to give her a submissive expression, though his arrogance and the proud knowledge that his picture had turned her on make it hard for him to project much sincerity.
"Oh, that's what you meant. No, I won't let you use it on me before testing it on someone else first. Once I know it's safe, though..." Michio licks her lips hungrily. "So are you more into men or women, Felicia? No, that's a bad question..." She tries again. "Do you want to fuck another woman? And don't worry so much." The more amorous girl soothes. "I already said I'm not gonna go any farther...yet." Michio slowly rubs Felicia's inner thigh, careful to avoid getting too close to the scarred student's groin.
With the topic of their secret conversation, Felicia was completely out of depth. Never in her life has she had to experience a conversation like this, leaving her to go along with Michio's pace, leading to more and more misunderstandings. Yet with how flustered she was, the red face red-head couldn't decline, and when she did manage to do so, Michio took it the wrong way. "A-a-aaa, that's not what I-nnh." Though she was usually fierce, seeing the eye-patched girl lick her lips made Felicia feel as if she was prey being stalked by a predator. And with Michio rubbing her nylon-clad inner thighs, letting her feel the warmth coming from Felicia's crotch. "I-I-I don't know." She whimpered, shrinking on her seat to hide her embarrassment.
[10/10 effort] The students diligently copy down the presented data, most of them taking notes on everything Julia's saying as well. Even Umimaru seems to be paying attention. The exuberant Ixchel raises her hand with a question. "If the Machines are a counter to the Fairies, then what were the first Machines in the lore? And who made them?" The masked student beside the green-haired girl, who Julia now knows is named Miho Ishida thanks to her class roster, has a different concern. "This makes sense if we treat Thunder as an Attribute like LIGHT, but it's a Type instead, and Fairies aren't synonymous with LIGHT."
Spoiler: Perception Roll 21=21 fail The student soon finds a chair in the row behind Adam. Yumi, to the young man's disappointment, doesn't seem to react to his effort, but Elisa raises an eyebrow at him. The professor clears her throat. "Good afternoon, class. I am Professor Itou. Some of you may know me as 'Alecto,' but I insist that you refer to me as Professor Itou or something similar." She begins with roll call, revealing to Adam that the student who was talking with Yumi is named Ning Wu, before covering the syllabus and class requirements. By far the most interesting detail is how important performance in duels is to the course's grade. They matter nearly as much as traditional written exams for this class.
"Not what you meant?" Michio asks. "What do you mean?" Her caressing hand continues to slide back and forth along Felicia's covered leg. "Well, you got an hour of class to think about it." The eyepatched woman's arm around Felicia's back prevents the shy student from hiding as much as she would like. Yumi says something about duels being part of the grade for the class, but Felicia doesn't register most of the information.
Julia felt more focused at hearing people properly engage and she simply nodded to both of their comments. "These are all true. Not all fairies represent celestials. But fae do have a classic weakness to iron, which machines that in a general sense represent weaponry as a whole, could suggest. But while thunder when used as an attribute typically gets interlocked with WIND, thunder by itself does represent a specific set of relatively rare monsters. We will get to that. First, the most popular theory of the first machines often goes to one specific being." Spoiler "Kozaky was a brilliant if not somewhat immoral scientist of the Fiend's Dark World. While Fiend's have many realms, Dark World remains by far one of the largest and most powerful, often the only thing in the Fiend realms that can be considered to truly contest the Archfiend's rule. But as a whole, conflict between the two doesn't often happen because they don't wish it unnecessarily. Fiends do have no shortage of malicious monsters, but the Dark World Fiend's have always been portrayed as relatively harmless with violence being rare, instead of the rule. However, the Dark World Fiend's still cannot maintain control of a dark realm without being prepared for war. This, a once mortal inventor was brought into the employ of Brron, the Mad King of the Dark World. Kozaky was a mortal morbidly curious about the Dark World's ways and nature, and agreed to do it. " Spoiler "Bronn sought ways to make his army more powerful and hold onto his rule, however Kozaky was too focused on uncovering more of the Dark World and when the deadline finally crept up, he was left under immense pressure to have something to show for it." Spoiler "After his worst failure, he was barely holding together. Forced to rebuild himself through a combination of his science and dark world magic to hold himself together. While it did save his life, as more and more of his body changed, so did his mind." Spoiler "After all his work it had succeeded. " Spoiler "Bronn had got what he wanted, and had his means of creating a battle ready force. Reporting the success to his masters, the warlords, Sillva and Goldd, to Bronn's surprise, the warlords were disgusted with the horrific experiments that unfolded." Spoiler "The two reported to their master, the highest authority of the Dark World, Reign-Beaux. Only the sleeping god Grapha ranks higher in authority in the Dark World than him. Reign being the only one considered of truly worthy of speaking for his master, demanded an immediate shutdown and the arrest of Kozaky after the warlords told him of what they found." Spoiler "Kozaky....had very different ideas." Spoiler "Though the scientist may be gone, his work still exists and is believed to be the blueprints or early pioneered work of just about any out of place technology on the mortal world. While the Ancient Gear Golems have no direct connection to him, many machines, psychics, and other types are believed to have been a product of his work, Dark World science having remained far ahead of the human realm until it started to stagnate with the mortals quickly starting to outpace them as the Dark World was busy with several wars against it's enemies. Being the Dark World considers itself an ally of mankind by enforcing the peace of the underworld, they were happy to share the means to give mortals a fighting chance against beings like the Lightsworn who seek to erase anything they see as impure, or Vylons who love humanity but believe the only way to save it is through extreme tyrannical rule."
Adam actually tries to pay attention to this class, since it's about a topic he's genuinely interested in. (Sorry for the lackluster post.)
"Mmmh." Felicia lets out a muffled moan as Michio began caressing her nylon-clad thigh, unfortunately letting the eye-patched girl learn how sensitive she was. "S-stop already, w-what if someone sees." She whispers, still trying to shrink down to hide herself. But with Michio's arm on her back, Felicia's attempt to do so merely let the eye-patched girl's hand slide up toward her large breast. Though Felicia was thankful that their grades would also rely on duel, in her current predicament, too nervous as she looks around, hoping no one has realizes what they were doing all the way at the back of class.
[Sorry for the weak post. Starting to get pretty tired.] The students continue to listen attentively as time begins to the draw the class to a close.
[You're fine.] Yumi finishes covering the collection of policies and rules in short order. "For the remainder of today, I will require assistance. Would anyone like to volunteer?" The professor looks straight at Adam.
Hiding a smirk, Adam stands and moves over to stand next to Yumi by the podium. "You look wonderful, maitresse..." He whispers softly, angling away from the microphone so his voice isn't picked up. The word choice is deliberate - she'd told him to call her mistress, specifically stating the English word. Maitresse is the same word, but in French - a tiny deviation from her order, too small to punish, but an act of defiance nonetheless. "How can I help?" He says, in a proper speaking voice this time.
