Raise of dark gods

As the dark poet waited, he felt, after few days, surges of power - he could feel it clearly, with only one person supplying him. It was like there were brusts - explosions of passion! Creativity... only for them to die...

It seemed that Diana was creating things - but also destroying them, as they did not match her vision... She was trying to make a perfect art... yet, either she would succeed or burn out before achieving her target... this... might take a while...
He had expected her to be motivated but at the rate she was going, no progress would be made to spreading influence. Granted, she did need to be perfect, but they also needed a proper starting ground for other people to be inspired by and starting growing. She'd have time to get all the details right later. For now...

He opted he'd have to manifest back into the realm. He should have the energy to do it for now, though he wouldn't take to his standard two forms. Something more subtle like a songbird that would let him observe her progress without giving too much away.

'Beautiful.' A soft yet strong, compelling voice speaks out above Celine as a powerful golden light fills the small shrine, a quiet and secluded nook in the larger temple. Celine looks up to see a beaming goddess.

Her Goddess!

The light tickles across Celine's skin, the exotic and welcoming scent of the beautiful raven haired Soltari filling Celine's senses and with a wash of shame, the blond woman feels herself getting aroused by the gorgous woman infront of her!

'Celine~' Soltari's full lips form the words and her deep, honey like voice intones them as a promise that sends bursts of brilliant sensation up and down Celine's body as she floats infront of her worshiper.

Behind her deep, intense eye the Masque peers out, drinking in Celene's adoration, her stolen imposter form's own quim getting moist as the foul thing begins to dream of the way it can corrupt and twist this devout follower.

[SORRY-I forgot to check my CHYOA forum account! I'm here now, let me know if this is okay!]

{No problem - It also took me quite long to start this RP - I have included you in conversation thread about RP. If you have doubts, questions - feel free to ask them there}

Celine looked at Soltari, for a moment. Her eyes were pure, not seeing her goddess in sexual way... not yet, at least...

The blond mortal bowed her head deeply.

"My lady, it's an honour to see you." She said, her feelings genuine. "What can your servant do for you?" She inquired.

She reaches out, grabs his arm and places his hand on her chest:" Ask again."
When the ability she granted him triggers, he sees her underworld, then he sees her breeding minions, then he feels her boredom and frustration as she watches the goblin enter and leave the only room she was able to see after such a long time. She was not able to do anything until this very day. Her rage towards those that left her in a state of stagnation, speaks to him because the degradation he needs to face is even worse.
"I've not been wandering your realm exactly. But there is the same kind of rage in the both of us...they withheld you the answers you seek. The same gods that sought to doom me to stagnation, seek to sow degradation where it pleases them." She says matter-of-factly.

She loosens her grip on his arm, the corners of her mouth moving upwards and says:" Your rage show you are ambitious, have a vision. In the midst of chaos, there is also oppertunity. So, how about you take up the one you walked in to?"

The man pales as he saw visions of underworld, felt feelings of rage.

He stayed stunned, looking at goddess, his mouth open. The visions, memories - they shook him.

Then he slowly shook his head.

"No."

He said shortly as he walked to the table.

"That alcohol is to strong... I am starting going mad!" He exclaimed, pointedly ignoring the goddess' presence. "It's lack of sleep - alcohol and tiredness must be messing with my senses!" He continued ranting... while opening another bottle of spirits...

"I... what?" The woman recoiled at the revelation. It seemed she did not know.

The woman was in awe of the changes she witnessed - one after the other... it made her full of hope... need...

"I accept!" She said almost without hesitation... there was still some attachment to the previous goddess... but that could be changed, manipulated. The question was, if the local goddess would notice the change in the cursed girl... or rather, when she would notice it...
"Yes - it seems your problem was a simple curse. Your old goddess could have healed it - she must have felt it every time you knelt to pray, and yet she did nothing. Curious. It matters little. The past matters little. All that matters is the future.'' Vailar moves around behind the woman, her delicate hands reaching around her waist to caress her curvy body. ''Soon, so very soon, you'll be a true beauty. A mere look at you will fill the hearts of men and women with desire. From an outcast, you'll be the toast of every ball. There remains just one thing for you to do for me before the blessing: You must choose how you wish to look - unless you wish me to choose for you.''

As Xiara recovered in the void, she realised that the flow of power changed... but not as much as she desired.

It seemed that the elf, while believing her to be goddess, did not really worship her... at least not yet. That was to be expected. AFter all, Xiara kind forced her blessing...

But that was alright - the connection between them was established. The dark elf worked like a buoy - a red spot Xiara could easily find in materium and move in it's general area...

The question was, when should she move... when elf leaves the forest... when she is in trouble... or when she calls her... Or maybe~
Xiara was content to bide her time. The dark elf could hear the sound of nature now, or at least faintly. The goddess wasn't entirely sure to what extent she could hear it. Whether it was something that was a constant sound in the background, or a faint whisper when she focused her mind. However, eventually, she would return to nature at some point. The only question was when...................................

Of course, if she was in danger, then Xiara would act as well. The goddess couldn't risk having her only decent connection be put in danger.

Alea opened her mouth to say something, but then resigned of it.

"Of course, whatever you want." She shrugged. Clearly, she still did not believe in Zimara's divinity. "Listen," she said as she sat near the pot. "You did help me, but I am uncomfortable sharing my life and predicament with stranger." She said as she politely refused Zimara's request. "I don't know anything about you... that makes it hard to trust you~ you understand, right?"
“I understand.” Zimara nodded, not minding that Alea had refused her request. “Well, there isn't much to say about me. I am Zimara, Goddess of Winter, and the person who saved your life by giving you my blessing while you were unconscious.” As she spoke the goddess sat down as well, and took a pose that left her pussy and large breasts exposed and constantly within the elf's sight. “I was hoping that you would return the favor and help me find followers, with you being the first one.” She explained, choosing not to beat around the bush. “As you can probably guess, being the favored servant of a goddess has its benefits...”

Guilog… was trapped. Floating above the water, she could see the sky… yet there was no wind in the waters of the swamp. The place she entered into the material… it was empty of minds to manipulate. There were only plants and bugs.

The night and day changed one after the other, yet no one came into this place. Only animals.

But, as much trapped as she felt, it mattered little. She could wait – she had time.

One night, she looked up, at the night-sky. The starts twinkled and two moons moved in dance – so free~

She turned as she realized that there was another light in darkness. A red glow above the trees.

Curious, she called one of her Will-o-the-wisps – the drain almost knocked her back out of materium. She was weak… so weak…

Go~

She order it. The wisp left. She looked up at the sky – the red aura flickered and grew larger… then, it started becoming lesser.

She looked down – her Will-o-the-wisps was returning… and a boy trailed behind it, covered in mud and blood, the boy trailed after the light, falling to his knees tight in front of the lake…

This place...it is strange. Life all around, but nary a soul nor a mind. Guilog's primary line of thought simply observes her surroundings--well, the surroundings of her minuscule physical presence on this plane. It shall be difficult to empower us here. Another voice within her chimes. Yet, another still interjects, we shant be seen until we are prepared to reveal ourself. Content to simply wait, Guilog remains near where her form manifested in this world, observing, studying these odd, half-living beings which fill the muddy swamps. No. These are no life forms. They are! They are simple and soulless, but they yet live! As her thoughts bicker, Guilog doesn't even notice the passage of time.

This one! This one possesses a soul! Yes! We feel it within the creature! What manner of being is it? The Great Wisp's thoughts race as the boy approaches her. She uses her command of the winds to float above the mud. The exertion for such a small feat shouldn't be trying, even in her current weakness. A human. Our form is near to his. She realizes before calling out to the boy, her novel, unused voice a choking croak which contrasts with her form's radiant splendor. "Greetings, human." Unleash us! No! We shall not shatter this one so readily! Guilog simply allows the parts of herself to argue while her strongest inclination--that of neutrality--takes the fore. Her voice now sounds every bit as elegant as she looks at first glance. "You follow my will. Why is this?"

As he pondered the idea, the solution came naturally... he could just not show himself to mortal - stay invisible!

He moved to the material - and found himself in the street of small town...

He felt Diana being in one of the houses, near him... He made his way to the tavern - and in one of the rooms, he found her. Face and hands were covered in paint, pastels, as she painted. There were destroyed paintings laying near the wall.
The current painting was surprisingly good... she must have had experience. The scene in the painting showed the two of them and some of his minions... and it was good... but he quickly found the problem. Diana tried to capture his god's spark and put it on canvas... that was obviously impossible for a mortal, and that was driving her mad.

"No, no~" She started shaking her head. "The goddess would not turn away, from her high-priestess's daughter, there was no way... " She paused, as slowly a realistaion dawned upon her... "Unless it was..." She started, but was unable to finish, for a moment. "Unless, High Priestess..." Here body hunched, and shook as a realisation washed over her...

She was vonuorable in hands of Vailar... and meldable.

Alea looked at Zimara, her eyes wide with desbelive.

"Great... I was rescued by horny exhibitionist sorcresss with delusions of granduor." She murmured quietly to herself - but Zimara heard it anyway. "So, you need to recruit people, yes?" She stated, misinterpreting Zimara's straight answer. "What job do you need the to do?" She asked. "Like, are they to get something for you, build you something?" She continued her line of questioning.

As he flew down in his simple form to observe, it was a mix of amusement...and also....what was it? Concern? At least on some level. Watching a mortal trying to capture his talents would normally be hilarious, but this presented an actual problem. Despite her impressive skill, it wasn't quite enough on it's own. More importantly, a lot of the technique seemed more instinctive than magically attuned. It supplemented her abilities, not directing them. It was nearly invisible to anyone else, but he could tell the differences. It was nice to know she had actual talent.

While maybe making his usual avatar would make her happy, it would defeat the whole purpose. Instead, he had to take a less direct approach and remaining in the form of a bird flew to perch itself close nearby and sing. While the melody and vocals might be changed, he knew exactly how to do it to evoke and recapture that sense of emotion she had before. Remembering the experience more clearly would help.

The boy fell on his knees as he faced the dark goddess. He looked at her with eyes... empty. Was it schock? Or something else?

"Your will?" He repeated, his voice numb... "It's first time I see you... I did not follow your orders..." He said, his voice lightly surprised...

As the little bird started singing, power flowing through it's voice, Diana's hand started moving in tandem.

A brush, as swish - the movements started to be erratic, as Diana moved as in dream... movements were chaotic, yet there was a pattern there, and what they created started shaping into really good art... created by mortal, but still...

Finally, she finished. And it was a good painting - not as good as the dark good would make, but still good...

Diana continued looking at it, assessing it... and, despite it being the best it created, she was still not satisfied... It looked like she considered if she should just destroy this piece as well...

After a few days of waiting, the woman supringly called Xiara on her own. As she felt the tugging of her senses, she looked into materium. The elf was sitting right ext to the fireplace, looking at the fire.

"Are you here?" She asked.
"I am never far, mortal. Although you could have chosen a better place for it." Xiara opted to manifest herself once again for the elf. She appeared a few paces away from the fireplace and slightly obscured in shadow. Fire never bothered her. It was, for the most part, another part of the natural way of things. However, being summed outside of the comforts of her forested home made her skin bristle and slightly irritable.

"I didn't expect you to call to me so soon. Are you enjoying your new gift?" The goddess crossed her arms underneath her hefty cleavage.

"Gift..." The woman said quietly, deep in thought. "You changed me... made me more like..." Her mouth twisted. "Forest elfs." She almost snarled as she said it.

For some time, she sat in silence, contemplating... then she sighted.

"What do you want?" She asked, her tone tired. "From me... and for what prize?" She looked at Xiara, her eyes serious... but also tired.

Alea looked at Zimara, her eyes wide with desbelive.

Zimara chuckled. “No, my dear. You got saved by a goddess with delusions of grandeur.” She insisted. “It's alright if you don't believe me just yet – you will in time, as will many others. Anyway, I want you to spread the word about me and make people believe in me – the more people worship me the better. As for building some for me... sure, why not. A small temple dedicated to me would be a good start, with you as its high priestess.” She explained as she watched the elf eat.

Alea choked on the meat as she heard Zimara.

"Y-you-cought, fought - you sure are deep into that..." She shook her head. "I am grateful, and will help you find a few poor souls to work with... but worship?" She shook her head. "I doubt that I will be able to help you with that." She took a bite of the meal. "As for high priestess - sorry, I am not interested in the job." She explained.

“You will be, in time.” Zimara brushed off the objection. Then she decided to change tactics a bit and prove a point. “Before we continue there is something I need to do. Hold still for a moment.” The goddess waited until the elf had swallowed her food, then grabbed her head with both hands, holding her in place, and kissed her on the lips again. Only this time instead of giving her power she drew out the power she had given earlier, taking back the blessing and leaving the elf fully exposed to the cold. “There. How do you feel now, my dear?” She smiled sweetly after breaking the kiss.

(I assume Zimara can do that, yes? Taking back her own blessing?)

"Gift..." The woman said quietly, deep in thought. "You changed me... made me more like..." Her mouth twisted. "Forest elfs." She almost snarled as she said it.

"It is true. You are not quite the kind of person that I would normally have an affinity with, but you have potential." The snake goddess approached to the full light. The goddess surmised that the discordant sounds around her were troubling her. Well, she could certainly help to give the advice to improve her situation as the dark elf seemed to have not had a restful sleep for a couple of days.

"What I want from you is what a goddess wants from any mortal. Love, praise, adoration. Those things give us strength and allow us to interact with the materium." She curled her way around the mortal again. Assuming she didn't avoid her touch. "I am guessing that your new gift has made it difficult to rest. There are a few things you can do to alleviate the sound and make it less discordant. The Evermarch is more just like white, fuzzy noise that gets more troublesome the farther away from nature you get. If you didn't want to travel, you could bring nature to you. Even a few potted plants may help balance the noise....and eschewing your clothing will also help."

"As for what prize i can give you..." the goddess chuckled, "There are many things I can do for a mortal who shows proper devotion. Just think: I managed to grant you special ears and hearing and you never have even heard of me. What could I do for you if you were a devoted follower? I could grant you Protection...Magic...Power. I'm sure I can offer you something that you want."
