“By your logic, if they could do whatever they wanted with it, then they could refuse to accept it as payment – which is exactly what they did.” Zimara pointed out. “Based on what you told me it sounds like your people tried to alter the deal on their own, without making sure the other side would agree to it. But from their point of view your people were trying to screw them out of the money they had been promised.” She gave Alea a firm look. “I would be a lot more sympathetic to your plight if your country had been betrayed by its allies. But it seems to me like your people brought this on themselves by starting too many wars and alienating their allies by trying to screw them over and not pay them what they had been promised.” She gave the elf a few moments to think over what the goddess had said. “In light of what you have told me I see no reason to let you rob these people. I will allow you to take some coins, since you clearly need them, but if you want more than that, you will have to persuade me – and them. How you do that is up to you.” She declared with finality as she stared the elf down, waiting for her reply.
"Don't break into government buildings yet and stay away from priests. Don't reveal yourself to people in power. Break into houses if you have to. Breed those who are already corrupted and lead those already corrupted to a safe place." Heavy breathing cut her sentences short. Her minion listens obediently. "The first two are general rules the last three are dependent on what you need to do to fulfill your task." Exhausted from this ordeal, she teleports back to her underworld.
The problem the goddess faced, was her limited range of her influence. She could only see in a limited distance from her chosen. That covered the eleven village. A village of hunters, gatherers... not really artists. But, there were a few that took in her interest. A hunter, who searches perfection with each fired arrow. A healer who seeks knowledge, that some would consider forbidden. A bored housewife, dreaming of thrill...
"They agreed and received a payment!" Alea looked scandalized. "They backed of out of the deal, after they were paid!" "Because you set it up so we could not give it back!" The bound woman bit back. "We were busy with fucking war, and people who we paid, refused to deliver!" Alea screamed back. The exchange continued for a moment. "So," Alea paused and looked at Zimara. "So I have to convince them... by any means?" She asked, some glee entering her voice.
As she finished giving orders, she moved back to the void. Sinrah, was spent after her time in the material... but she did leave her minion there. It took her a moment to realise with a curse on her lips, that her little critter will be in the material only for a limited amount of time. Her mind extended to it's and she could influence, even control it. But she had maybe an hour to move him around... an hour she should better use to the best of her abilities.
“Almost any means. They are of no use to anyone dead, plus if you kill or maim them it will attract too much unwanted attention. You don't want the guards chasing you.” Zimara pointed out. She wanted to see what Alea would do, but she wasn't about to waste the lives of potential worshipers without a good reason. “And you need to persuade me after that.” She reminded the elf.
Alea frowned. "Oh, come one!" She pouted. "What they did is treason, and that needs to be punished!" She all but protested... She stopped for a moment and started thinking. "You don't have maybe a curse or - oh?" She looked as if she got idea. "How about this then? I will make them your followers~" She said with a smile that was somewhat sadistic.
“You have yet to convince me of that.” Zimara replied flatly. “But sure, go ahead and try to make them my followers. I'd love to see how you plan to do that. However, to make things a bit more interesting and to give you a reason to do your best, if you fail I will allow them to punish you for trying to rob them.” The goddess announced as she took a seat and waited to see what the elf would do.
"Oh, that's pretty simple, your protection covers only them~" Aleas said loudly as she walked to the pair and put the gags back into their mouths. "Not their kids~" The two immadietly started screaming into their gags with the declaration.
“Technically correct, but hurting or killing their kids is even more likely to attract unwanted attention than killing them would.” Zimara pointed out. “Still, I am going to wait and see what you do before I interfere... but know that I do have my limits, even if they are for pragmatic reasons rather than moral ones.”
"Spoilsport." Alea clicked her tongue. She then looked at Zimara. She opened her mouth to say something, she shook her head. She then walked up to the bound pair and started re-arranging their bodnage. Whatever she planned, it seemed that it would take long time... and Zimara was not sure if she would be able to stay that long present in this dimension...
“Seems like this will take a while.” Zimara noted as she observed what Alea was doing. “Staying here to watch will be a waste of time that could be better spent elsewhere, especially when I don't need to be present to observe. So I will leave you to it and go speak to other people – but I will be keeping an eye on you, my dear. I will know if you manage to convert them to my worship...” The goddess did not wait for a reply, leaving the mortal realm right away. She kept her focus on Alea for a bit longer to see how the elf would react to her vanishing, and if there was nothing requiring her immediate attention she would look for other potential worshipers.
As she observed the situation a while longer, it seemed that Alea was going to use the kids to somehow interact with their parents... and it seemed, that her intervention shall not be required. That left Zimara with what she had before she entered this realm, some free time~ She could try observing the situation around her followers, observe Alea or toy in her underworld...
She makes her minion seek out the goblins thoughts about itself. And then she has him look for that other goblin-gangbang-enjoying-slut in the town. The minion is to overwhelm her and breed her...maybe she has high ranking friends Sinrah can "convince" or knows some other women with connections.
Since nothing seemed to requite her immediate attention Zimara decided to try and find more potential followers. Elisa was a good start, but far from enough.
"I am sure it will be fine, Nebe. Afterall, being wrapped up in a few tentacles is likely a small inconvenience compared to the tight chains and whips of slavery. Besides, I had to teach them that i am no simple creature of the forest." One by one the goddess unwrapped the former slaves. Although the last one to be unwrapped was the one directly ahead of her. She wanted to tease that one just a little bit longer before she too was left go.
