The young man looked at the ball of flame with wonder for a moment, before Victor let out a yelp as he was propelled into the air. It was an exhilarating feeling, looking out over the school grounds. Remembering to toss the ball, he swung his arm aiming somewhere in the sky. His stomach sank, as he reached the apex and started to fall. Panic started to set in. 'Shiiiit—Mikhailaaaaah!' he cried out, accelerating back towards the earth. He could only pray that she would catch him.
"Yeah, not great. I know. But there's no point in lying about it." This was about what he expected. Biting the bullet now would make things easier around him later. "I mean, not like there's going to be an easy way to drop that one. Hiding it would just make this talk a lot more awkward later. And I think on some level, you at least respect that I have the balls to tell you than try sneaking around you." He gave Vincent a bit of a look, trying to access his thought process. Though he gave him a dead serious look that would make it clear he was telling him the truth. "And seriously. I'm not going to do anything she's not ready for."
"Money. That's what she wants." He notices that there's something she doesn't want to say, but doesn't want to push it just yet. Out loud, he just shrugs. "Now that I know you guys have health insurance, I see no problem with trashing this vehicle." His limbs being bound limits his ability to use his powers, but he still vibrates in the chair, a determination to free himself evident. "Honey, you've got a big storm coming."
Tia quickly wrote back to her parents that she was alright. She picked up a schedule and prepared equipment for the next day classes. After that was done, as the day was still early, she decided to walk around a little, to familiarize herself with the new grounds.
Though she did not show it openly Sophia could not help but feel pleased at the reactions she had gotten from the other women on the table. Seems like sis can't help but stare - I should tease her a little later. Mouse clearly wants more of me – maybe I'll let her have more later, she was quite good at eating me out last night... Somewhere above him, Victor hears a loud boom, but he's not able to focus on that, given the speed with which the ground is rising up to meet him. At the last moment, he closes his eyes instinctively, ready to crash into the dirt, when he feels himself landing in something soft. Opening them, he sees that Mikhaila caught him, holding him up in her arms for a moment and he feels her curvy body pressing against him before she starts gently lowering him so he can get his feet on the ground. "That was perfect. Thanks, man." She beams.
Helene looks at Lucas, seemingly still surprised at his boldness, before Vincent shrugs. "Like I said, Miri don't need my permission." Despite his words, he nods his head in a symbol of tenuous but genuine permission.
Heading around the complex, Tia sees people - generally people her own age - walking and also familiarising themselves with the ground. She sees the rec center, the training facilities, and the old schoolhouse, all open.
As the meal begins, Mouse moves her foot away, digging into her food ravenously, as Sophia's mother and father pretend not to notice the breach of etiquette. "I know what you're doing, sis." Sophia's sister leans in, whispering into her ear. "Trying to tease your own family..." She chuckles.
'A-Any time, no sweat,' Victor tried to brush it off as he stood back on his feet, but it was evident that he was quite a bit concerned at the end there, 'That sure was quite exciting, a hell of a experience.'
Mark squeezes her hand, returning the smile. "Well, it's a little late for most things, but if you wanted to hit up a club, I'd love to dance with you a little."
"Heh, sorry I left it to the last moment, but you were safe the entire time. Totally safe. Totally." She smirks. "Seriously, though, thanks for that. If you need someone to pair up with some time, just come find me - I think I can say I owe you." +3 Relationship - Mikhaila
“Alright. So we got that out of the way.” Lucas gave it a somewhat casual tone but it was what he wanted. Would make him lower his guard around Helene a bit if he figured he was totally focused on Miri. Though he’d probably be watching closely for now anyway to still vet him. Older siblings were always protective of their younger ones. Even… “So, now that we got that landmine out of the way, we should probably get to know each other properly if we’re going to the same place. Usually the best way to break the ice is drinking, unless you stay away from that?” Lucas made a point of his tone to make it clear it was an effort to be friendly than a judgement.
"Now you are speaking our language." Helene smirks, breaking some of the ice that had been threatening to form. "We have some here, but we could also head into the city."
"Ah, shit." The woman grunts, before drawing her pistol and racking the slide. Before either of them can make a move, though, something slams into the side of the vehicle, hard, and she and her goons go flying into the far wall hard enough to dent it. He feels the vehicle swerving as the driver tries desperately to regain control, almost giving him whiplash as he sits, bound to the chair.
'It's alright, it all went okay in the end, that's what matters. You're very welcome,' Victor said, 'I'll take you up on that some time.' He shrugged, 'Well, unless you have something else planned, I think I might head back to the dorm. You gonna keep training out here?'
“Checking out the proper layout of the city wouldn’t hurt anything, if you’re game. But might still be good not to get too crazy. At least on the first day.” He had to avoid getting himself too much trouble early on, but aside from that, showing he had at least some sense would help things a bit.
“Nothing wrong with a little harmless teasing. Who knows when I will get another chance like this... Besides, you, at the very least, do not seem to mind, sis...” Sophia whispered back in Julia's ear and chuckled as well, then began eating her own food. The maids had done such a great job, it would be a waste to not eat it and let it get cold, after all. There would be more chances to tease her sister and mother later...
