As she was leaving, Icena meet Kina near the door. "Hey, looser! Mistress ordered to have this prepared for you!" She said as she gave a bag of coins to Icena. "Good luck!" ... After some time, Icena stopped in front the alley - it looked completely different, now in day light.
"Found it!" One of the bandits called as he opened one of carts. Inside was... Valerian couldn't see well, but something large and ornamental... a box? swish! He glanced in direction of sound - one of bandits was walking with a spear and jabbing the bodies of the guards, finishing them off! And he was closing on the vampire.
Rina looked at the doors, remebering her dream. She know that she shouldn't try to open them, she wasn't ready yet... But on other hand... This was tempting to check it out. "What to do, what to do..." She said to herself and toss a coin in the air. If it will eagle, she will go to training. If reverse... Rina will just take a peek inside. From peek it woun't hurt anybody, right?
As Rina looked around she found no one in the area - no wonder, she was after all in lower levels. She slowly made her way to the door and pulled - with a light cringing, the door opened, showing off a dark chamber... but wait! There was something in the center! A table maybe? A box? She could not see from this position...
Rina carefool step forward, looking for any trap or alarm. She knew, that she shouln't be here, but something draging her forward. But on other hand, if this was something important, the door would be locked, right?
Seeing the Bandit approach and the others distracted by whatever was in the box. It seemed the best opportunity to strike out. Hopefully he could defeat the bandits quickly and flee while the others were distracted. He waited for the Bandit to get close and attempted to climb to his feet quickly and strike with two kicks. Icena rolled her eyes at Kina's greeting. “Thanks. I'll see you later.” She took the bag of coins and headed out. The alley looked completely different in the day light, but it was still the same place. First she looked around to make sure there were no other people there, then started examining the area in search of any clues about the attackers.
Rina slowly slipped in, her eyes darting over to the center. As she slowly approached it, she realized it was long, low box. Well, not really low, it reached her waist but was around... 3 meters high? Had half of it in width... It was very ornamental. It looked expensive...
Rina stare at the box and look around for any rope or lewar what could trigger trap or alarm. With nothing see, she slowly open the box, carefully to not break it.
The man swayed as Valerian attacked, the second kick threw him on the ground, knocked out. But now, every present bandit turned their attention at him.
As she looked around, she could find that unfortunately, since days past, she could not see anything that would hel her. There were no traces. There street level was not occupied, but she did not see anything of note - maybe expect a gash on the wall, right below the window of one of apartments.
Time to bravely run away. Valerian took off as quickly as he could, knowing he couldn't fight a small army of Bandits. He could only hope the dangers of the forest were better than the death he would suffer at the hands of the bandits.
Icena sighed as she found nothing of use to her. Still, she decided to have another look around and see if she could find any indication of what weapons the attackers had used. It was more of an excuse to stick around while considering her next move. Once she was done with her examination Icena let out another sigh and decided to carefully ask around, in the hope that someone had heard or seen something related to the attack.
Not seeing any alarms, Rina walked up to the box. The various drawings depicted battlefields, weapons, and bloody deaths as well scenes of sexual conquest. As she touched it, a green energy flashed over the box- Rina found herself standing, confused in the room. The box was gone. She looked around and had to close her eyes as air became brighter. She looked at figure made of light seating on throne. "Do you seek power?" He asked.
As he run through the forest, he could feel the branches strike him - as if forest was hunting for him. The voices behind him only made him move faster- ! Suddenly he was on ground, hand pressed against his mouth. "Quiet!" The female urged - he recognized the voice! It was Slate!
The search brought nothing and nobody seemed to know anything. Granted at the time, there would be few people around... her eyes flickered back to the gash on the wall... and paused. Her eyes moved to the window above the damage... it should have a good view of the alley...
Rina looked around where box could be gone. It can not disappear from simple touch, right? As she get confussed by sudden light and vision she look at misterious figure on the throne. "Do I seek power? Yes, but why are you asking me?" She said without thinking twice. "Who are you?"
Icena looked at the window. If someone was living there, and had been awake during the attack – or had woken up due to the fighting – then she could get some information... Kinda a long shot, but the only option she had. With no other ideas she went to ask the people living there.
There was a pause, suddenly a flash of power and Rina found herself on her knees, barely able to breath. Such power! Her entire body shook. "Submit to me... and I shall grant you power beyond your imagination." The beeing demanded... and Rina had a feeling... he could deliver.
As Icena walked up the building, to the first floor and knocked the door, she had to wait. After a moment, a woman opened her door. "Yes?" She asked with a frown. Spoiler: Woman
