It took significant effort for Icena to stop herself from ogling the barely-dressed woman. “I am sorry to bother you, miss. I'd like to ask you a couple of quick questions. May I come in?”
The woman frowned as she looked at Icena. There was a spark of recognition in her eyes. "Come in." She waved her hand, and stepped aside, allowing space in the door.
“Thank you.” Icena nodded to the woman and walked inside. She seems to recognize me. That means she did see something last night...
In the first instinct Rina want to do it right now, but on second thought she doesn't like submit to anyone. Except her mistress, that is only because she teaches her more techniques. "What is the prize of the submission? There is always prize to pay, so I want to know know it before agree for anything." She said, knowing that being is probably more powerful than her mistress.
As she passed her, the woman closed the door after a moment. Then she walked past her. "Wine?" She offered as she walked up to the kitchen part of small apartment - her body smelling fresh and her hair wet.
There was a chuckle as Rina asked this. "Your submission... servitude." The voice explained. "Obedience. Loyalty."
Rina think about it, what kind of submission it will be for her if she will be lower than this being? If it mean lower than sorceress, than it won't make sense for her. "Okey, but how much power do we talk about here? Did I could with that take down my teacher or it will just to you? Sorry, but I give you my servitude, it make me lower than before? In the first place, why are you here? Did my mistress catch you in these box?"
“Yes, thank you.” Icena replied after just a moment of hesitation. Her gaze focused on the woman's barely-covered ass for a moment, then she forced herself to look away and take a look around the small apartment instead.
The being did not answer and was just quiet. Suddenly Rina felt his power - it was crashing on her, making her fall to her knees - she couldn't breath, she couldn't stand, she couldn't speak, she couldn't move. It was even hard to keep her eyes open. She thought she was going to puke, to pass out, to burn, to freeze... ! Then it was over. She fell on the ground breathing heavily, a goosebumps covering her skin. "Power." The beeing simply said.
The apartment was poorly furnished, but there were richer elements here and there - a vase, a stacked food shelf, good looking robes among others. On the side of the room, but with some distance from the wall, was a tube full of water, with coals still hot underneath it. It was a rather expensive piece of furniture. Icena noticed the window that brought her here. "Here you are." The woman said as she gave Icena a cup with wine. She herself had also a cup, but this one with water.
“Thank you.” Icena took the offered cup and looked at it for a moment as she thought what to say next. Then she looked at the woman. “Earlier it seemed like you recognized me...”
The woman shrugged, her large breasts bouncing a little, as she took a sip from her cup. "Might have seen you around the city." She gave an answer. "That goes to about quarter of a population of the city. I seen them somewhere..." She put the cup down. "So, yes. You seem familiar."
“Right...” Icena looked at the woman and decided to ask directly. “A few nights ago a fight took place in the alley just outside your home. How much of it did you see?”
The woman glanced at Icena and raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?" She asked, tilting her head. There was a sense of falseness in her reply.
The woman was clearly playing dumb, which was... curious, but Icena decided not to jump to conclusions. “The back alley you can see through your window. Some fighting took place there and I highly doubt it was so quiet that you did not hear. Ring any bells?”
"What you are describing, is basically every third day that happens here." The woman said with disregard.
“Really, now.” Icena tilted her head as she looked at the woman. “Anything I can do to help you recall that particular night?”
The woman hummed, as she gave Icena a look over. "Well, I can think of a couple of things~" She said as her eyes slowly roamed over the Cyromancer's silhouette.
“Well, how about you pour yourself a cup of wine instead of simple water? Then we could sit down and have a drink together while you tell me what you have in mind...” Icena suggested as the woman's eyes roamed all over her body.
The woman chuckled as she shook her head. "I don't drink wine so early in a day." She smiled. "But seems you are not opposed to the idea." She got up and walked to one of shelves, then returned with a bottle. "Allow me to put you some more~"
