Which dead story would you most like to see come back to life?

I'm not talking zombies here, I mean stories that are unfinished leaving readers clambering for more.

Mine is My Daughter's New Boyfriend by Wilparu.

 

Couple potential candidates come to mind, but I would have to give this to "Becoming a warrior" from almax

It's an extremely ambitious game mode project that I can't even fathom the amount of work that had to be poured into. Would love to see it finished.

 

I don't know that one, I'll have to check it out.

 

There are a couple of older fanfic stories/storylines from other sites - BEAdventure, Superstories - some of which migrated here for a little while, some of which are lost to time - that wouldn't mind seeing resurrected, or at least certain storylines continued, like in Susan Storm's Secret Life or Marvel Psychiatrist. The writing on those stories wasn't always great, but there was a charm to some of them, and some of the plotlines had potential that was never fully realized.

I would love to see “Living in Your Sister’s Shadow” by ThreeNipps make somewhat of a comeback or at least get a proper ending that rounds everything off and gives some closure.

That story not having an ending is what got me into writing erotica. My first bigger story that I didn’t end up deleting is heavily inspired by LIYSS and is really only just my way of writing a version of that story with a proper ending lol.

 

I agree, LIYSS is one I’d love to see return.

There are quite a few branches and stories I wish would continue.
Frank's branch from The Affection Multiplier (ThreeNipps).
Daddy's Perspective branch from Brainwashed (Bran_Hopewell).
Hotwife Adventures by Scarletgold00.
Cuckquean branch from My Wife, Kendra (billapeel), or actually, that story in general.
EmmaCastledines Couple Goes Travelling.
Also a few of the branches in The Anything Promise are really good, but much too short, or start off good but goes off the rails (or at least in a path I personally don't like) way too fast.

Looking at my favorites it feels like there are branches that are missing, or maybe I wrote a branch in my dreams, and then didn't finish it? Like I feel some of them had a specific branch, but there's nothing there? Like, didn't Please don't say yes have a branch of both cuckquean and some kind of hotwife situation?

 

There are some abandoned branches in The Lilith Strain I'm dying to see continued quite honestly

 

I must be wrong, but THIS is what I thought that the "Adopt" thread was for.

 

Not necessarily, a story might still be owned by an active author but they have stopped adding to it for a long time. I have stories myself which I have not written new chapters for in ages and they still receive views and get favourited.

 

Idk what classifies as a zombie story, but it'd be a dream come true for me if Duduvar decided to start writing on his "Custom Girls" route again. Not really a story that can be finished as it's kinda just smut for smuts sake, but it is one of only like 5 stories I've ever read that perfectly portrayed all my preferences. It still had LOADS of untapped potential for further escalation. I could say the same for Dorling and TellerofTallTales routes on "Custom Girls" as well.

As for a story with actual plot, I'd love it if Sotf came back and finished "Gifts from a Demoness". He was somewhere between a quarter and a third of the way done with it I'd estimate, and he left it on such a juicy cliffhanger.

And just as an honorable mention: Henry Kajitani's story "ENF at the Diner", as that's the story that led me to discover Chyoa after reading it on another site and googling the authors name. It's one of my favorite nostalgia faps and a continuation of it would be such a welcome throw back.
