Bad Halloween Story Ideas

I have been inspired by the recent discussions here to publish my first work on the site, which will be a collection of short stories, written one a day across October.

The basic premise is that each story will follow a particular supernatural creature and what they get up to on Halloween, with some relishing the opportunity to more easily infiltrate mortal society and others taking advantage of some other aspect of the holiday. I am hoping that this will help improve my writing and expand my range (I am also planning to let one or both of the prompt lists published in the discord server inspire me). Feel free to steal this idea (which is hardly my own cuttingly original thought) for your own stories, short or otherwise.

A coven of witches (read: bored wives club that does new age crystal stuff for fun) try to do a "health and youth" spell that ends up working.


...with multiple unintended side effects and costs they weren't aware of.


Up to the writer if this means body horror, anthro transformations, comedic "how will I explain to my family that I look 25 years younger!?" or worse results. (Maybe the youth has to come from somewhere and this leads to the witch needing to sacrifice a victim like their annoying husband or 20yo kid by seducing them and draining their life away?)

Gloria Fortunado has been entombed alive...except for a single hole. A gloryhole. Can she survive long enough by sucking cock to escape this terrible fate? What other tortures does Monstressor have in store for her, physical and psychological, while she languishes in her prison?
 
Harem Hotel: Undead Edition
A necromancer mumbles the incantation to draw the attention of the Gods of Death, thinking it will aid him in his quest to return his one true love to life...

...instead, he ends up as the contestant on a very peculiar gameshow. His harem consists of zombies, recently raised from the grave - and through their efforts and the machinations of the dark powers running this infernal entertainment, they may improve themselves. Restore their former beauty, or improve on it. Gain strange new powers with which to serve their master. Or descend utterly into mindless wights, their souls lost to an eternity of damnation. One - and only one - may receive the gift of true rebirth. But who shall it be? And what disgusting, degrading acts are they willing to do to be their master's favorite?

A succubus escapes from hell during Halloween and is mistaken for someone in a (slutty) Halloween costume. What better place to go than a student party with drunk and promiscious young men and women to feast on? (The same concept works with a vampire or even a ghost possessing someone.)

EDIT: Especially the ghost possessing someone works because you can go all in on "their eyes have gone full pupilless white and their skin is sickly pale, but people just think those are cool contact lenses and makeup" category.

I would like to see this concept become an actual story maybe in the spooky seasons Halloween Competition of 2026.
 
This is NOT in the funeral etiquette!


As the family and servants gather for the funeral of dearly beloved (cruel tyrant) Countess Evgenia Chernysnov (mainly they are just making sure that the old bitch is finally dead and that the next generation can put their claws into her vast riches and territories), they are shocked to see her rise from the coffin looking very alive, and also extremely horny.

The shock of this miracle is replaced by confusion and then lust as she countess celebrates her revitalisation by giving her loving touch and offering her body to those present. At first they don't even notice the guards blocking the doors to the church from outside but as the orgy reaches a climax, some have maintained enough composure to notice that the Countess is draining more than just cum from her companions.
