Good point! That wording didn’t make sense for a missing user page. I’ve updated the 404 page to use more appropriate messages for profiles, stories, and chapters. Thank you!
Okay, the latest update to the notifications no longer specifies which chapter got the like, just the story that got the ike. Except I track those likes on a spreadsheet to help decide which branch gets the next chapter, so that basically makes that tracking impossible.
Relatedly, but also far more trivial--For those of us who don't get quite so many likes on our chapters, it's a shame to miss out on the dopamine hit that comes with getting a bunch of notifications when someone does like multiple chapters. I believe the original feedback was complaining more about likes on comments than chapters. Maybe it makes sense to distinguish between the two with this new feature?
When creating a link chapter using the black skin, the box that holds the name of the chapter to be linked to has #f2f2f2 background (due to rule `.ts-wrapper.multi .ts-control > div`) and #f5f5f5 text (due to rule `body[data-rx_background="black"] #content .ts-control .item`), making it nearly impossible to read.
Thanks! This is now fixed. Chapter likes and bookmarks appear separately again and link to the exact chapter.
Actions with multiplication seem to raise the "This chapter does not offer that story action." error when the action buttons are activated.
Thanks for letting me know. I assume this was just a temporary hiccup with our server provider. If you continue to see Cloudflare timeout errors, please let me know again and I’ll take a closer look.
Couple issues in game mode writing I have run into: 1) In this formula... {action "Add Sense" once set game:catseyeroll += (game:sense + game:sensemod) * 2} Something is stopping it from saving the chapter as long as that * 2 is there. If removed it works fine, or if changed instead to / 2 for division. A workaround is to add equivalent to the multiplication desired, but from my understanding, multiplication should be working. 2) I entered a functional chapter in edit to reorder some inventory variables, moving them from the bottom of a list containing non-inventory variables and inventory variables. When I saved the page, it accepted the change. But for whatever reason, every variable I had moved over seemed to disappear. Going back into edit, there were numerous stop errors that needed to be fixed by re-entering the variables. Thankfully, the effect was evident and it wasn't too much trouble to redefine them, but it seemed like it had potential to be pretty disruptive. 3) It seems like inventory isn't arranging according to the order I've defined these new variables. See attached pictures. I'm not sure what's determining the order in this case.
I've been having an issue with game state changes disappearing from a chapter. Like I'll enter 10 game state changes, save & close without problem, and then later I'll go back in to that chapter and 2 or 3 are completely missing and have to be re-entered. It doesn't happen often, but it has happened 3 or 4 times in the last couple weeks, no pattern that I've been able to notice. The variables themselves don't seem to be affected, and when I re-enter the game state changes it usually keeps them. I don't know if it's just because my new game [Coming Soon!] has so many game state changes that I'm overloading the system?
