So i decided to share some news. I learned 2 weeks ago that my muse, my wife, is pregnant. A little over seven weeks along. I am both happy and terrified.

I've been where you are more or less, I love kids*, kids are great: but BABIES are a whole different sport, not just ball game! It's like comparing Bobsledding and Biathlon! Yes, yes it is. Emphasis on the word "need". And far be it from me to try to dissuade you! (Plus I do believe it's rather too late for that...) I too had such a goal, and for much the same reasons I think. I'm warning you now though: comparing babies and children is not like comparing apples and oranges. It's more like comparing corn and coconut! Yes, both are edible: yes, both are seeds: the similarities end there.
