Her jumping in the shower to "convince" Taylor to have sex with her, pulling Zack away from Heather and Taylor to dance with her, pushing Gavin and Taylor together and trying (unsuccessfully) to get Zack to have sex with her. All those point to an aggressive and manipulative woman.
Yes, in general she's very aggressive when she wants to be, johnhoftb. What I've meant was that we had similar threads posted and, while my version of Hannah had to feel she was losing the pool game to tease Zack, yours was really quick to propose a sex bet to him. I was merely making a comparison between our threads, it wasn't my intention to say Hannah isn't aggressive. However, I have to disagree that Hannah manipulated Taylor into having sex with her. She was horny and she figured Taylor also needed to feel good after her experience with Shawn, so she volunteered herself to pleasure her friend. She didn't know if Taylor was going to agree to her proposal or not, if anything she took a big gamble there.
Well she may have taken a slight gamble, I think it's clear from the way they have interracted up until now that they are very close and extremely open minded. I doubt there was any danger of Taylor rebuffing her approach in anything but the most diplomatic/understanding way. So she took a chance on being rejected but the reward was most definitely worth the risk. How do you feel about the Taylor/Zack coupling that seems to have crept in? None of your threads seem to indicate this as something you would expect of either sibling and it certainly didn't seem in character to me.
Yes, that's what I was going for, Jp. The gamble I've meant was that Hannah risked their friendship, but she wouldn't have done it if she didn't think Taylor wasn't receptive to the idea. To be honest, Zack/Taylor is one of my favorite pairings, and I do plan on them having sex eventually on my main storyline, but it won't happen anytime soon. As for the threads written by the other writers, I've really enjoyed them. But I do agree that we're still missing a thread/story where the attraction between Zack and Taylor develops more slowly, with the tension rising and rising until they can't take it anymore; I'm saying this because the two scenes we had between Zack/Taylor so far had their start in an extreme situation, Yarkoz's erotophilia story and the one where Zack watches Taylor having sex with Hannah and Heather and she goes after him. There's one that person89 started, branching off the orgy thread, but he didn't get to the actual sex part yet.

Thinking about it, that really that makes sense if Heather was thinking of the most unusual place she's had sex, and if she's remembering it as her preferred "first." HEADCANON ALERT: If you want to place the other two I mentioned in there Ted and Wei (random names at the time, but then so was Rohit, so *shrug*) into Heather's sexual history, I imagined Ted to be one of Brandon's teammates and her actual first, the rather underwhelming, painful, and inconsiderate experience after duskford's described party. (I can't remember who said it, I think it was Vain, but in one of the continuities, Heather made a passing reference to football player stamina isn't being what it's cracked up to be). Rohit was next and the much better memory, and Wei, who I imagined as a greaser, was after him, perhaps in the backseat after a long drive in an older sports car and the engine became choked momentarily (hence the stick-shift and carburetor lines). That still leaves someone else, which I assume Heather knows about so that may exclude her from being the mystery woman with Zack at Ashley's party, but then that's duskford's secret On a side note however, and one that's been in my head for a while, I don't think this loose overarching continuity doesn't apply for the Heather in the light-hearted threads following the second introduction. For instance, Ashley is far more freer with herself there than anywhere else, happily acknowledging her bisexuality with thanks to Hannah, and Brandon seems far more accepting of that. Taylor too is way more open about herself, even having a FWB relationship with Hannah. So, I like to think that Heather has been more sexually active, though not necessarily with actual intercourse. Oral sex and handjobs are definitely within her repertoire. And me too, I do have a naughty penchant for thinking of backhistories of characters given information available without actually scenes about them. I'm subscribed to several headcanon and fanon blogs on Tumblr, it's bad, lol. Definitely. Maybe at some point, they could find each other again, but the more I think about it, I don't think it would translate that way. Still, in the your main continuity, I totally see them as being on-again, off-again lovers, always in different parts of their lives and never at the same point where they could be together. Life-long friends, there for each other when they need it, but doomed to never progress further. It's sad in a way, but maybe that's for the best in the long run. In other universes though, a nudge to the left or the right puts them on the level playing field, like in Cretan Bull's threads, or even our silly dialogues here, and they seem to be inseparable. Real-life confession: I did have a relationship similar to that with someone before I met my wife. It was torrid and painful and we did love each other, but in the end it was best that we go our separate ways. In another life, who knows, but we're both happy, and that's what matters. Agreed, it really would've been more of an exploration of that scenario than character building, much like giving Chloe anxiety disorder or manmanzane's threads with Zack's amnesia brought on by Kurt's assault. (Frankly, reading that thread makes me feel bad for Kurt in the other continuities. Talk about a parallel universe.) And besides, Bipasha will want to check out Zack to make sure he's right for her: Bipasha: "Is he good? Does he treat you right? You know, in thinking about that with our characterization of Vicky, it surprisingly still makes sense. Gavin, much like her blowjob for Zack in the cave, is "practice," though at first. I tried to mutate that into something in line with her monogamous thinking as they went on, where she started to see Gavin in a fatherly role and so that suppressed any issues with their unprotected sex. Part of me always had a bit of a soft spot for a Gavin/Victoria pairing, hence my original pairings in my first threads. Given their developed backstory though, with Vicky being apart of Gavin's (chemistry?) study group, that adds a certain richness to their dynamic, where they do see each other as good friends but Gavin backs off from anything else because he knows Zack's feelings. In any other continuity, that might become more of a Cyrano de Bergerac or Pygmalion/My Fair Lady story. Having it be Kendra actually makes a hell of a lot of sense, especially if it was when Shawn and her wee still dating and if it was an aborted attempt to keep Zack occupied while he went after, say, Taylor. But he misfired, and it only ended up burning Zack's relationship with Lisa to the ground. That means though that Kendra has already had sex with Zack, meaning that Kendra has an inkling of what sex without Shawn is like, making her a bit more pliable when Shawn suggested the idea in the first place, and makes complete sense of why Shawn would keep Kendra close after their "breakup" when his obsessions went to Vicky. That may mean that Vicky broke up with Dustin around that time too, and with Lisa out of the picture, though painfully, Zack saw his chance with her on the sojourn to Heather's cabin. I'm not sure if that matches up with the timelines exactly, but I'm not sure if anyone has tried to do that before? Either way, I totally look forward to the Grand Reveal(tm), duskford! That's Patzo and Zingiber's collaborative threads, which comes closest to developing more naturally I think, but only in comparison to mine. I based much of Taylor's characterization on that one, and I may be wrong, but I think I'm the only one so far that wrote a Zack/Taylor scene? Person89 will probably get there soon enough though. Hannah can be very sexually aggressive, true, but she can pull back when necessary. That was a gamble to jump into the shower with Taylor and she knew it, but I think she still could've patched things up if Taylor said "no." She likes to push people with gentle (?) pressure to keep the mood going, but she's not going to force people into having sex, though she may pout a lot before coming up with another plan ("Truth or dare?"). Contrast this to Shawn who has no real self-control and his sexual aggression is about power over others and situations. His is a more true meaning of manipulation, containing no regard to anyone's feelings. Hannah is sexually liberated and wants to free everyone. Shawn is emotionally stunted and wants to keep them constrained. I really want to explore Holly in the sequel. Madison was just pure fun, so I'd imagine Holly would be too. LOL, yes. Dustin broke up with Victoria and moved away about a month after that party. It's a fun theory, if someone wants to use it on a thread, be my guest. Well, the only thing I've said about Heather's first time is that it made her feel like a slut and she decided to forget about the occasion. It could've been good or bad, she doesn't really remember much of it. As long as we're confessing, I've had a similar situation happening to me as well when I was a teenager, and maybe I've unconsciously transported it to the story. At a movie night during my last year of high school, I've hooked up with a friend who was a lot like Heather. We've had a lot of fun together and when graduation came, we decided to split up 'cause we were both going away to different towns. It probably was for the best. LOL, I've almost spat out the coke I was drinking when I read this dialogue! I'm almost sure by now that future Heather will be a lot like this, and that's why I feel that new character I'm preparing will be a better fit for her. He was going to be the Bishops' cousin, but now I'm considering him being the son of one of Robert's coworkers. Indeed, there's only those scenes featuring Zack/Taylor (Zaylor? Tack?), Yarkoz. Holly, due to her age, can only appear in a sex scene if there's a sequel at least two years after the first story, before it she can only act as a supporting character. As for Madison, I have big plans for her on the first sequel. Great to know you'll be back in the fold, Yarkoz, your threads were always amongst the most enjoyable to read.

In the collaborative threads, alternating authors tends to move the story forward at a much faster pace, and Zingiber set those threads up in such a way that Taylor and Hannah were a) the focal point, and b) much more openly sexual than they are in the main threads. That's in no way a problem, but it creates a few discontinuities with the main threads. Then you have the erotophilia threads, where the characters are being compelled to strange behavior, and since their thoughts are often too muddled to recognize it, that can look out of character. What I'd like to add is that, in my mind, the fact that Zack/Taylor pairings come on suddenly is sort of the appeal to me. It has a "What the fuck did we just do?!" factor, and I really enjoy the idea of sleeping with someone you never should've slept with (incest, cheating, ex-partners, hate sex, etc.). It goes back to something Yarkoz and I talked about a while ago, the feeling of having lost control and giving in to these overpowering sexual urges, consequences be damned. So yeah, it's a very specific taste for sure, but I'd want a good Zack/Taylor pairing to address that hooking up isn't in character for them, it is strange, and then explore that. Hey! Now I know how to keep going on that branch! It's hard to motivate myself on Plot?-What-Plot?-style threads, so maybe I need to break them up before they start actually fucking and let things simmer for a bit. >> Re: Heather. She denies it, saying she'd never do it to Ashley and she's tried football players and found them wanting. I like the idea of Wei the greaser being next. Rohit the astronomer strikes me as a bit of a romantic. Things start looking serious with him, Heather's not up for that, then comes a different sort of guy who likes to get his hands dirty, his knowledge is more hands-on and practical than abstract and scientific. She can ride around and have fun with him with no expectations. Those "spur of the moment" scenes with them are awesome, I agree with you. What I've meant was that there's space for both approaches, if someone wants to write a thread about a Zack/Taylor's love story. Shawn and Kendra broke up on their last year of high school, three years before the actual story. During that time, Kendra had time to crawl back to him begging for a rekindle of their relationship. Shawn had no interest, but he saw the chance to keep her close and use her even more as a "slave". I think the only mention of Holly I've made was one time that Chloe thought Zack felt more like a sibling than her little sister sometimes. I imagine Holly being more girly and disapproving of Chloe's tomboyish lifestyle, what with being an athlete and having lots of boys for friends. Congratulations on your first hundred posts!
I adore the angles about Zack/Heather as an "open marriage" pairing. I kind of think Zack/Hannah might be an even hotter one, with Hannah building him into her perfect boyfriend and loyal companion for erotic adventures. Which would set up some real tension among Hannah, Taylor, and Zack. Taylor would want to make sure Zack was becoming his own man as well as Hannah's Boy Wonder. Hannah might deflect Taylor by seducing her; or the reverse: "Okay, Hanners, now that I've turned your legs to jelly, you WILL listen to me about Zack."
You're right, Zingiber, a lot of fun can be had if one tries to write about a marriage between Zack and one of those two, Heather or Hannah. I'm planning a slightly similar plot for my main thread on "At The Cabin", Zack will get closer to the Woodsen sisters and find himself on the verge of a relationship with Hannah, something that will become a reality early on the sequel, but for a few reasons, it won't go very far. And maybe that will open the door for something deeper with Ashley (I don't know yet, but lately I've been noticing the appeal of a storyline where Zack doesn't end up with none of the girls he pined for, finding love in a different, unexpected place, instead; well, this is stuff for the future, no need to worry about it now).
Victoria/Zack have been my favorite pairing since I first found this story, but lately i found a Ashley/Zack pairing appealing. I also like the recent Hannah/Zack treads. (Seems like I really like blondes )
To tell you the truth, I think Zack is the only male character on the story who could be paired with any of the girls and make it good and believable. I actually like all the pairings with him, the problem is that I have tons of ideas swimming in my head at every moment, so my favorite one is always changing because of a new idea or plan.
Well, Zingiber, it's mostly about branches alongside my main thread that could've led to different storylines, for example, the discarded one where I've planned to scare Zack and Heather with the possibility of being half-siblings or even making it true. There's also that thread where Zack has sex with Lisa and she asks if there any possibility for them to get back together; Zack said no on the main path, but there can be an alternate where he says yes and we can have a Zack/Lisa storyline. An example that got a follow-up was that branch I've written with Zack, Ashley, Vicky and Brandon at the kitchen on the verge of a weird foursome, Yarkoz turned it into his brilliant erotophilia story. Then I have some vague ideas about alternate futures, such as the open marriage piece we were talking about a couple of posts back, one where Zack and Gavin end up marrying the McRose sisters (Chloe and Holly) and other small ideas that aren't fully formed. Finally, I have a few ideas for bizarre storylines, like Zack getting all the girls in a harem, one where they find a secret government facility hidden in the woods and that one I've talked about a few months back where Zack and Brandon haven't met and as a result, the gang isn't together. Now, about what I'll write for sure. I'll structure my main storyline in four parts: 1 - At The Cabin: it'll end on the seventh day of their trip, so it's just a day and a half left. Zack will bond with Hannah and Ashley and sort out his feelings about Victoria and Heather. He and Victoria will be on friendly terms again, but both will have their attentions elsewhere, Zack on Hannah and Vicky on Brandon. Chloe and Gavin will have eye-opening experiences and agree that maybe they jumped too fast into a romantic relationship. The gang will also solve the mystery of the bearsuits and the creepy guy who keeps watching them. 2 - It'll take place back at Azure Rocks after the trip to Ravers' Cabin. Zack will pursue a relationship with Hannah, but it won't work out for too long. A new mystery presents itself at their school (involving that dead girl I've mentioned in a thread), and Heather will have her hands full with something at her dad's company. Besides Hannah, Zack will get himself involved with Ashley and his teacher who I've introduced on 'At The Cabin', Mary Moreau. Vicky will have to deal with a way too eager boyfriend in Brandon and decide if he's the right one for her. 2.5 - On here I'll fit a few interludes: Zack spending a few days doing voluntary work at Silver Lake Park under Jennifer's supervision, a short story with Dustin and Kendra and the one where Zack and Taylor end up doing each other. 3 - This is the one I don't have much yet. I don't know if it'll take place in the summer after the other stories or if I do it after they finish with college and decide to reunite the gang. 4 - The future, everyone returns to Silver Lake Park with their grown-up kids.

I want to do something suitably over-the-top for Shawn, but I also want it to be reasonable that this character would go along with him. For realsies this time, it'll be done tomorrow (more likely very late tonight). I figure duskford can take the next one, and that should give you space to take another turn after the holiday. For one, I'm super looking forward to Gavin dealing with all his turmoil and following up on the hate foursome at the other cabin!
