Hi, Friedman, I would like to adopt http://chyoa.com/story/young-love/cover

The creator hasn't made any changes to it since October last year and after reading the guide lines for stories, I noticed that it violates the one for age. An age younger than 18 is implied.

Ignazzio is still active, so I suggest contacting him. For now, I've changed your role to trusted editor. New threads of yours will be approved automatically.

Happy writing to both of you!

Hello,

I would like to adopt this story
https://chyoa.com/story/a-bird-in-the-hand/cover
It was created by a friend of mine on the original chyoo and i've added many posts to it. However she hasn't checked up on it in since before the transfer to chyoa.

If this story is to be brought back to life again, it'll need a more active editor.
If the original author is to become more active again in the future, I will hand it back over to her of course.

I was shocked to discover that the story I created, Nanogirl, had been given to Noah_Peal without even notifying me, much less asking my permission. I didn't accept any of the proposed threads because they didn't meet my standards, and apparently that was taken as a sign of inactivity. Noah_Peal is now listed as the creator of the story, with no credit given to me at all. I now have no control over my own story.

I've authored only one story, as a trial, to see how it would work out. Frankly, I'm glad I didn't invest any more time or effort.

Thanks for letting me know. I usually look up the activity of a user in the views table in the database and decide based on that if a user is active or inactive. If someone doesn't read stories (his or her own or others), they fall through the cracks.

I consider you as the owner of the story. The current system just doesn't allow multiple users who approve and decline threads. So we had to come up with a temporary alternative to reduce inactive stories. Once the new system is running, we'll replace the current temporary owners with the real owners and assign the role editor to the temporary ones (temporary changes of ownership are logged).

Please excuse this misunderstanding. I have reinstated you as the rightful owner. If you need assistance, deleting threads you do not want in your story, don't hesitate to send me a message.

PS: Please check the email address in your Chyoo account. I can't reach you that way. Thanks.
