I think we're making a fuss out of nothing, really.
There won't be any naked girls contests.

IF some comes again with the big idea, for several different reason(of wich the first is survival of this environment...), the story should be put down immediately.
I think anyone can grasp that.

It is not. It is an 'interactive erotica adult fiction site'; emphasis on 'erotica' and 'fiction'. Erotica is not the same as porn. I am not trying to be pedantic here, but there is a slight difference between writing about a fetish, and acting out a fetish.

Two points. One; I am not saying that this fetish in of itself is lecharous and creepy- any fetish is fine if done in it's own proper place, legally, and with consenting adults. What is lecherous and creepy is this insistance on doing this; trying to find loopholes, going 'well okay, that's bad, but it'd be fine if we did this, right?' The fact is doing this in the first place is a bad idea, and that's that.
Two; just because most of the users are not going to be put off, doesn't make it a good idea, or any less of a slippery slope.

You're right. I apologise for escalating this.

As far the "erotica vs porn" argument, the site runs ads that depict explicit sex, and you are able to embed images inside chapters, which can be of varying degrees of pornographic. None of which have a warning. The fact images can be embedded, and depict pretty much anything, it shouldn't be a big deal for someone to post their nudes (not depicting sexual acts) onto this site.

The nude pics being offered in the contest seemed to be offered by the person being photographed, so I see nothing creepy or lecherous about having them offer their own nude photos as a prize.

What was lecherous and creepy was the user who may or may not have leaked their identity.

If any kind of contest like this happens again (which is probably 0.0000000001% chance of it ever happening), CHYOA staff has to investigate the situation thoroughly before any "prizes" are given. Both to protect the identities of persons involved, but also to limit their own liability.

It's not impossible, just highly unlikely that similar events would ever occur ever again. So, probably doesn't need to be debated. This is basically a hypothetical used as a thought experiment.

Near as I can tell, none of the information that was provided by that particular user was private. All of the information was available on either Chyoa or sexualforums.com...although much of that information has now been removed. The probing user in question simply did some looking and put some dots together. Whether those dots are accurate isn't for me to say.

I think this entire scenario is a lesson in "nothing you post on the internet is private". Based on the reactions of the user(s) involved in this contest. Its apparently a lesson hard learned.

I think there's very little way to protect people who choose to expose themselves like that other then preventing them to.
With the right knowlegde, no account is safe in the world, what can Chyoa mods possibly do about it? Ban the culprit? Take down what he posts? That's neither prevention nor protection.
I have only a vague idea of the plethora of legal issues that could derive from the regular or even occasional publication of personal pictures on Chyoa. I suppose the admin knows better than me though, and I doubt He'd want to ever meddle with all that.

    Come on, get over it.
Its not gonna happen again, period.

Heck, It may not even have happend once...
