And after spending a day to see the new generation and learn what they are like, I came to a conclusion.
Sadly, I must state the facts. The Yokuboo clan is gone. They do not exist. A shell of it's former self, it's actually something of an embarrassment to see them latch onto to the title and convinced they are doing it justice. Not one successor seems truly worthy of carrying on their name.
I kind of lean towards just letting them die out entirely from their own stupidity, but if there's one thing I raised you to do, it's always keep your promises. As such, it's kind of complicated. At first I thought, that it might be cute to see how they all have grown up...after seeing it...I can safely say great-grandma would be appalled. That was a woman of caliber that they couldn't match. She also made the best recipe for this...what do you call it? You know, it's sticky, but sweet. It melts in your mouth and you can eat it hot or cold. I think I tried making a few before, but I couldn't get the thickness and texture right so it just turned into a kind of goop. Maybe I didn't add enough water? Probably could try fermenting-
Barely remembering the thing she had started talking about, she had to break from her writing to look up and think of what to say before she saw it. That shine. That meant something valuable. Putting away her work, and carefully folding it and keeping it stashed away on her just on the off chance of someone finding it, to keep it carefully hidden, she decided she had to investigate the gleam and how to get it. She'd figure out what it is later. She was kind of left in a crowded area. A conventional pick pocketing move would be too obvious. She'd have to take a different approach. Keeping an eye out in case, she was being watched she began to take a detour to the cargo hold.
