Yunah approaches the Man. "Excuse Me Sir? We are here for Information about The Beast and would like To know more. It was said You might can Help us out with Information?"
@unisol_gr44 The carriage begins moving, making good time back to the city. As they get closer, in mostly silence, Chitsukiko leans in towards Kyouka. "So, you're taking a bath when we get back to the palace? Think there might be room for two more?"
The woodcutter looks at them, and then at their swords, and shakes his head. "No, samurai-sama. Don't go looking for the beast. All samurai who go into that forest end up dead. There the ones we find."
"I understand Your worries, but we are Here to end the Killings. We don't ask for anything, just Information"
"Mmm. Dunno. The bath in my room is large enough. I think." Kyouka replied, before grinning, "But I never expected you to be that "open" and here I thought you'd be a delicate little flower." She teased Chitsukiko.
As his eyes close, Jian feels a sharp sting on the back of his neck, but before he can do anything about it, he drifts off. As he opens his eyes, he's no longer in the carriage, but in the dark chamber beneath the ruins. He can't move, something sticky holding him in place. Soon, he realises that he's caught in a web. "My dear... You ran off before we could have a chat." The feminine voice from before gives a chuckle. Chitsukiko grins back, as Jian begins to snore. "Oh, me? I'm sweet and innocent. I just want to keep my man happy, is all. I just care about Jian's pleasure." Her eyes rove Kyouka's body in a way that casts what she just said into doubt.
He sighs. "You won't be dissuaded? Fine. Me and some of the people here have found seven corpses so far. All samurai, all mutilated, and all naked. Most were men, but there were a handful of women that we found, too."
Jian groaned and came to with a start, 'Wh-What? Where am I?' Struggling against his bindings, he looked around himself, 'You again? How is this possible?'
The unseen woman gives a chuckle. "Oh, with the things I've learned in these ruins, anything is possible, sweetling. Don't struggle against the web, I assure you that the adhesive is strong enough to tear off your flesh. This is in your mind, of course, but any pain you endure here will be quite real."
Jian stopped struggling against the web but still looked around, laughing nervously, 'So you thought you'd just invade my dreams to have a friendly chat? Your spiders attacked us first, and we didn't steal anything that belonged to you. Let's call it even?'
Yunah listens with crossed Arms. "Naked? We havent known that....What kind of Creature would strip clothes from Dead Bodys? They couldnt have any use for it." She looks at Azai to hear his thoughts.
She gives a melodious chuckle. "My dear, you think I'm angry with you?" She steps in front of him, a ray of light erupting around her so he can see her. "My dear, I'm not angry. I was very impressed with you, and all of your little friends."
Azai questions the woodcutter. "Did they have any rags or scraps, as if the clothes had been torn or slashed off?" The woodcutter shakes his head. Azai looks at Yunah. "Sounds like the clothes might have been intentionally removed, either by the monster or the victim. If that's true, then we're not dealing with some feral beast, but a sentient creature."
"Ho? From what I've heard from roudy drunks, you'd be the perfect wife." Kyouka replied with grin, "And I take it you want my help?"
Jian looked at the woman, a bit shocked, 'I have never seen your kind. Who are you?' He raised an eyebrow, 'You were impressed? It was close, but we made it out without becoming spider-food at least.'
"Oh, I think the three of us could help each other." Chitsukiko moves from her seat next to Jian, sitting next to the redhead. "To tell the truth, I'm starting to see why you have your little deal. It is quite exciting, the aftermath of a fight." Her eyes drink in the sight of Kyouka.
"An intelligent creature. Something that can think like a human does." The woodcutter grunts. "I don't know about all these words you're using, but I couldn't see no rags. I can take you to where I found the bodies, but they've been buried or returned to the families by now."
"You'll likely never see another. My people were wiped out long ago, but I still survive. I am... Priya. You can call me Priya. I'd like you to work for me, Jian. You and your friends, if you can convince them."
