As he looks around the club floor, James finds that he's had a stroke of bad luck. At the dj's table is a girl he recognises from high school, named Chelsea. She's focused on the music right now, so it's unlikely that she's going to focus on one random guy at the bar, but they knew each other well enough, so he thinks that it's quite possible that she'd recognise him if she sees him. The bartender pours their drinks and hands them over. If the former vet takes a drink, she finds that it's not a bad drink, especially for a club. A muscular man with long blonde hair, wearing a t shirt, approaches her, not paying attention to James. "Hey there. How about I buy you another drink when you've finished with that one?"
"It does." He nods. "Tell you what, why don't you and I go to the back, and you can try on some outfits so I can be confident that you're comfortable."
James cursed as he recognised Chelsea from a distance, she hadn't had bright cyan hair in school, but it was certainly her. He mentally chuckled at what her parents might think of her make-over. He tried his best to stay out of her sight, while he observed the stairs to the VIP lounge, explaining how he's not dead after all was a complication he didn't need.
She feels the imp's nose crack as she elbows the creature, and it flies back with a scream of pain. The one in front flies backwards, the air rushing from its lungs as she kicks it in the stomach. Both imps are alive, but stunned, a few feet away from her on either side.
Seres had hoped that any survivors of her lightning would at least be slowed down, giving her the time to cast another spell. Seeing that this was not the case and the last imp was still coming at her she dropped down on the warehouse's floor so that the demonic menace would fly over her. Right as she did so the demon tried stabbing its tail at where her neck had been just a moment before. Not wanting to take any chances Seres rolled to the left a couple of times before daring to check where the remaining imps were. Now aware of what the small demons were likely to try she attempted to protect her neck with the sleeves of her outfit, hoping that its wards would be enough to repel any further tail stabs.
@moonblack "Watch out!" Melissa yelled as she once again uses her wind magic to blow away the imp. Though in her rush, her magic was solely focused on the imp. The concetrated air turning into a pseudo magical bullet. Which may just cause the imp to explode.
She let her eyes roam all over him, trying to feign interest as she made her voice sound breathy and low. "Or why don't we skip the foreplay and get to why you're actually here." She held up two fingers, indicting two minutes and nodding toward one of the toilets. "See you soon, cowboy. Keep it warm and hard for me." Should be enough time to get away and lose him in the crowd if he was gullible, or desperate, enough to believe her.
"...try on outfits?" She swallowed a little bit more, her face already couldn't get anymore flushed. "Uh, well I need to get used to it anyway." She was meant to be leading him away from here, not further in. But she just needed to get him alone anyway. They didn't say this needed to be done quickly anyway. Slowly rising, she had the nervous habit of touching her Catholic necklace which probably wasn't too much of a good sign for her future career, but she got ready to follow him to the back. Thinking of what would be a reasonable question in this situation, she decided to make other questions. "Are the bouncers for your club...you know...good?"
Nadya took a quick look around her to see if anything was sneaking up on her before kneeling down and using the window frame to prop her rifle up to line up shots on the three imps trying to stand before pulling the trigger again
For the moment, Chelsea is focused on the turn table in front of her, and doesn't seem able to spot him, at least for now. As he looks at the stairs, he sees Alicia coming down with the target. The guy barely contains his excitement. "H-Hell yeah I will, baby. I'll be in the stall furthest from the door." He walks backwards, still smiling at her, as he knocks into a woman and spills her drink all over her, invoking her boyfriend's ire. The scuffle takes them out of the vet's sight. Henry leads her downstairs, and through a door behind the bar, into a staff area that's not exactly as bombastic as the main club floor. He leads Alicia into a locker room, handing her a tight leather dress. "The bouncers? Yeah, if you've got any customers that give you a hard time, just tell one of my boys and they'll throw the idiot out. Alright, try this one, it should be more or less in your size."
Seres manages to drop down, dodging the imp's attack, barely, as Melissa sends forth her gust of wind, tearing through the torso of the infernal creature and sending it sprawling back. Nadya opens fire again, killing two of her three targets, the last one beginning to desperately run for the exit. The only imps still alive, are the one trying to escape, and two that Erika knocked down with her powerful strikes, who now lie on the ground and struggle to rise up.
Alicia took the dress, eyeing it with disbelief. First the Hunters and now here. Why was god conspiring people to try getting her to dress up like a stripper? It looked roughly her size, but also like it would barely fit. She was a little wary of taking it, but had something of a surprised look when he didn't move to leave. "..you want me to change in front of you?"
James looked very surprised that Alicia worked so fast, before they went to the back of the bar instead of one of the exits. Since the target and Alicia weren't at the lounge anymore, James moved to the bar. @Mazoku James went up to Rebecca and grabbed the second whiskey, he smiled, 'Thanks.' He leaned against the bar next to Rebecca and tried to look casual holding his drink, 'Any idea why they went back there? We can't follow her there.'
Noticing the fleeing imp Seres did not bother getting up, instead focusing on casting her holy bolts spell again and aiming at the cowardly demon. Most bolts would probably miss due to distance and poor aim, but hopefully at least one or two would hit and slow down the creature, or better yet damage its wings and prevent it from flying.
Erika rushes towards the Imp in front of her, growling as she lifts up her leg high in an axe kick. The imp is at least treated to the momentary sight of the woman's flexibility (and maybe just the slightest hint of camel toe) before she brings the leg down, looking to smash his skull in with the heel of her boot.
She manages to succeed, clipping one of its wings after a series of wild shots. It reaches a window, and unable to fly away, it simply jumps through the glass, swearing loudly.
As the imp tried to jump out the window, Melissa channels her magic to conjure some wind to pull the demon back in the warehouse.
He didn’t leave the room like she was hoping. She was left with this lech and now being asked hard questions. “She’s of my daughter’s friends. Sweet girl...she has her issues, but means well.” She didn’t try giving too many details that she’d end up contradicting herself, now her fingers reaching underneath her sweater and starting to pull up, taking a peek behind her to make sure he still wasn’t watching.
Easily, her boot is covered in gore as she brings down her foot, obliterating the creature's head like a sledgehammer through a watermelon. She feels a sting on her neck, and her body goes warm, as the remaining imp behind her manages to get past the barrier and pierce her with its aphrodesiac. Unfortunately for it, exposure to aphrodesiac venom was part of Erika's training, and though it's certainly left her excited, it doesn't turn her into a writhing, helpless wreck like it would to most people. If more imps were able to inject her at the same time, she'd be in trouble, but for now the imp backs away, confused and scared, as Erika stands, still in full control of her body.
