Xavier went back to his quarters and changed into gym clothes, to head to the work-out facilities and get some exercise in.
"From what we know, the disappearance doesn't occur until we land. So for now, we'll enter the planet's athmosphere, and hover above as I attempt to use psionic to detect any anomalies. After that, you four will cover the ship in the barrier, and we will land." Vizelle nods, "Any questions?"

Grumbling as she failed to detect anything, Vizelle decides to proceed with the plan. "Start the barrier." She said to her disciples, as she looks at Jaya. "Where do you think we should land?"
For some time, Elena considered just leaving the confessor to other parties - but decided against it. The woman was too dangerous to be left to her own devices. With that in mind, she dropped with a visit to the prince.

"It's likely that that's where we'll find answers, but if there are defences down there, I'd say this area would be the most heavily armed." She points out two other areas, one a forest, and the other a desert. "If we landed in more rural surrounds, we'd be less likely to encounter defences, but we'd have to take a potentially long overland trip to the city. The forest is closer, and would be an easier trek, but the desert's sandstorms could throw off any observers and give us the element of surprise." She points out a final area, on a different continent from the large city. "There appears to be a structure here with an unknown energy signature. All the cities are currently active with energy, but this one is different from the rest. It could be of interest, but if it's nothing important, then we'll have wasted our time, and have to have the ship pick us up and drop us off at a different location."
"Interesting." Vizelle was awed at the beauty, and mystery of the planet. "Ah, choices, choices." She mumbled, "Well, we are here to investigate, are we not? Let's head to the structure with unknown energy. Perhaps a psionic's touch will help identify it." She grin, making her choice with complete confidence.
Elena isn't stopped as she enters the admiralty building, due to her rank. Inside, she's directed to the suite occupied by the prince, his guards, and what retinue he still has that didn't flee or get killed after the battle. Nodding, Jaya heads up to the cockpit to begin the process of landing. As the ship begins its descent, Vizelle feels psionic energy all around her, and knows that the barrier is up, noting with satisfaction that it seems strong and stable. The freighter begins its descent down to the planet, finding that the atmosphere is terrestrial, and therefore the descent isn't as bumpy or uncomfortable as it would be on a less habitable world. The ship breaks through the atmosphere, and then through the clouds, and suddenly Vizelle sees a sea of green trees, noting that they'll be landing in a tropical area. Finally, the ship's landing gear comes down, and it prepares to slowly drop the last few metres to terra firma, when something strange happens. Vizelle sees a flash of blue and purple, and suddenly the ship is rocked, the sorceress nearly losing her footing. A damage alarm goes off, klaxons sounding throughout the ship, but thanks to the barrier, whatever happened seemed not to have too crippling an effect. "We're damaged, but we're good to land!" Jaya shouts from the cockpit. Finally, the ship's 'legs' touch the ground, and the descent is over. Looking out her window, Vizelle sees the structure about 500 metres away from the landing site, raised above a cenote.
