Kelly pondered for a minute. "This entire city seems remarkably well preserved. Almost supernaturally so. Like it was frozen in time. If that's the case, it's possible that the bazaar has useful items and equipment. It might be a good place to start."
Natasha look at bazaar. "I think we could find something useful tools and weapons on the bazaar, so we should go there first." She said happy to see sky again, even if it was cover by cloud. "So we both agree." She said on Kelly words and lead group to bazaar, feeling eyes of tousands on her nude body.
"I see, that makes sense." Mori nods, "Thank you for the information." He smiles, leaving and heading back to Eloise and the others. But, he does take a quick look on how big the grocery's van was. And once he returns to his group, he tells them of his finding, trying to fish out some suggestions.
Luke gulped, 'Yes, it felt incredible... I still can't quite grasp it. It all feels like a haze in hindsight.' 'I might need to meditate and pray to come to grips with it,' Luke said, 'The devil is in all of us and I feel like I've strayed a bit closer to him. And if I have to confront Anai I'm not sure I could resist her.'
Dylan thought that over for a second. "Fair enough," he said, "I'm used to having to take things slower, since you're the only one watching your back solo, but if my beautiful partner is able to speed up the process a bit I'm willing to keep pace."
What Beatrice told Bennet was the truth - she was loyal to Grandmaster... less so to the rest of the group. That the loyalty of Layla was put in question... was worrying. If the group was to split... what was she to do? She would stay loyal to the cult, that was for sure... She stayed silent and did not comment on Bennet's statement.
“Good morning. You're up early today.” Miriam was interrupted by a quick yawn. “And you went shopping, I see. Got everything you needed?” She asked as she got off the bed and went to wash her face. She did not bother getting dressed.
Walking through the great bazaar, Kelly and Natasha can almost hear the sounds of thousands of people bartering and haggling, even though the massive location is completely empty. Looking around, they can see stalls and stores selling practically anything the two of them could want.
"Kill them. Take the van." The Butcher says quietly after Mori asks his question. Eloise looks in horror at the man, before saying. "We should bribe them for the van." The Tiger of Ginza shrugs. "Killing them is too much, and they might not take the money if we pay them. We should just steal the thing. Maybe tie the grocer and his wife up so they can't alert the camp."
Luke hears a sharp intake of breath from his mentor's side of the line. "You... You're not closer to the devil, my son. Still, I think it's time that I stepped in to accompany you on this mission."
"Layla's too smart for her own good. She's my sister, but she's too focused on her own ambition, and not enough on serving the masters." Bennet skulls the last of his coffee. "She's my sister, but she's a disobedient bitch, and you know what happens to disobedient bitches." He grins. "So, what side are you on?"
Taia nods, putting the bags down. "Everything, yeah." The water helps cool Miriam down in the oppressive heat.
"Then let us fly, my evil little beauty," Dylan says before impulsively giving Layla a small peck on the cheek and heading out the door to prepare for the next leg of the journey.
Kelly wandered the bazaar, not really interested in anything that the great marketplace may still have had for sale. The antiquities would have been hopelessly obsolete by modern standards, but the historian in her was intrigued and perused the various stalls for any wares to trinkets that struck her fancy. She took in everything, marveling at the site, when an idea struck her and she started to look for any religious talismans or symbols depicting the Goddess Isis.
"Woah, woah. No killing... for now at least." Mori tries to calm down the butcher, and shakes his head at the rest of their suggestion. "No, those won't work. They're a small grocery, so I bet those mercs would be cautious if a different person drives the van." He said as he scratches his temple, "The way I see it, we can either smuggle ourselves inside, or... we can poison their water so to speak. It seems the camp gets supplies delivered once a day. Doc, you think you can whip up something to make them go to sleep, or be weak enough let us sneak in? Something you can inject inside the water containers would be nice."
She chuckles. "Alright, give me a few moments more to coordinate with my men." She heads out. As he walks through the hallway, Dylan spots Vicky, the flight attendant from before, coming towards him. She smiles seductively, looking like she intends to follow up on her flirting from the plane. Then, Dylan spots a knife in her hand.
Looking around, she finds a figurine, about the height of her forearm, depicting an impossibly beautiful naked woman. There's nothing inherently religious about it, but Kelly feels it radiating the same kind of aura she now possesses.
"Alright, let's get the stuff we need." Mori nods, "So, the plan will be to distract the driver, while the others spike their water. I think they have those big containers rather than individual water bottles, so it should be easy." He said, as he looks for a drug store to let Eloise buy what she needs.
