So I wanted to get this out before the First of the Year, but life conspired against me between personal issues with family and work, but here it is! The first story that I posted in years:

Impregnabe Tower of Fertile Monster Girls is an adventure CYOA story that involves the protagonist traveling through the demon Circe's sex dungeon trying to save a princess that you kind of kidnapped in the first place. There are going to be twenty floors in total with higher floors having more monstrous and more dangerous girls. There's also hopefully going to be a Monster Boys arc that sort of mirrors the story, but that's very much into the future as the Monster Girls part is the main focus.

There's going to be some pretty niche fetishes involved in the story with heavy non-con, Monster Girls, furry(including Feral Furry), and impregnation scenarios. Plus Bad Ends Galore.

Overall, I have parts of the story outlined already with what I'm going to do and what is going to be encountered. I'll try to keep this main thread updated as I go as I try to track my progress here. This is a bit new for me as it's a story with a definitive beginning and a definitive end(although I do have Ideas on how to continue should I feel the drive to do so).

As you can see, I have a lot of parts planned out already. Some more than others. Outlined floors I already have a pretty good idea of how they're going to go. Things may be adjusted as time goes by or added if I think of more that should be added. They might even jump floors as I move some of the more beastial encounters deeper into the story. No Progress Floors are parts that I either have no idea what to do yet or just a vague idea...Maybe even just knowing what's going to be encountered. Complete Chapters are ones that are ready to go up. I'll be posting each floor as a cluster of chapters once they're done for that floor.

Floor 18 is currently the most extreme I'm willing to go with the first 20 floors. Floor 19 is largely a buildup to the final encounter and Floor 20 is the final encounter. I'm currently trying to decide if I want to give readers an easy skip for floor 18 due to the extreme content, or just have them suffer through it. It's hard because there's an item that's going to be provided to skip floors that a reader might not want to get involved with, but still want to experience the rest of the story...However, there might be reasons to hold onto that, and while I do plan of having a way to get a spare...It has to be kept in mind that it'll likely have been used by then.

Currently, there are 3 "Good" endings planned with many, many, many Bad Ends and various not great ends peppered throughout. I also plan on probably having some interim chapters and maybe some multiple encounters per floor...although right now I'm mostly keeping things simple.

Obviously, I'm open to ideas. There's plenty of room for it. Right now I have the story set to private, but if anyone wants to contribute their own encounter, or an entire floor, or an alternative to a floor that's already posted, then let me know and we can discuss.

Right now it looks like you have 11 encounters(floors) that are unoccupied. Maybe better to reduce the number of floors rather than try and cram in encounters for the sake of encounters. Otherwise, there are some monsters that you have left untapped. Lamia, Oozes, Holstaurs, Orcs, Goblins, Fey, Gollums, kobolds, vampires or mindflayers are all viable options. Orc girls are hot Amazonians. Goblin girls are stacked short stacks. And I love them both. But they have different modes of attack the orc is gonna brute strength her way through problems while the goblin uses trickery. Lotta options

 

Floors 3 through 7 are definitely open for "classic/popular" Monster Girls. Slimes, Goblins, and Orcs will likely make an appearance there somewhere. Lamia and Centaurs are likely ones that will come in the mid-floors.

Yeah, there's a lot of room yet for more encounters. That's intentional as while I want a definitive end to the story...I also want plenty of content for readers. I don't think 20 floors are too many as long as I buckle down and actually get to work writing. (I'm about 60% of the way through the Floor 1 content right now...and I should have been done by now as I deadlined myself for the end of January, but that didn't happen.)

Although that's with the caveat that some floors might have multiple encounters or branches of intrigue. I haven't yet decided on any of those yet. Multiple options and encounters are great, but anything that really dramatically upsets the status quo and has consequences through multiple floors can dramatically explode the size and scale of any story.

 

I'm definitely interested in this story and while I'm slightly more interested in the female route, I'm definitely rooting for the completion of any part of this story.

 

If you want multiple encounters per floor you should group by theme. Orc + goblin. Pixie + faerie Queen. Holstaurs + centaur + satyr. Lamia + gorgon + gargoyles.

 

Floor 1 is Live!

It's a rather straightforward floor that is just more or less Circe seeing what the protagonist will do with a random, lightly armed woman alone. Things will get more dangerous going forward, but don't underestimate the feisty mouse girl. She still has bite.

Anyway, not every floor will involve a fight. Some will involve picking the right set of options or being able to read the situation. Next floor up? Floor 2 where the protagonist gets to learn about Circe's rat problem and meet a couple of expert mousers trying to solve the problem.

There's certainly going to be themed floors to the ones that do have multiple encounters. We're still stuck in the basement right now, but once we enter some of the "real floors" things will get more varied. Many of Circe's floors are essentially set up as a menagerie of Monster/Monster Girls held for her own entertainment.

Yep, I'm well aware that historically this type of story has been written from the female perspective and that's fine. that's good...in many ways writing from that perspective is easier, because you don't have to justify the attraction. You can have weird, disgusting, abhorrent creatures take advantage of the protagonist and you just have to worry about the heroine being sexy. With a male protagonist, you have to justify why the hero is getting a boner and that means that the monsters involved have to be sexier by human standards...at least with a standard audience. This is why Monster girls are so popular because it nicely straddles the line between "Human-like" and "Weird furry shit".

We're getting to weird furry shit eventually. It's going to be hard for me to write it, but we're getting there dammit and I hope that it makes me a better writer overall because of it. I just can't promise that every reader's going to make it to the end.


I'll definitely start the female route before I finish with the Male route. I have lots of ideas in my head.

 

I mean I at least don't think I'll have much of an issue with the weird furry shit and I'm sure you'll write it well. You seem capable so far!

 

So far my biggest issue is writing in the present tense. If I had to go back and redo something...that would be at the top of my list.

 

It was waay easier for me to write in past tense. Present tense is hard.

 

Ha I'm actually in the progress of editing all of my Monster Isekai path to be third person from second person.

 

I'm working on a thing too....trying to determine what the best tense would be is somewhat difficult. But that's kind of a whole other discussion.

It's hard to evaluate content that focuses on more niche content, I'm not personally all that into. I say niche, but I don't know if it's so much as that as just not sharing the interest in the vibe. Much like Tower of Voices(I got around to reading it) I wouldn't say I dislike it or there's anything really wrong with it exactly...just difficult to evaluate the quality of things you aren't personally invested in.

Maybe just me thinking it, but I feel like this would benefit if the tower contained some traps and more transformative situations, but I don't know.

When you say "Traps", do you mean like...Cursed doors and pitfalls, or do you mean girly men who look like girls, but have dicks?

When you say "Transformative situations", do you mean...a compelling narrative about a person going through an experience and changing for the better(or the worst), or do you mean turning from a man into a bouncing boobie'd bimbo?

 

I was referring to pitfalls and gases, and the like. And while bimboism isn't really for me, I do enjoy gender bender options, but that might undercut the direction of the game you wanted to do then.

 

I'm not big on bimboism either. That's just an example.

Certainly, pitfalls and gasses, and other traps are on the table. They could be involved in bad ends, or just something to cause problems on the current floor, or maybe the next two floors or something.

Gender Bending is...a bit more difficult. Any kind of effect that spans multiple floors essentially doubles the number of chapters. You have to write a branch where the change didn't happen and a branch the change did happen. It's certainly doable, but if you add change upon change upon change is how stories can blow up in a ridiculous proportion.

Certainly, I have some ideas for Bad Ends that might involve gender-bending and maybe some kind of transformations or changes might last for a couple of floors, but long-form transformations that last several floors is probably not going to happen. At least, not until I'm done with the main line of the story.

 

So I opted to post the Intro chapter to Floor 2 before everything else. I'm still planning on releasing the story in chunks at a time, but I think i'll make it based on decisions rather than entire floors. Especially as the floors will likely become more complex as time goes on. This will also give the story more exposure over the long-term and more views are important .


As far as the chapter itself goes...I don't think i've ever thought that i'd be writing a chapter involving cheap knock-off Skaven in a story that's meant to be erotic. It was kind of a late addition as I was thinking why the characters at the center of this Floor would be there (the catgirls). I thought about making it another straightforward test by Circe, but I felt like that wasn't very Circe-Like. The story is about Circe trolling a human, not setting up a bunch of carefully designed tests for him. Hence why i kind of threw out the whole "slow progression of Bestial Monsters"...at least a little. There's only one Bad End involving the Rat-Creatures planned at the moment....Although their existence is something that i might come back to explaining later.

However, at least for the ones the protagonist is encountering right now on Floor 2, these are the bottom of the bottom of whatever Rat-Culture they have built. They're meant to be unpleasant, off-putting, and kinda gross. Being caught by them isn't really meant to be a reward.
