This is (roughly) the thought process that leads to things like genderswap and 'what-if' fanfics coming about.

True. But it is funny that this time it is not even based on any existing story since I am still just workshopping how the story would go.

Now the question is; do you make two seperate stories, 2 branches of the same story, or do you pick the one you like more and hang no.2 on the gallows?

I don't think this is one for Chyoa anyway. Either one I make, I would prefer to do a regular story without branches. And putting those on this site feels like a waste.
