If you only use your account for selfish reasons (like favouriting stories or gaining access to restricted categories), there isn't much point in dressing up.

That is one of the fetishes that I just don't get. Like, it may not be disgusting, but I also don't get how someone considers it erotic. Same with stuff like tickling or spanking. Not gonna kinkshame, but I also do not see how it can be sexy to some folks.

I feel like spanking is a lot more associable with things like BDSM, the whole 'pain feeld good' crowd. Armpit though, tends to run in the same vein as the feet lovers.

Manga and anime meanwhile take the opposite approach to you. IIRC, the idea is that "kids these days" won't be bothered to read a synopsis of a story, so you put the synopsis into the title and they will read it while scrolling through new titles. ...I hate that trend, but it has been big for a while now.

@raziel83 Believe it or not, that's exactly what I was referencing. Saw an anime titled "I reincarnated as the 7th prince and (something somethimg I forgot) to hone my abilities! :D :D :D :D" and I realized the reason those kinds of titles suck is how many key words they shovel into the sentence, and subsequently concluded 3 key words was the maximum.

I was considering giving an example on the latter, but I think I might genuinly start coughing up blood if I attempt to bring forth such an unholy union of lexicon.

@OccasionalReader It's kind of like a reverse language barrier, in that the intrique and draw of a different language is lost thanks to speaking that language.

That being said, pastries and baked goods (and eating in general) seem to be very popular picks for innuendos and pickup lines. Probably something to do with linking food (basic need) to sex (both primal urge and sophisticated practice).

Now that I think about it, it's REALLY common to use food as a pet name. Things like muffin, cupcake, cake (as in ass), honey, sweetie, et cetera, et cetera. Certain foods like strawberries tend to get thrown in there too, so referring to your partner as a strawberry shortcake or an apple pie is actually more common and more complementary than you'd think.

(un)Coincidentally, the first set of files they dropped a few years ago had Donald Trump on the flight logs. Those we're pretty sure are already edited. Etymology is also hilarious when similar sounding words in one language have wildly different origins from two separate languages and so on. And of course then there is the "homo" issue where ancient Greek and Latin have an identical word with different meanings but now kids who speak neither of those will giggle when they hear "Homo Sapiens."
