Me too, LOL. I'll be out of town for the whole weekend, therefore unable to write or post anything. If I can find a connection to approve any thread that might get submitted during these days, I'll do it, but if I don't, I just let you guys know why. Have a nice weekend! ;)

Have a good time, guys! I'm looking at Sunday for the next one: I've been all out of sorts this week.

I've been enjoying @Cretan_Bull14's accelerated orgy and happy to see Heather pull Shawn up short. Run away, Ashley! Find someone less toxic to play with! Peter and Taylor together were sweet.

Here's where I'm at with my threads- needed to re-evaluate my main thread, stories that had come up naturally were clashing with stories I had been pushing. Think I have it figured out.

My Kendra thread- biggest issue is figuring out Kendra's big revenge. want it to be big, not sure how yet

The way I see it, in your threads, Kendra's biggest issue is with Taylor. Maybe she can turn Taylor into a complete whore, with Shawn's help or not, and make sure that Zack sees it, while at the same time make Zack fall for her.

I figure since she thinks Taylor is trying to ruin her "relationship" with Shawn, Kendra will try to take over and destroy Taylor's relationship with Zack. The ultimate revenge is to trick Taylor into "confirming" a bunch of awful lies Kendra told him and make him hate his own family. "Oh she was always this awful. You just couldn't tell because she's your big sister." For something big, that could mean Kendra makes sure they have sex somewhere Taylor will see them or walk in on them.

A mix of all that should probably end up in a big revenge; Kendra feeds Zack lies about Taylor (such as saying she worked with her and Shawn to split Zack and Victoria because she preferred Heather), while at the same time working with Shawn to turn her into a slut. Then she can make sure Zack "sees it for himself", catching Taylor with Shawn, and proceeding to fuck Zack in front of screwed Taylor. Just suggestions.

Jumping over to my main thread, thought I should post an update here on how I'm doing with it. As you guys may or may not have seen, on the thread '149.1. Zack is worried about himself', I gave him the definite push to choose Victoria, reasons why I did it are listed at the thread comment section. However, Zack will still have a sex scene with Hannah, it's something I feel that I definitely have to include.

As for the future, I'm planning on starting a pairing between Peter and Ashley, where he thinks something along the lines of "Whoa! When did my ex-girlfriend's little sister grew so much?". Heather will have a sex scene with Kurt before she meets a new character I'm hoping to introduce on the seventh day, Zack and Taylor's cousin, someone who I'm imagining to be like a mix of Zack and Kurt. And finally, Shawn will recruit Brandon to his team after noticing that his obsession with Victoria is growing fast, he'll try to recruit Heather as well, but she'll refuse.

It's been a week since I wrote the thread, so I figure now is a good time to admit that Heather was a coin toss away from getting one of Shawn's chokers. I still have the thread saved on my pc. Might do an alternate story line down the road.

That would've been fun to read, maybe an alternate road where Shawn uses all of his chokers?

I highly look forward to this storyline, duskford, I think it's your best yet. I think it integrates both sets of characters very well, and I'm looking forward to seeing Zack and Taylor's cousin. Heather's girl hard-on will be wonderful to see I'm sure. I also like the idea of Brandon's descent with Shawn, because I think most of us have touched on that aspect lurking in his character in other threads. He has a genuine dark side when the right buttons are pushed, and seeing Peter with Ashley will be the final point.

Update on my stuff: Well, the muse continues to be elusive let's say. I do have something for the orgy thread, I hope to have that up by tomorrow night after a few revisions. I really want to finish up some of the erotophilia threads too, because a great scene of Hannah an Shawn is playing out in my head. Outside of that, I'm thinking Amy Jefferson is going to arrive with a bang, after two very awkward conversations in both cabins. (Rough teaser dialogue: Heather: *to a flabbergasted Kurt after he realizes what happened last night* "It's okay, it's shocking after you realize that you just slept with your cousin. Trust me, I know." --later-- Gavin: *frantically leaving a sleeping Victoria in the room, runs into Heather and Kurt* "Oh, hey! What's up?! Nothing happened in there! I didn't sleep with anyone last night! None, no blondes! I hate blondes! Ahahaha!!!!" *devolves into a crying mess*)

Thanks, Yarkoz! I'm excited about this new character of Zack and Taylor's cousin, he's an attempt to solve the issue I always had with choosing Vicky or Heather for Zack, but more than just being a second Zack, he'll have a personality that'll work very well with Heather's. As for Brandon, it's an idea I had after thinking about what to do with him, and it makes sense if you think that his obsession with Victoria will grow and Ashley will find someone else at least for the time being, although I expect this new Brandon will be more of a problem in an eventual sequel than on the current story.

Those ideas of yours for the erotophilia threads sound really promising! Especially that dialogue with desperate Gavin, it'll be funny to read, I'm sure.

So, I think I've had an idea to improve on the plans I already mentioned above. Instead of going straight to the endgame pairings, I'm going to have a little fun playing with other relationships first. For example, Zack getting to the end of At the Cabin with Hannah as his girlfriend before they realize very early in the sequel that it's not going to work for a number of reasons. Victoria and Dustin flirting with a revival, Peter and Ashley having some fun together before long distance ruins it, Heather having a very brief fling with Kurt, just to mention a few.

So, I was just at the movies and saw San Andreas. Excellent blockbuster, huge special effects etc. In summation, my type of film. But I didn't come here to talk about that. What I came to say was that after thirty minutes or so into the film, Alexandra Daddario uses her shirt to dress a leg wound. She's left in a red tank-top and looks up at the camera. Stunning blue eyes, dark brownish-blackish hair with a light scattering of blonde highlights and very, very decently sized tits (which look even better in a 3D film BTW!). I looked at the screen and said "Holy Shit! That's Heather Ravers!" Thankfully the theater was empty or I would have been asked to leave.

LOL! That's an awesome story! Believe it or not, you're not the first one to compare Alexandra to Heather. She could very well play a slightly older Heather, I guess.

By the way, as I said in the Casting Game topic, I see Liz Gillies as 18-year old Heather.

True Detective becomes a weird, weird show towards the end, but Alexandra Daddario and Lili Simmons are easily four of the top ten reasons to watch it.

That's especially true if, like myself, you've watched it without prior knowledge she'd just strip like that. I remember my reaction being very similar to Cretan_Bull14's.

HA! I thought the same thing too (and I certainly didn't complain about being up close and personal in 3D as well)! And her quick thinking and judgment calls -- that's Heather surviving after a massive earthquake for ya.

Question for you guys about the Lewis brothers. What kind of home environment could produce two radically different personalities?

The elder Shawn is abusive and manipulative of women, seeing them as sex servants and conquests, and the stronger their will, the more he would desire them to grovel at his feet. In Kendra however, he finds her particularly useful because of her intelligence and inner connivance, but he controls her through a mixture of suppressing her self-esteem and forcing a level of dependence on him. This isn't done very well, because he's arrogant enough in his own abilities, but his sheer tenacity can keep her in lock-step. His own control on himself is tenuous as well, and he can lash out, sometimes violently. The scenes of duskford, Patzo, Cretan Bull, and hentrytemp are my main sources for this, particularly duskford and Patzo's scenes with Shawn/Taylor, Cretan Bull's alternate orgy thread, and henrytemp's take on Kendra.

The younger Dustin is self-effacing, courteous, and devoted. Taking gentlemanly behavior to its logical extreme, he and Victoria broke up to spare her feelings when the Lewis family moved, but always held a candle for her. Seeing her again after that time was a complete surprise, and obviously he's been silently wrestling with himself about it. Still, she is paramount in his mind, and he would gladly let her fly to someone else if it meant her happiness. He is in total command of his demeanor and his actions and word are chosen with careful deliberation. I assume the same thoughts lead him to leave religion and declare his atheism, to which the logical reverend's daughter Victoria responded quite well. Much of this can be found in both orgy threads and duskford's main thread.

It's like they're polar opposites, literally a devil and an angel. Although I'd want to hang out with one over the other, I couldn't deny the other's brutal honesty about his twisted outlook on life. Shawn is reprehensible, but he's still human, and Dustin is understanding, but he can't deny how he feels about, say, Victoria. In the original draft of my latest contribution to the collaborative orgy thread, I had a scene that focused on Shawn's childhood before Dustin's birth that revolved around their father being abusive toward their mother, but I feel that may be too simplistic of an explanation in the short-term. Not to say that such a home life didn't exist, but their reactions to it are obviously different. If we want to go with that, then what could be the split? What did Dustin experience that Shawn didn't, or even vice versa? If the abusive dynamic didn't exist, then how did they grow up?

Shawn has always been an asshole, from an age so young that it would make you look like an asshole for saying it about him, but he was at best a disagreeable child and teenager. He even talks like an asshole, with a very arch and "sophisticated" manner of speaking, but then Dustin's also more articulate than others his age. I'm gonna make a leap from that: their parents thought it was important they encounter new ideas young, so they're both well-read for their ages.

In other words, once upon a time, Shawn was more like Gavin than Kurt. Then Shawn started going to elementary/grammar school and meeting a bunch of new kids and getting bullied hardcore for being such a dork. Well, some people get over bullying by becoming bullies, and that's what happened to Shawn. Hearkening back to our PUA talk in the comments, I figure Shawn became a Nice Guy of the worst sort, and it burned him to see pretty girls going out with guys he hated. He evolved this embittered worldview where women are weapons men use to hurt each other, and he put a lot of effort into looking and sounding like someone girls wanted to talk to. Seduction is a struggle for women against other men, even theoretical men he's never met and will never meet, and it's important to Shawn that he always hit first*.

His parents realized he was becoming an asshole, and every attempt to engage him ended up being a screaming, door-slamming, window-rattling fight. They tried to reel him in, but he ignored all their rules: it was exhausting for everyone. Which means nobody had energy left for Dustin. He got used to staying out of the house much of the time to avoid the fights, or spending his time at home in his room, reading. His parents didn't neglect him, but they assumed he was "very mature for his age" and "an old soul" when really he was trying not to be noticed. Probably it was so hard for him to break up with Vicky because he got used to spending time with the Walkers and grew closer to them than he was with his own parents.

*Metaphorically. The one place I disagree with you is that I think Shawn would only resort to violence if he had an invincible upper hand. When I write Shawn, the big difference between him and Asshole Kurt is that Shawn's a tremendous coward. Why risk getting hurt when he can hide behind doublespeak?

EDIT: Also, brainwave. Dustin's not used to people fawning over him or praising him for his positive qualities. He's smart and charming and handsome and cannot for the life of him take a compliment (it makes people think he's arrogant, especially the ones who know Shawn, when it's in fact his own brand of insecurity). Maybe he broke up with Vicky because as much as he loves her, he was uncomfortable with how much she seemed to idolize him?
