DOOMED

Progress! Unfortunately, going to be doing some traveling next week, so there might be some posting interruptions. Do what I can.

Progress remains steady, we get spates of likes and then slowdowns. All very normal. The story continues.

I'll be traveling most of this coming week and the next, so updates will be sketchy after Monday. I know you're all deepy disappointed at not getting your twice-daily dose of degenerate fanfiction filth. But I need the vacation.

Lost most of a week of writing with traveling this month.

State of the Story:

The longest branch is 35 chapters deep. (+0)
There are currently 353 chapters to be written. (-41)

So, as the last number indicates, likes have been way down this month. Pace has been steady, but whether it's the site redesign or last month's interruption, but it doesn't look like Doomed is attracting new readers or maybe even keeping all of its old ones. Which is slightly disappointing, but even if the story never got another like, that's almost six months of steady writing before I start to cap off branches with ending chapters.

Likes are back up. The story continues. Mostly it continues to broaden, that's kind of natural with the way stories go: more people read the earlier chapters, more people like the earlier chapters, so more branches are written for earlier chapters. I should probably think up a schema that inspires depth rather than breadth, but not with this story.

State of the Story:
There are 1,532 chapters. (+60)
The longest branch is 35 chapters deep. (+0)
There are currently 363 chapters to be written. (-8)

Story is moving along. Some shorter chapters. Been a struggle to write this month, with everything else going on.
